Morning everyone.
I hope you can find a way to ease the urges and get rid of them Hazel. They sound hard to manage. The showers in my local ward do that too Beckie. Any way to be less tired, bored, and lonely? |
Hi osc, how are you?
|
I've cleaned the bath! It was mildly filthy... Next onto the sink, I am avoiding doing the toilet
|
So not too long to go then Hazel
I'm not sure lindsay. I'm going to try and watch the rest of the film I started yesterday Just had ward round. I was allowed to leave my room! What a treat! (Ward round is like, the next room down) Well done hazel! |
I have to go to a different gym with my support worker and other service user because our usual gym has a damaged roof because of the wind. I'm feeling anxious about it. Plus my support worker phoned me early when I was still in bed so I ignored it to phone her back. So I was up earlier than 10.15am which is my current target and I'm worried I'll stay in bed past my target time tomorrow because of getting up earlier today.
Keep going Hazel! What film is it Beckie? Going to another room must have been exciting! How did ward round go? You don't need to answer. |
Oh no lindsay! What a disaster!
I hope the other gym is ok It's The Suicide Squad. (The second one) i loved the first one and hadn't got around to seeing this one yet. But I got so tired halfway through it yesterday i had to lie down! Ward round wasn't great. I said about it in my serious thread. Yet another professional only seeing mental illness! |
Cleaning the sink seemingly blocked the sink :ermm:
The Suicide Squad any good? I also loved the first one |
Oh noooo!
I'm only halfway through but I'm enjoying it! |
ok managed to unblock the sink
pro-tip dont leave the cleaning of a sink for so long that the dirt blocks the drain as you are trying to rince it down stupid run away urge is still there :ermm: living room needs tidying, but just looking at it makes me feel overwhelmed so may not be the best of distractions i want to go for a run but A. not sure I can leave the house, and B. but worried that I might end up just running and running until I am silly far away freaking hate my brain Quote:
wow, wind must have been really bad to cause roof damage! Hope the different gym is ok, totally get the anxiety of new places and changes, hopefully it will all be ok though |
It's very windy here still. Been to the vet with my female cat she was very uncooperative. Didnt want to be examined at all.
Am waiting for tesco shopping order to come. |
At least you've managed to unblock it now Hazel!
I'm watching venom |
I had this weird moment of NEEDING to go outside, for the first time in almost a month I got washed and dressed to go out, opened the door, stepped outside... then remembered about the isolation thing...
I live in the middle of nowhere, its almost a mile to the village, but rules are rules I guess fairly upset now and sat in the garden in run kit |

how was the suicide squad? |
I know that if it's the thought of breaking the rules that causes anxiety then this might not help Hazel, but going outside when you're not going to see another human is very different to going outside when you live in the city centre. I don't think anyone could or would fault you if you did go for a run/walk/whatever.
|
Next door neighbours a cop and I already know he's watching me
It's fine I'll just do garden laps, lockdown style. Own fault for catching the damn virus |
I really enjoyed the suicide squad!
I know a lot of people hated it |
Morning everyone
|
Good morning :) how are you?
|
Tired!
You? |
Morning
|
Hey Hazel
How are you? |
I'm ok, waiting to get through to the GP
Hi shadow. :) |
Hope it doesn't take too long!
|
It feels like we've been on hold forever.
|
Hopefully you'll get through soon!
|
I am 14.in the queue.
|
That's mental!
Even when I'm 20+ in the queue in my gp surgery I still get through within 10 mins! |
We started off at 40. We were waiting almost an hour and then it said the call couldn't be connected and to call back later. Frustrated face.
|
What a nightmare
Mine only goes to 20 |
I spoke to my CPN and he said the NHS app has been messing up for loads of people and I am still allowed olanzapine, I just need to ask my GP.
|
Quote:
wow they must have an army of receptionists! |
That's good tamo!
Yes they probably do hazel! Lol |
My surgery makes you fill in a form online and then they phone at some point within 48 hours and tell you if they've decided you need help or not and what kind of help it is. It's much better than phoning and having to wait in a queue.
|
You can do that with mine too lindsay
I just prefer to call for some reason! |
I think you can only call mine if you can't use the internet. You have phone bravery for phoning the surgery, how is that?!
|
I'm much better with phones these days!
I think since I started work and I'm more sociable |
Good morning.
|
Morning tamo
How are you? |
I'm ok. I had a call with the neurologist who said my brain scan was abnormal, even beyond what you would expect with my schizophrenia and meds.
How are you? |
Is there any plan in place?
I'm very tired. Even more so than usual |
Yeah, I need another scan, preferably an MRI, if i feel OK with that. And he's going to increase my lamotrogine
Is a nap an option? |
MRIs aren't too bad. I always get really tired and bored in them
I've been napping on and off all day. Don't really have the energy to sit up for long |
Morning anyone x
|
