tamobhuuta 12-04-2023 11:48 AM

I hope everyone's days are productive.

not_so_insig 12-04-2023 11:48 AM

Yes I have to stay in. I will probably watch Four in a Bed later and put my bins out since it's ryl bin night. It's ordinary wheelie bin night tonight.

not_so_insig 12-04-2023 12:44 PM

It's pissing it down here. I have a cat on me.

tamobhuuta 12-04-2023 12:55 PM

I can't decide if my soup is too salty :/

not_so_insig 12-04-2023 01:05 PM

I believe a raw potato absorbs excess salt. Is it tinned soup or homemade?

tamobhuuta 12-04-2023 01:19 PM

Homemade. It was very salty but I ate it anyway, couldn't be bothered to get anything else!

not_so_insig 12-04-2023 01:22 PM

I hope that your mouth isn't too dry!

tamobhuuta 12-04-2023 01:23 PM

Nah, it's ok. What are you up to?

Cacoethes 12-04-2023 01:26 PM

I do have my stuff back! Finally!

Good luck with your appointment lindsay

not_so_insig 12-04-2023 01:28 PM

I am watching Four in a Bed tamobhuuta. No sign of amazon yet.

tamobhuuta 12-04-2023 01:44 PM

I'm glad you've got your stuff Cacoethes.

I hope you're enjoying your TV insig, and that your delivery comes soon.

I might watch Doctor Who later. I started with Christopher Eccleston and now I'm on Matt Smith, who isn't as annoying as I remembered.

tamobhuuta 12-04-2023 01:44 PM

Hi long road how are you?

long road 12-04-2023 01:45 PM

I am doing sort of ok today. Tired but managed to do my morning routine only a little off schedule. Now listening to P!nk's new album Trustfall.

tamobhuuta 12-04-2023 02:04 PM

Is it good?

long road 12-04-2023 02:27 PM

I am quite enjoying it. Bit of a more relaxed vibe than some of her earlier stuff.

Ahimsa 12-04-2023 02:34 PM

I love Pink

I’m shattered, I finish in 2 and a half hours and then need to empty my whole living room for cleaning the carpet at 9am tomorrow!

I’m working the full weekend this week, so my 1 day off tomorrow is:
Carpet cleaning 9-12
Meeting supporting at 1-2:45
Hair being done 3-5

Not sure when I’m gonna get a nap!

not_so_insig 12-04-2023 02:54 PM

My amazon order has arrived. Now deciding whether I should go to the post office tomorrow or not. Also deciding what to have for tea.

not_so_insig 12-04-2023 03:17 PM

The wind has picked up as I am having trouble with watching tv through the dish. It's supposed to be really windy later so I suspect that I will be watching catchup.

tamobhuuta 12-04-2023 03:43 PM

How's your TV watching going insig?

I've watched some doctor who as planned. It's helping :)

not_so_insig 12-04-2023 04:21 PM

Not very well as it's impossible to watch through the dish. I have washed my hair though. Also put the bins out.

one_step_closer 12-04-2023 04:28 PM

Well done, Jen. Doing your morning routine despite being tired. Have you listened to any of the new/old Meteora stuff? I just downloaded the songs I didn't have rather than the whole thing.

Ahimsa, you do so much! I hope you can find time for a well deserved nap.

I'm glad watching Doctor Who is helping, Tamo.

Well done for what you've managed, Dawn. I too have washed my hair and put my bin out.

not_so_insig 12-04-2023 04:30 PM

Thanks Lindsay

one_step_closer 12-04-2023 04:33 PM

Maybe you can watch The Railway Children Return if you haven't got round to it yet, Dawn, if the wind is going to make TV viewing difficult.

Cacoethes 12-04-2023 04:51 PM

Had thunder and hail here!
Still windy but calmed down

not_so_insig 12-04-2023 04:56 PM

I might watch a dvd once i have had my tea Lindsay. Though according to what I read before the wind is supposed to be better after 7 pm.

one_step_closer 12-04-2023 05:11 PM

I hope you weren't out in the thunder and hail, Beckie. That would be painful!

It's quite windy here too, both times I went out I used my headphones mostly to keep my ears warm. The sun is shining now though.

Have you decided what to have for tea (I'd call it dinner), Dawn?

I mean, I only do what I have to!!

one_step_closer 12-04-2023 05:21 PM

I hope you can fit in nice things too.

not_so_insig 12-04-2023 05:22 PM

I had the rest of my lamb, some croquettes and corn on the cob Lindsay.

one_step_closer 12-04-2023 05:23 PM

Sounds good. I don't know if I've ever had lamb. I wouldn't know how to cook it. Plus poor little lamb!

not_so_insig 12-04-2023 05:28 PM

I shoved it in the air fryer originally Lindsay. I have a meat probe so I knew when it was cooked properly.

one_step_closer 12-04-2023 05:29 PM

Ah. Did it turn out ok in the air fryer? I'm yet to feel confident in using mine. I either burn things or they have cold bits.

tamobhuuta 12-04-2023 05:36 PM

L has recently invested in an air fryer, she thinks it's great.

Ahimsa 12-04-2023 05:39 PM

It’s an idea I’ve never got on board with! Are they worth it?

I say this while not owning a microwave either!

not_so_insig 12-04-2023 05:41 PM

Yes it turned out fine Lindsay.

nonperson 12-04-2023 05:41 PM

Yesterday on the TV John Torode said he did not know what an air fryer is.

not_so_insig 12-04-2023 05:47 PM

Well that's stupid considering he is a food judge.

not_so_insig 12-04-2023 05:50 PM

I have been outside and whilst it's still windy it's died down a lot. Might try watching TV.

Ahimsa 12-04-2023 05:55 PM

What're you going to watch Insig?

I'm home from work, and I've been round to my friends to feed her pets while she's away. All I need to do tonight is clear the living room ready for the carpet people tomorrow (idk where I"m going to put everything!!), go get some money out, and have a bath and ideally an early night.

one_step_closer 12-04-2023 06:32 PM

I hope you're able to watch TV, Dawn.

I hope you can manage everything, Ahimsa. That's nice of you looking after your friends pets on top of everything else. Hope you can squish all your living room stuff into other rooms.

Cacoethes 12-04-2023 07:31 PM

My washing is still not dry.
4th time lucky....

Not got to all the old / new songs from the meotera 20th anniversary yet. They are on my listening list.

Just cooked dinner of a sausage and root veg stovie and just about to meditate and then do some roleplaying.

I hope your washing is dry next time the machine finishes Beckie. Old dryers are either incredibly efficient because they go stupidly hot or terrible. No in-between.

Cacoethes 12-04-2023 08:42 PM

Sounds delicious jen!

It's not completely dry but good enough.
I know if i put it on again, it takes about 50 mins, by which time the night staff will probably refuse to let me get it out :eyeroll:

Ahimsa 12-04-2023 09:40 PM

Ugh how annoying Beckie!

I fell asleep :(

long road 12-04-2023 11:36 PM

Your body clearly needed the rest Ahimsa. Good luck with carpet cleaning in the morning

Ahimsa 12-04-2023 11:57 PM

You're up late Long Road?

I'm just running a bath now :)

long road 13-04-2023 12:38 AM

Eh I often am. Just not always online. Enjoy your bath. I will attempt sleep soonish

Cacoethes 13-04-2023 08:36 AM

Morning peeps.
Hope you all slept well

Ahimsa 13-04-2023 09:15 AM

Morning Beckie!

My new necklace is arriving soon!! :)
