No i was going to my mum's.
Only spent a short time there because jasmine didn't want to do anything because it's too hot and she and my step dad were going to the pub anyway for some music thing. So it was a quick visit! Mostly just chatted to mum.
Waiting for the bus home.
Then gonna go to sainsburys.

It is way too hot. I've just walked back from sainsburys (only a mile but it felt like much more in this heat)

Have you been busy today?

A little, or busier than I thought I might be. Worked a couple of hours this morning, then seeing as I was back early I harvested some potatoes and picked some french beans which have now been blanched and frozen and done a couple of other life admin things, bit of washing up etc etc. Watching the Harry Potter channel on Now... now.

Was it nice seeing Jasmine albeit briefly?

Yeah it was ok. She was a bit fed up because of the heat and i am very emotional so not a great day overall

I'm ok. My room was too hot again so I slept downstairs. I woke up early so I'm ahead of myself. I've got a friend coming round later so i need the house to look presentable.

Do you like reading? Watching TV? Doing puzzles? I would suggest a walk but maybe not in this heat! Though you could take a bottle of water.

It's a series (and also a movie) about a frozen earth and the only survivors are on a train that never stops going round the earth. Different classes of passengers. There's a murder. Class wars and stuff. I like post apocalyptic type things. I'm hoping the new season will come out soon

I dunno, just been plodding along with stuff. Couple of hours of work this morning and then the usual uninteresting laundry/washing up sort of chores. =/

Managed to put my duvet cover back on with remarkably little drama though, which is a surprise. Small wins, eh? =)

Did anyone get a thunderstorm last night? I did but it didn't really come to much and it's still quite humid today, drizzling a bit.

I think my brother might have bought me an air fryer. It's very kind of him but right now at least I won't be using it because I'm very low. When I had money I kept buying him the things he wanted or needed. He has more money now but I don't like him spending it on me, he can't have enough to buy an air fryer for me. Now I know what he must have felt like when I kept buying him things.

It's warm but muggy outside, I reckon warmer than predicted. We haven't had a thunderstorm yet. I'm having a cup of tea with my peoples in the garden.

Do you find tea helps to cool you down, Tamo? I know you're supposed to drink hot drinks on hot days.
