Scans are good. I'm ok, watching TV.

Are you in less pain, Beckie? How are you feeling in general? Fingers crossed that the scan is helpful and you don't need loads of other tests.

Pain isn't really much better. I had some fairly strong painkillers but they wore off pretty fast. And then IV paracetamol.
He said i could stay until the scan tomorrow if i wanted, but it was either be in pain sat in an uncomfortable chair all night, causing extra pain, or come home and be in pain and go back tomorrow. No brainer really!
I won't have to queue again. Straight into radiology.

Who would sit in a&e all night?
I'm watching Rev. It's Tom Hollander as a vicar.

I guess someone who couldn't get home safely Or who lived alone and was worried about getting worse? Or maybe someone who wanted to get continued access to hospital pain meds.

But in a chair all night in A&E when you don't have to isn't something I would do!

Hope scan tomorrow gives you an answer as to what is up and it's something that is easy to treat /fix Beckie.

I might get to finish my roleplaying campaign tonight but we are having a shorter session as our teacher friend has been on a week away wrangling school kids and is tired. so it might spill into next week.

Morning all. I have been on holiday hence the radio silence. It was good but involved a lot of walking.

The longest walk on my retreat was from my room to the tearoom... well done!

Thanks tamobhuuta. I did a lot of steps. I have my cat back from the cattery where he stayed and at home now. I think he missed me.

Still at hospital. They sent me to same day emergency care for more bloods and to see surgeons again. Waiting for blood results now. I am sick of being poked and prodded! And only allowed clear fluids, which is probably the worst part XD

It's not great really. Pain isn't good. I can't actually remember when i had the codeine in hospital so gonna estimate and leave it a bit longer. I'm also really tired.

Yes Lindsay the horrible part of finding a home for everything now. Fortunately I was in self catering accommodation with a washing machine and tumble dryer so I did the majority of my clothes washing whilst I was away so I haven't got a mountain of laundry to do.

I've done the usual going for meds and getting some food. Done a washing and cleaned the kitchen and bathroom. Read a chapter of my book, wish I could get more into it. Random internetting. Wrote in my diary.

How long will the Codeine last? I hope you can get some relief from the pain and some rest and a good sleep tonight.
