Magnesium? I didn't know that! I just gotta find out what has that in it and a lot of my problems would be solved xD
I'm properly fed up with all the sport on recently. Why can't the BBC just make a special channel for that stuff so we don't have to suffer, there's nothing good on tv. I'm watching avatar on DVD, that's wasting a bit of time. |
Yeah like there's absolutely nothing on because of ****ing athletics. I mean it's on every single day next week. I don't mind sport it's when they don't put on your usual programmes I object to. Why can't they put it on the red button?
|
I should probably get some multi vitamins again!
Sooo much sports crap!! Im just watching films |
I am finishing binge watching Neighbours. I am going to be watching A Street Cat Called Bob later. I fancy watching The Railway Children but I don't have the dvd with me. My mum fancies Seabiscuit but my copy is a Region 1 dvd which isn't compatible with their dvd player.
|
I know!! I don't pay the tv licence for sports, I pay it for good programs I wanna watch. You're right dawn, it should be on the red button!
Multivitamins sounds good, I didn't think of that! I'm watching films too. Looks like I'll be doing that all next week, aside from EastEnders of course :P |
Ooo my Facebook has come up with memories today. According to my phone I have memories with Mike.
|
Films seem to be saving us all from this athletics induced hell.
|
Hello everyone :)

It's even on next week. I guess that I will have to find another dvd that both my mum and I want to watch. I don't think my mum wants to watch The Railway Children. |
Hi Eska

I'm back home now. Deciding what to watch instead of casualty. Thank goodness for Netflix.
|
I... actually quite like watching athletics? *hides*
|
I'm fairly new to Facebook so I've never had the memories thing, but I wouldn't have many memories for it to tell me anyway tbh lol
Hello eska! |
Hi eska! Haven't seen you around for a bit!
|
Don't worry Eska, we'll forgive you. :)

I like dvds too Dawn. By the way, I added to my happy box. I just need to put together one for my sister. I'm doing the drawings for her to colour this evening.
|
Oh that's a really good idea Lorraine!! Colouring is fun and calming
|
I designed a colouring book over a year ago for my sister. This time I'm making her postcards to colour in. She loves doing that.
|
Writing and art combined sounds great Lorraine. Also glad you are adding to your happy box :) But as for forgiving athletics-lovers. Speak for yourself ;P
See I would prefer DVDs if I didn't seem to have a talent for scratching them. I love the railway children. Along with Secret Garden, Little Women, Anne of Green Gables and A little princess to a degree (though that film can piss me off with it's inaccuracy to the book). |
Your sister sounds v lucky Lorraine!
|
I used to love the railway children and secret garden as a kid. Had them on video!
|
I've never seen either of those things.
|
^ You're missing out!

Ah the good old vhs. The moments when the tape got twisted. The times I spent waiting for it to rewind. The pause screen, the mess it was. Good times.
|
Ah yes. Those were the days!!
|
That takes me back. It was a simpler time.
|
It was indeed!
|
Back when we had tapes instead of mp3 files. Sitting by the radio waiting for the song I wanted to come on so I could record it. I was one heck of a pirate back then xD
|
Kids today don't know how lucky they are!
|
Omg i forgot all about the tape recording thing! XD
Kids these days don't know how good they have it. With their YouTube and their iTunes!! |
Yeah, youngsters with their mobile phones. Back in my day the phone was connected to the wall. Ain't no internet on it or camera either
Speaking of cameras, back in my day I had to wait like a week to get my pictures back from Bonus Print to see if I got good pictures or not! |
We are all old :(
I remember the tape thing too! One redeeming part of videos was if you stopped it it stayed where it was though so you could start at the correct point instead of having to scene skip like on DVD. I liked how everyone in the family had their own video tapes as well. Mine was mostly x-men :P |
Remember dial up internet? That awful noise!
|
And the miracle that was the walkman <3 transformed long car journeys!
|
My god we're all so old!
I loved my walkman! I remember when i had a cd one. You had to stay perfectly still so it wouldn't skip! |
We sound like a bunch of grannies.
|
We actually do!! XD
|

We should rename this the golden oldies thread :P |
Oh my goodness I loved my walkman. It was one where you didn't have to take the tape out to turn it around. It had a radio on it too!
And I had a portable cd player too, the skipping was unbelievable lol!! Good times!! Good, simple times. Oh and the old gameboy. Back then it didn't have a light on it, so you couldn't play it at night! |
The struggle of playing the gameboy on long car journeys when it was dark!!
Mum wouldn't let us get those book light things they made for gameboys! I googled a few films today to see who the actors were. In the old days, i would just be sitting here going 'omg i know i know them from somewhere!!!' And it would drive me insane! |
It is nice to have google at our fingertips.
|
It really is!
Settles many family arguments too! Lol! |
Haha that's true. And it means you get to say 'see I told you!'
|
Ha ha google is win. Do you remember Ask jeeves? Fail.
|
Exactly Lorraine!
Omg ask jeeves!! XD |
Yeh I remember that.
Sob! Casualty should be on just now! I'm still deciding what to watch. I've added a few things to my watch list so I need to choose something. Maybe pride and prejudice. |
*mourns for casualty*
Im gonna go to bed I think. And the ridiculous tiredness continues! Night night all |
