Ugh a few people at work are off with either covid or a really bad cold, some have positive tests, some don't. But I'm exhausted this week and I've not done anything more than normal.

I don't have time to get sick!

Well, I have time to be sick now, but at home i don't!

I am very achy and may attempt to get a little bit more sleep as I kept waking up last night, I think due to pain. Pain is still here this morning but thankfully less.

I wasn't around to accept a parcel this morning. And I don't know what it is!

Ummm... no! My big job for the day is to go to Confession. Then watch doctor who. No doctors because it's Friday :(

I LOVE animals!
And i miss my jobs. The bar and outside area are dog friendly, we have water bowls and treats for them!
Best part of my job is fussing all the cute dog.
There's a tiny dachshund called Beans who tries to square up to all the big dogs XD

I can cope with one healthy animal (depending on the animal) for short periods.

Nap and then a hot shower and now I feel mostly human! Off to try staying in a cottage with some friends for the weekend soon. Hopefully it goes ok.

Yes I’m off this weekend, I work 1 in 4. Luckily it’s not been too busy today so I’ve got quite a bit of work done which is a win!

I usually put them around the alarum clock but I went to sleep with them on and they fell off my face. When that happens they usually in the bedding but nope they fell behind the bed this time. I only found them when I moved my bed (it's a solid thing) and even then I had to use the feather duster to reach them. So I have them on right now and I am glad that I have found them.

I'm glad you found them too. Do you do things in bed that need you to wear glasses?

Yes I need to wear my glasses all the time i am awake. Otherwise I can't see much.

I just read that someone on Facebook got their coffee substituted for gravy in their supermarket delivery. Then another person got tassimo pods instead of dolce gusto pods. That was asda btw.

Making a cup of gravy instead of a cup of coffe is not a mistake you want to make! Imagine if they didn't realise!

Glad you found your glasses Dawn I too wear my glasses all the time and everywhere. I tend to lose mine when I take them off to brush my hair or if I switch into prescription sunglasses and don't put glasses in sunglasses case.

Afternoon! I am just having a rest away from the group. Needed some time to recharge. It is a very nice holiday house.

My main complaint is the bed maybe too soft.

How was your shopping/browsing Ahimsa?

Is it a computer that decides the substitutions do you think?

I never do anything in bed except try to sleep and sleep (and snack sometimes) so I put my glasses in their case on my desk before I go to sleep so don't lose them that way. I put them on the toilet when I'm washing my hair and the rest of the time they're on my face so I always know where they are.

Just hanging out and doing some roleplaying. Purpose of meetup is finale of a long running campaign. So that's what happening today then tomorrow we are going out for a pub lunch before everyone heads home.

I could not handle my glasses being on the toilet I would be worried about germs and about them falling in. I put mine on windowsill or wonder half blind between bedroom and bathroom
