Oh no aubergine! Hope they can give you a different one and that work goes ok.
Hope college is ok beckie. I'm awake before 9 again on my day off because of the bloody building work by my house. |
Sitting in hospital waiting for a blood test. I’m number 14! But they haven’t even started yet...
There isn't really a different one I can have. The one I was on before the one that I took last night can increase prolactin levels, which is not OK because the reason I feel so sick is because i'm switching meds because of high prolactin levels! The other option is also used in higher doses as an AP, so I can't take that, then there's the one I took last night. The others are expensive/only licensed for specific indications, so they don't like prescribing them. I'm going to get some wrist things. And eat lots of ginger/drink ginger tea. HAh.
Number 14?! You could be there a while... I have a blood test next Wednesday. Bleh! Boo to being awake, Lillie! Tell them to be quiet. :P What have you got planned for today? |
They’re on 7 or 8 already, it’s moving pretty quickly today. Squished between two people in the waiting area though and I really don’t like it..... =(
Oh that's really sucky aubergine but at least the sickness shouldn't be long lasting.
Well at least by the sounds of it you won't be there too long Person! I'm doing laundry and will clean my bedroom, my cpn is coming over. I also need to go into town for meds and some bits and bobs. Mostly just wanna sleep. |
Have you got time for a nap chinahorse?
Number 11 now. Nearly there. |
They are making swift progress!
Yeah, I'm going to try to get most things done this morning or by 2 at the latest then I can chill out this afternoon before I MUST cook a sweet potato quorn shepards pie. It NEED to happen cos I definitely won't be cooking to that level when I'm at work. |
Ooh I made a sweet potato shepherds pie last week. Not with quorn though. Was yummy.
I’m all done! I was told off for having small veins because I hadn’t drank enough water. Whoops. Back home for breakfast and then off to work... Have a good day, hope you get some time to relax at some point. =) |
wow people are up early, am on a train to London for work, actually must do some, although one of my meetings has been postponed so I have plenty of time, must focus! I don't think I'd be able to work if I wasn't able to sleep, hope it goes okay Aubergine. I've been having crazy dreams, they're exhausting, even though I'm asleep!
Ooops Person, least you know if there's a next time though. Hope work goes ok!
It's good your day is less hectic now wildly insane. |

I'm chairing a 3 hour meeting and wont be home until 7pm, it's one of the hardest things I do I reckon because you literally have to focus really hard solidly for 3 hours. It'll be okay though, all the people in the meeting are lovely.
I have a meeting too this morning. I am seeing Mike so will say hi from everyone. Hence why I am up early.
Hope you have fun insig.
Afternoon :) How is everyone?
Hello everyone. I am finally home. I have been out since 10.22. I have had a busy day.
Sounds productive Dawn! How was your meeting?
Afternoon Eska, how’s your day? |
I’m just out the shower. Relaxing before I have to get ready for going out for my dad’s birthday.
It was a interesting meeting though I got confused a bit in the middle. There was a vote so I didn't know what I was voting for so I had to abstain. I am hopefully going to the next one.
Because of the time I got out I missed the bus and because I was meeting my friend later I decided to kill time in tesco which is the far end of town. In the end despite taking my time in tesco and not knowing where everything was I was half an hour early for coffee with my friend. Fortunately she was already there but was talking to her son and ex husband so I sat on the next table whilst she finished. So I was able to meet her earlier than scheduled so I was able to catch an earlier bus. |
Sounds like a busy day Dawn.
Yes it was Lorraine. I have my mum coming tomorrow so I won't have a peaceful day tomorrow. Hopefully I will have a lie in.
Sounds like a nice day even if it was busy :-)
Hey all :)
hi there
I'm watching a Korean short movie on a site called Viddsee, it's OK, played snooker with my Dad & a friend today, can't wait until it warms up a bit.
Oh tell me about it, I'm longing for spring, we've got snowdrops and croci in the garden though and I woke up this morning and it was just about light, so we're getting there.
February can be a harsh month though, before it gets better.
it's so wet out, everything is so muddy! a bit less grey and a bit more sun, here's hoping!
why do you need to go out at this time, I'm in for the evening?
Haha, not tonight, although right now I'm still on the train back from London, then I have to get the bus, but normally after work I take the dog for an evening walk to do his business - he is not interested in doing it in the garden which is good cos we don't have to clean it up and bad because when the weather is horrible we still have to take him out!
How did the snooker go? I used to play pool relatively well but never snooker.
Snooker went OK, I used to play pool really well, but I never really liked those games as much as golf.
I did play in a national pool tournament in 2005, got to the finals, free hotel stay & all that in Cardiff. |
cool, well done, much better than me, my brother could beat me every time! Do you still play golf?
no, I don't, I used to play with my dad mostly, around Devon, that was in the 90's, good memories.
I used to play with friends too, school friends, but they've got families now, & unfortunately one of them died, my best friend for a while. |
I'm sorry to hear that, it must be hard, hold on to those good memories, they're precious. it sounds like you have a good relationship with your dad? I love Devon, grew up there, but further north than Plymouth, I also love Cornwall.
I love Cornwall too, used to holiday in Padstow, Newquay when I was young, had a job in Bodmin for about a year.
wow, a year on Bodmin, that would blow the cobwebs away!
Love Bodmin Moor. =)
Hey person, how are you?
It was a nice job, was thinking of moving there, but decided to stay in Plymouth & get a job here, it was 1997, could still be working there if I moved there, but suppose that's the way it goes.
hi NonPerson
Hi Hannah (really hoping I've got the right name for you there and not randomly made it up!)
Hi Cpt. =) I'm ok, just watching Pointless with a cat on my lap. |
I tend to tell myself that when I make a decision like that, whatever the decision is or was it's the right one because it was the one that was made, if that makes any sense?
Haha, yes, that's my name.
Hah, good, really wasn't certain. :tongue2:
ooh cats on laps are great, ours rarely sit on our laps, the dog sits on our lap, but the cats love lying on top of us when we're in bed, which makes settling down to sleep a little tricky, but cute.
It does make sense, because I made the wrong decision, I would be happier living in Bodmin, than I am now, living in Plymouth.
It's a shame you think that Cpt. maybe someday you can get another job down there?
I can't wait for a time when I can live in the middle of nowhere, unfortunately my husband doesn't quite have the same desire to live out in the sticks. I would be quite happy although a good pub within walking distance is always a bonus!
I grew up in a village, it was so great, about 40 houses, a pub, & post office.
