Don't diss furbies they are tiny legends!!

Voldemort 27-11-2016 07:54 PM

They had their moments.

Sketchy 27-11-2016 07:57 PM

Are furbies the little furry toys that spoke random things? They were creepy.

Sketchy 27-11-2016 07:58 PM

Thankfully I was too old for them

Voldemort 27-11-2016 07:59 PM

Yeah, they blinked and ate and stuff.

Cacoethes 27-11-2016 08:00 PM

I don't think my mum would thank me if I bought Jasmine a furby! Or any noisy thing tbh!

Voldemort 27-11-2016 08:01 PM

Why not get her an easel?

Buttons. 27-11-2016 08:12 PM

^ cos nails scratching across a board is less annoying :P

you could keep it for when you're annoyed with your mum-when my mum was mad at one of the family she bought the kids all the noisest toys she could find for Xmas including but not limited to a voice changer and a football whistle :P

Sketchy 27-11-2016 08:17 PM

An easel is a lovely idea if she likes to paint

Buttons. 27-11-2016 08:19 PM

Painting is always fun :)

Sketchy 27-11-2016 08:20 PM

As an arty person I have to strongly agree. I love painting at my easel.

Voldemort 27-11-2016 08:20 PM

Yeah, she's about the right age for an easel too if she enjoys art.

I'm not great at art but do enjoy painting, collage etc it may be crap but it's an outlet :)

Buttons. 27-11-2016 08:25 PM

This topic reminds me of Princess Diaries film where Mia and her 'mom' filled balloons with paint and threw darts at them. I'm probably a weirdo.

Voldemort 27-11-2016 08:25 PM

I'm not keen on art, I prefer to write.

Sketchy 27-11-2016 08:25 PM

Don't be so hard on yourself. I'm sure you do good stuff. As you say , enjoying it as an outlet is goid.

Sketchy 27-11-2016 08:26 PM

What kind of things do you write? I like to write poetry and combine it with my art.

I like both but writing comes more naturally to me.

Thanks lovely.

Voldemort 27-11-2016 08:29 PM

Writing definitely comes more naturally to me.

Cacoethes 27-11-2016 08:38 PM

I used to love drawing and painting. They let me do it all the time in the adolescent units because it was the only thing that actually engaged me.
I haven't drawn anything in a while though. I'm sure it's down to my meds that I have a complete lack of creativity now!

Yeah think mine have affected creativity as well.

Buttons. 27-11-2016 08:48 PM

Ah well we can just enjoy other peoples' creativity :P

Voldemort 27-11-2016 09:00 PM

I'm halfway through a novel and I haven't worked on it for ages.

Cacoethes 27-11-2016 09:38 PM

What's it about?

Good news. I am no longer feeling sick!!

Voldemort 27-11-2016 09:45 PM

Oh it's kind of hard to explain without giving the story away. It's not very good anyway.

Cacoethes 27-11-2016 09:49 PM

I'm sure it's better than you think it is!I
I know people who are brilliant and writing or drawing and they always think their work isn't very good when it really is!

Voldemort 27-11-2016 09:54 PM

I can put up the first chapter in the creative forum if you fancy reading it?

Cacoethes 27-11-2016 09:57 PM

I'd love to read it! :)

Voldemort 27-11-2016 09:58 PM

Ok. I'll put up the first chapter now.

Voldemort 27-11-2016 10:02 PM

Ok, I've posted it. There's a graphic sh bit though so be careful.

Sketchy 27-11-2016 10:48 PM

I've just read it. I'll reply to it.

Sketchy 27-11-2016 10:51 PM

Just replied on the creative thread.

Voldemort 27-11-2016 10:56 PM

Thank you!

Sketchy 27-11-2016 11:00 PM

It was well written .

Voldemort 27-11-2016 11:10 PM

Thanks. I've got about 50,000 words of it. I just need to motivate myself to finish it.

HopeRises 27-11-2016 11:23 PM

*goes to read it*

Voldemort 27-11-2016 11:44 PM

I want Ritzi to be out of the shower now.

Buttons. 28-11-2016 12:12 PM

Morning all :)

Cacoethes 28-11-2016 03:04 PM

Hi guys!
Had a busy morning. Job interview then clozapine clinic. Although the clinic didn't have my meds so one of the nurses is going to drop them off later.

I read the first chapter Amy, it's really good! I'd love to read more when you're done!

Sketchy 28-11-2016 03:05 PM

How did the interview go?

Cacoethes 28-11-2016 03:22 PM

It was ok thanks. Not sure of my chances but I'll hear by the end of the week.

How are you?

Sketchy 28-11-2016 03:25 PM

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you.

I'm ok. In the local coffee shop waiting on my dad. I just had a toastie, which I seem to post about quite a lot. Having a cup of tea and sketching while I wait, since he will be an hour.

Cacoethes 28-11-2016 03:55 PM

Thanks Lorraine :)

What kind of toastie did you have?
Sounds nice, tea and sketching :)

Sketchy 28-11-2016 04:12 PM

Cheese and tomato. Yummy.

Buttons. 28-11-2016 04:17 PM

Hope the interview leads to good things, thinking of you aardvark queen <3

Sounds lovely about the toastie, tea and sketching etc :)

Cacoethes 28-11-2016 04:24 PM

Cheese toasties are the best!
My local cafe does cheese and marmite toasties and they are amazing!

Thank you my dear Katy!
