I'm a bit stressed out but ok. My brother and sister came to see me which was a lovely surprise.
|
Sorry that you're stressed tamobhuuta. Hope you enjoyed your visit.
I have got my cats medicine now comes the hard part of giving it to her. She probably won't talk to me for a while afterwards. |
The weather is awful here right now. Very wet and windy. I am not going outside today if I can help it.
|
Same weather here.
|
Hi everyone.
Do you wrap the antibiotic in something like the pill pocket meal things, Dawn? Crookshanks takes his meds no bother if I use that. I hope your cat is better soon. The weather here is wet and windy too, there's a weather warning. Hoping my bin won't tip over when I put it out. It's the general waste bin though so it's heavier than the others. I hope work is going well, Beckie. I'm sorry you're stressed, Tamo. I hope you can work through it safely. I'm glad you had a nice surprise visit :-) |
She doesn't like them Lindsay plus her eating is a bit dodgy lately so probably wouldn't eat them anyway.
|
Are you managing to give her them just as they are then?
|
She's had only one dose so far but I managed it ok.
|
How has your day been osc?
|
How many doses will she need, Dawn? I hope she continues to take them.
I don't really have words to describe how my day has been. How has your day been, Tamo? |
She has a tablet twice a day for the next 5 days Lindsay.
My electricity keeps on going off for a second. Enough to knock my tv box off which is making it impossible to watch TV. |
Hey guys!
Just home. Very wet and windy walk home! And dark! |
Mostly quiet, just one short incident.
|
Morning everyone!
|
Morning Beckie :)
How are you? |
Morning guys, how are you?
|
Yo!
I'm ok thanks! Been out this morning and now decided to binge watch doctor who for the rest of the day! Its been raining all morning! How are you guys? |
Classic or new?
|
New!
I do like classic who as well though. Even though the daleks are more hilarious than scary in the orginal lol! |
One of the reasons why I got britbox was because of classic Doctor Who. Oh and Hyacinth even though I have several dvds.
|
I find most old shows quite boring so britbox isn't for me!
It's good you enjoy it though! |
Yes even though I have access to all the paid for streaming services (except for discovery plus and paramount) I tend to watch britbox the most.
|
I'm tempted to subscribe to britbox just for A Bit of Fry and Laurie.
|
Love a bit of fry and laurie!
I was thinking about getting paramount + for a bit just so i can binge watch nurse jackie! |
I dont know if the offer is still on but walkers were doing a free trial of paramount with purchase of their crisps.
|
Oooh I'll have to have a look!
|
You mentioned Nurse Jackie! *cries* That ending!!!
|
I knoooow!!!
Heart breaking! |
Nurse Jackie is such a good show. I wouldn't watch it again though. I can usually only watch things once and move on to something else. I know you watch things you've already seen.
|
It is a good show!
Yeah i do watch things again. Apparently it's quite common for people with anxiety to re watch things! I don't have anxiety but still interesting! |
I rewatch tv programmes. If I really like it I get it on dvd if it's available.
|
I don't have anything capable of playing dvds!
|
I never get tired of watching Inspector Morse, Midsomer Murders, Poirot and everything like that :D
|
I find midsomer murders hilarious.
Honestly don't know why people continue to live there with people being murdered on such a regular basis! However, i have lived in small villages that were very 'hot fuzz' |
I have lots of retro tech in my flat. Dvd players, personal cassette player, personal cd players and a record player. Oh and a vhs cassette tape player plus an ipod classic.
|
Wow!
I think having all that would annoy me! I dislike having lots of things! |
Tbf one of the dvd players is attached to the telly. The other is a portable one. I got it when I thought I was going IP because the signal is ***** in my local ip unit and there was no WiFi at the time.
|
Ah fair enough!
My local hospital has wifi. It does cut out a lot which is annoying but you just have to disconnect and reconnect. So not horrific! |
Mine has it now though. Fortunately I havent been IP since its installed. I have used it though because my cmht is based in the local hospital.
|
Ah ok!
All NHS buildings here use the same wifi so mine usually just automatically connects when i go to any NHS building! |
Hospital wifi can be annoying but also a saviour.
|
Especially these days *nods*
|
What are you doing this evening, Dawn?
|
Definitely a saviour!
In the US, they can't have ANY electronics in their psych hospitals! Sometimes they can't even wear their own clothes! |
I would crack up further if that happened here!
|
Same!
I'd go crazy if i didn't have my phone or ipad! |
But how the hell do you plan a great escape or a take over of the world if they won't even let you have a phone???!!? Surely, that is a major breach of your human Rights???!!
|
Exactly!
Idk how they get away with it tbh Must be SO boring! Taekwando time! |
Yeah. In Denmark they let you keep your phone. And most of your stuff that you bring along. Except for nail clippers. Apparently they count as a lethal weapon. Inspiration can come from even the most unexpected places…. *evil laughter*
|
People can be very creative in hospital!
I'm doing my next taekwando grading next Thursday!!! Eeeek! |
All times are GMT +1. The time now is 09:43 AM. |
