I've just had the revelation that it is Wednesday not Thursday and therefore unusually I have no appointments so don't need to make self look presentable :P

I hate it when that happens!

Ah but I've caught it before I started getting ready so it's like win I have zilch to do *flops back on sofa*

Lol! Nothing to do days are the best!

Yay for not having to look presentable but boo to nothing to do.

I'm going to dye my hair to keep me out of mischief.

Indeed. Just watching America's got talent. Watched little girl do an epic version of Celine Dion, had urge to sing heart will go on dramtically-conclusion: I am not Celine Dion.

Tbh Lillie I feel like I need one of those days of nothing to do just to regroup a bit.

Decided I cba to dye my hair today.

I've always wanted to dye my hair purple. But like, tinted purple. My hair is dark brown, so like, it goes purple in the sun if that makes sense. I've never seen that in the shops though and even if I did I'm not brave enough!

Ugh I hate the flies!! Especially those big black ones that you can hear buzzing but can't see them!

I had my Windows open for a bit but i kept hearing flies so had to close them.
Ive got all these really tiny bugs all over me too. Its awful!

Oh that sounds really icky! I have a plug that emits a high pitched sound which gets rid of flies and moths. It works for me, so maybe you could get one of them. It says it's a 'pest repeller electro magnetic' we don't have one in the hallway and that seems to be where the flies have gathered for their secret meetings or whatever it is they do!

I think I might get either fish and chips or pizza. Haven't decided yet!

I had no idea that kind of gadget exisits!
I'll definitely have to look into that!

Hello all. Welcome to the thread Eska.

I've had a nice lazy day. I stayed overnight at my sister's flat and had a long lie and then lunch at hers. We then went to the local pub for two drinks and I'm now back in my flat. It's handy our flats being 4 doors away. I had planned to do lots of house work but I suppose I can do that tomorrow. Too tired now.

Hi! Are you up to much today? I just got back from a walk in the sunshine :D

A walk in the sunshine sounds good. It's warm here but a bit cloudy.

Sketchy that sounds like a great day! And super convenient to live so close, my sister is at the other end of the country so I don't see her that much although I visit when I can.

I'm good! Making happy playlists right now, went into town this morning and bought new walking boots and then cooked fajitas for lunch, which all makes it a super productive day by my standards!

ETA: Oh and I dyed half my hair purple!

I have a cheek to chill out since it's been such a lazy day, but those two drinks have made me tired.

I have had a interesting day. First of all I went swimming before and the fire alarm went off whilst I was in there. Not once but twice. They evacuated everyone out of the pool the first time. I felt vulnerable standing outside in just my swimming costume. I am just glad that it's not winter! The second time I was in the changing room and I just stood there waiting for people to go out of the building but nobody did so I waited for the alarm to stop then got dressed.

Then I had a different nurse to do my depot except the depot wouldn't come out of the needle! The nurse tried her best but it refused to come out. It was the first time it happened to us both. So she had to give up so goodness knows when I will get my depot. Unfortunately she didn't have any spare medication to try again.

Sketchy pink hair sounds brilliant! Mine isn't super obvious because my hair is a mid-brown to start with so it's come out more subtle than super bright (enough that my dad hasn't noticed yet lol). Nothing wrong with chilling out, especially if you're tired - we all need lazy days sometimes.

Dawn, that's a shame about the swimming. I know you enjoy a swim. Are you going back again soon?

Eska, my hair is brown too, but I dyed my hair blonde first so the pink is really bright.

Dawn (is it ok if I call you that?) - definitely a shame about the swimming! Sounds like a bit of a strange day all round... I hope you have a lovely evening though and that your depot gets sorted :)

Yes I am going swimming next week hopefully. It didn't bother me too much as the first time I was in the jacuzzi so I had finished my swim. Just felt vulnerable because my scars were showing. I was worried how I was going home because my keys and bus pass were in the locker. But we were only outside for about 5 minutes.

It was fun but sadly the college supplied crap make up which set off my super sensitive eyes. Still the tutor was like good practice for them working around the watering lol

A happy playlist sounds a good plan. I can't think of any songs. I like rock music. I like making playlists for walking or when I panic on my iPod.

I like many different kinds of music but the happy ones are usually like ones with an awesome bass drop or fast rock music if that makes sense!
