Also I assume you know from your guinea pig facebook groups but just in case - make sure you check there to see which P@H stuff is actually guinea pig safe! They sell loads of stuff that is unsuitable for chinchillas :eyeroll:

Hello all. I had my flu jab today. Apart from a sore arm I am ok. It's been wet and cold here most of the day.

L did bring the wrapping stuff but unfortunately not my sister's presents so I'll have to do them tomorrow.

Pippin has woken up and chosen violence.

I survived the shop! It was busy but not too bad and the petrol station is no longer a big scary unknown. And I have mozzarella sticks.

I've had a non-vegan cake jar thingy from m&s before. Very sweet! Must try to look out for the dough balls when I'm there next.

Dang Jenna. When i have a Dream about something that feels immensely real life-ish, i always become so damn confused when it doesn't match up with reality. Often i also can't remember whether i've actually told people about something or just dreamt i told them… i am old and confusion is a legit thing!!!

It took me ages to find a pudding in Tesco that wasn't use by the 25th. I got chocolates for my brother but also the same ones for me so I won't eat his. I'm terrible with having treats/snacks in the house so I try to buy only a very small snack for the day but not this time!

So I've read all the replies and def sniggered at 'special sausage'.

I mainly replied because I need to ask Beckie if her brother works in a town beginning with H because I have a friend in that exact job, she's doing her PhD, and now I need to know if she knows your brother

I have been to the city. It wasn't too packed thankfully so didn't get too stressed. The charity shop was closed so couldn't donate my stuff but I managed to get to m&s. I got what I wanted from there so I count it as an mostly successful trip.

I'm not sure if it's good or not to be honest! I don't "have" to see family I suppose but feel obliged to, so I'm going home for Christmas day and boxing day to see my parents and am undecided about going back over new year to see my sister. Can't decide whether it's worth all the travel or not but it would break up the time a bit.
