We did diaphragmatic breathing in pilates sometimes.
I hate breathing exercises, because i always panic and feel like i can't breathe! We did self defence today Practicing releases for if someone grabs you. Sounds like you needed the rest np! Have fun with your life admin I'm going to go to asda to get it out of the way. I can hopefully budget for a box of coffee sachets, because this headache isn't going to shift unless i have coffee. Which is actually awful that I'm so dependent on it! How on earth can one breathe through only one nostril??? |
By blocking off the other nostril, of course! XD
I know what you mean by the panic. I also don't like the exercises where you have to make breath noises! Enjoy Asda! |
I find breathing out through my mouth makes me feel anxious.
|
As an asthmatic I concur that breathing can be quite hard at times! I do some breathing linked yoga moves though as part of gentle exercise my physio recommended.
I feel slightly more human this morning although I do have a slight headache. |
I think you have a different standpoint on breathing to most of us, Jen! =/
Glad you're feeling a bit better this morning. |
Right, makes more sense now
Thought you meant hands free one nostril breathing! XD At taekwondo we have to make like a loud outward breath sound when we do a move. Haven't quite got the hang of it yet! Especially when I'm out of breath! Glad you feel a bit better jen! Hopefully your headache will subside soon. I am back and i managed to get coffee! I had some change in my purse. So I'm hoping my headache will go now |
Afternoon everyone.
I'm so anxious about my phone call from Duty at 1pm. It's the same lady who I spoke to yesterday and she was nice but I don't know what to say although obviously she will contribute too and it will become a conversation. But still...phone call. Been for my meds. Cleaned the kitchen and bathroom and put a washing on. |
Just out getting bacon, egg and sausage baguettes. Om nom nom!
Good luck for phone call Lindsay. Maybe you could look back on your serious thread or RV for ideas of what to talk about? |
I hope it goes well lindsay!
Have you written any key points down? Well done for getting so much done! I've booked a haircut for 1st june :) Oooh that sounds delicious! I could smell bacon rolls in town this morning. Love a bacon roll! |
I think I said most stuff yesterday.
That sounds very yummy, Jen. I have had 3 bacon rolls recently because I bought a pack of bacon so needed to use it up. Are you just going to get a trim, Beckie or something exciting? |
Just a trim i think.
Though i may have a look at some different styles too! |
Everyones so busy!!
I've had my fringe cut, been to town, been to Asda and pumped up all the car tyres. I'm just having a bagel for lunch and then going to one friends this afternoon, get back about 5:30 and then picking my colleagues up to go to someone else's house for Eurovision! Thank god for a quiet house task day tomorrow! |
Baguette was very delicious, butchers burger van isn't far from home so we popped back and ate them in the garden in the sunshine.
I need a haircut. I have got into my bad habit again of not getting round to haircuts and not had one in over a year. It is getting too long. |
Super busy Beth!
|
Wow! That's a lot Beth!
I miss being busy Ooh lovely! It's not sunny here at all sadly. And rather chilly! I haven't had one in ages. Not since i started dying my hair myself because i used to get it all done at the same time! I definitely don't get them as often as i should. |
Oooh I keep forgetting about Eurovision tonight.
I cut my own hair =| |
I won't be watching Eurovision, I will be off to bed!
|
I will be watching Eurovision because Liverpool is only about an hour by car from where I live or about that much via train. They have been promoting where I live as an ideal base to stay for those wanting to see Eurovision. Liverpool is my 4th nearest city.
|
So you wouldn't watch if it was further away?
|
I've never really been into eurovision.
I imagine cutting your own hair would save lots of money! I enjoy the whole salon experience. |
I don't like Eurovision like one of those superfans! I watch it for the lols and the WTFs =P
It's not about the money. I just cannot stand the salon experience. |
I do watch the highlights online.
Like there were those grannies one year i think! One i really did like ages ago was Lordi, hard rock hallelujah. That was so good! That's fair enough. It can be a bit much, with all the touching and small talk. I've been going to the same place since i moved here and i love to talk! Lol |
Lordi have gone down in Eurovision history. There's usually one rock/metal/alternative performance of varying quality each year.
Yeees, the touching and small talk! I like talking (to an extent) but don't seem to have a lot in common with most hairdressers. =P |
The music video for it was pretty cool too!
Yeah i don't either really! But thanks to working in a pub, i can talk to absolutely anyone about anything! I talk to one of the regulars about football. I know nothing about football! But I'm able to bullshit my way through most topics XD |
That is indeed a very special talent. =o
|
I wish I was good at small talk.
|
The only thing is, once i get started, it is very hard to shut me up XD
It's just practice tamo! |
I'm sure they don't mind.
|
Hopefully!
I really need the toilet but amazon is 1 stop away! D: |
I need my hair trimmed too, it's a mess.
I wouldn't dare cut my own hair! |
Speed to the toilet, Beckie! 1 stop away can mean anything. Do you have a safe place where they leave your parcels if you don't answer?
|
Very weirdly, as soon as i posted that, i stopped needing to go....
 |
I think your mind decided to push it to the side so you can definitely get your parcel.
|
Hold it in!
|
My parcel has arrived!
I can relax now XD |
Good stuff. Is it an exciting parcel?
|
What did you get?
|
Salted caramel coffee sachets!
Cheaper brand than the other caramel coffee i used to get |
Mmm tastey
|
Indeed!
I'm never going to let myself run out of coffee again! |

Also I wouldn't mind watching Eurovision but I don't really have time :( |
That is a bit rude!
My neighbours daughter trained as a hairdresser but doesn't work as one. But i don't like having my hair cut in a house. It feels weird! Ahh that's a shame :( |
You can listen to it on the radio as well if that's any help?
|
I imagine it wouldn't be the same without seeing the bonkers outfits and routines!

A stranger is just a friend (or enemy i guess) that you haven't met yet! :tongue2:
The Internet does indeed do radio! Lol |
You can probably stream Eurovision on your phone through the BBC sounds app. I haven't checked but it's usually on the BBC somewhere.

The word Eurovision makes my brain start singing Chuckle Vision.
