I hope you've seen your GP long road and that they were helpful.
I hope you have an OK day Cacoethes. I am determined to have a hairwash. |
Thanks.
Getting nails done soon. And pilates tonight. So a pretty chill day really. Hope you manage it. |
GP was helpful. Waiting is definitely a good sign with this GP they definitely give you the time you need. Now on a bit of an anxiety come down. Reassuring it went well and not like the worst case scenario my brain came up with.
Good luck with achieving your hairwash Tamo. You can do it! Any idea what design you are getting on your nails Beckie? |
My GP is the same.
I'm glad it went well Yeah. I narrowed it down to 3 designs and asked work people. They all immediately said 'those ones! Those are beckie nails' when i showed them the last pic. Purple and stars! |
Hello all :)
I'm a bit challenged by Findus having some sort of spring fever. He has gone from being playfully naughty but managable to homicidal maniac destruction bun o_o He growled at me and bit me just half an hour ago!!! The nerve!!! I have to spend a lot of time playing with him and cuddling him as that keeps him somewhat more chill. I wish he’d let me put a leash on him so i could take him outside in the garden… But not sure just now would be a good time to practise wearing a leash…. Hairwash today, Tamo!!! You can do it!!!! A chill day is a good day, Beckie. Unless of course you get bored…. I am prone to making accidents and mess stuff up when i get bored…. I'm the same NP. I'd love to paint my bedroom too but that would mean having to mostly empty it. And i don't have the room for the furniture elsewhere. And it'd be hard work. And the thought alone makes me tired….. Yay for parents going home but having had a good time with them too, Jen :) |
Oh findus!
What a naughty bun! I do get bored. But it's not too bad atm. |
I'm clean and so is my hair.
|
Well done!
|
Hello all. I have tesco and amazon coming today. Both due at the same time. Unfortunately they have substituted one item for the exact stuff I said that I didn't want in the comments. So that's going back.
|
Have a random craving for jelly and ice cream and cheese and pineapple sticks.
So basically, kids party food. |
Afternoon everyone.
You can have kids party food without the kids or the party, Beckie! Well done for washing your hair, Tamo! You're doing great with this recently. I hope you're proud of yourself. I'm glad your GP was helpful, Jen. I hope your anxiety eases quickly. Rabbits can growl? You always seem to have substitutions with Tesco, Dawn. I rarely have them when I get an Asda delivery. |
If I had money I could. Lol
Cheese is super expensive for some reason Which is a shame. I love cheese. You been up to much today? My nail lady is running a bit late so I'm waiting |
Ooh purple star nails!
Oh dear Findus don't bite Zurg! Hopefully he mellows out soon! How did your deliveries go Dawn? Thanks OSC. I am calmer now but pretty exhausted had a nap for a couple of hours. How is your day going? Cheese and pineapple is the best party food. Maybe you can get some cheese after your next pay check? As a treat. |
I could do.
Have quite a few bills meant to be going out soon but I'll see. Just that spending £4 on a block of cheese seems extravagant when that's all I'm left with just a few days after payday usually! |
My amazon order fortunately arrived before tesco. I have still to put a few things away however.
|
I always get grated cheese so I can freeze it and defrost it in portions because if I bought a block of cheese it would get mouldy but I do miss chunky cheese.
Are your nails all pretty now, Beckie? Do you need a break when you're putting things away, Dawn? I didn't have much to do to day, just put a washing on and some little things. |
That's a good idea.
I had some high protein grated cheese in my last tesco order. I can't remember what i used it for! My nails are very pretty and I love them! Sounds like a nice chilled day |
I'm glad you love your nails :-) You ok for pilates? What time does it start?
|
I'm glad you like your nails Cacoethes, and that your deliveries came insig.
|
Well done on the little things osc. I'm glad you're feeling calmer long road.
|
Thanks tamobhuuta.
Hope you're ok Beckie. |
Where's Beckie and Tamo? Not like you two not to get here first.
Morning everyone. How are you all and what are you doing today? I've got the gym group at 1pm. Was triggered a couple of times when I was out getting my prescription but I couldn't figure out why, I just felt weird and still do but will try to get on with my day. |
Saw your R/V, Beckie. I hope you're ok. *hugs if ok*
|
Morning all. I have psych appointment and I cba to go. Waste of time really. My cpn isn't going to be there so I am stuck with a psych that I have only met once. Plus I dont know where I am going exactly. I am knackered and could do with staying in bed.
|
I'm about.
Thank you. Still waiting. Getting a bit ridiculous |
What do you want the outcome of this to be, Beckie?
You won't get to know the psych if you don't go to further appointments with them, Dawn. I hope you do go and it's useful or at least ok. Good luck. |
I want to go home. Have been asking pretty much all night. And all 4 sets of officers.
They were gonna get street triage so I didn't have to come to hospital, but apparently a police officer was having a mh crisis, so they went to them instead. |
Been catching up with your r/v Cacoethes. I hope what happens is best for you.
I hope it goes OK with the psych insig. I hope the gym group helps osc. |
Thanks
Just wanna go home. I miss the guinea pigs |
Any news on how much longer you'll be waiting?
|
Nope. Apparently 12 isn't happening...
|
That sounds so frustrating Beckie hope you get seen soon.
Hope your gym group has gone well OSC. Hope psych was tolerable insig. I have had a slow start to my day. |
I have been seen. Awaiting results.
Sorry I'm not catching up with other people It's been a day |
Thinking of you Cacoethes.
I'm watching the BBC regional news before doctors :) |
Been told by 2 of the amhp people to wait for about 20 mins. Idk why.
|
Any news on what is going on Beckie?
I am just lying in bed listening to music. |
What music are you listening to?
|
It is not good news
|
Mix of things Tamo. Started with some Death Cab for Cutie, now on Catfish and the Bottlemen but may change again soon.
Sorry it's not good news Beckie |
Sorry to hear that Cacoethes.
Never heard of them long road! |
Sending love to everyone who needs it
|
How are you osc?
Also, we have tadpoles in our pond! |
Not great. But I managed to get through the gym group.
How are you? What are you getting up to? Eww, I hate tadpoles and frogs! My Mum loved frogs. |
I'm watching Doctor Who, wrapped in my weighted blanket as suggested by the wise Elmer.
|
I am home. I think my cat missed me. I was away for over 6 hours. Appointment was interesting and came away with a med prescription. I went to 8 different places and have walked a lot. Went to caffe nero to treat myself for surviving appointment. The card machines were down so it was quiet for a change.
|
Well done insig :)
|
Hey all,
Sorry things are hard Beckie, can we help at all? Tamo - exciting!! I work in a vets and we see all sorts, I saw a paceman frog today! I contacted the counselling we can get through work, VERY unhelpful :( |
Hi Ahimsa, sorry the counselling service were unhelpful. Well done for approaching them.
|
Well!
They're 24hr support, last time I contacted them I was in a crisis and gave them the wrong number to call me back on by accident. I called again the next day to chase it (I was waiting on a callback) and they told me. But they also said I'm too complex for them. I spoke to my director who's also a mental health first aider (so am I) and she said maybe so, but I can still have my 6 sessions and to book them in now before my BAD week of anniversaries. So I called today (its taken a month for me to actually prioritise this) and they said they can only book on the day and see when someone is free. It may be at the time I call, it may be 4 or 5 hours later, if there are any slots left. So that doesn't work with my different shifts each week. I work a 9 hour shift between 7:30am and 9pm. I could call at 7am and be told there's nothing til 3 and thats it. If my lunchbreak is at 1, thats no good to me. If I have something pre-booked I can make sure I'm available. |
That sounds incredibly frustrating Ahimsa. I know some EAP 's (Employee Assistance Programmes) will refer you to an independent counsellor for the 6 sessions, you could see if that is an option? Or you could ask your director the help advocate you / find out if that is how it is meant to work.
I had a nap which helped lift my low a little bit. |
