I am watching the horsey action this afternoon and trying to avoid the football. Casualty is on dead late tonight because of the football so fingers crossed that it doesn't go into extra time. Unfortunately most of my family are Liverpool football fans so I cant avoid it. I only live a 90 min drive from Liverpool and there's direct trains to Liverpool from my town.

My sister lives in Liverpool. No direct trains from here though! But there is a very long road.

I'm good! Just heading up to some friends for a Christmas dinner together. Mostly happy because I survived the first week of my new job and seemed to mostly make a good impression? Fingers crossed that continues!

Also in the office gift exchange thing (kind of like a secret santa but we didn't have a nominated person) I got socks with LLAMAS on. I'm wearing them now :D

In the end I managed to find something for £2 for fhe remainder of the £5 budget for my friends too - it's a mug that says "I live for Fridays". I figure that as the other half of the gift is coasters that makes sense!

I like the Muppets Christmas Carol too. I'm watching E.T. now though because after seeing the Sky adverts with E.T. returning to see old Elliott I realised I have not watched it in forever.

I'm not taking any extra days off over Christmas, but I get Christmas Day, Boxing Day and NYD off anyway as well as weekends so compared to my years working retail it's luxurious!

I didn't like ET as a kid. I am unlikely to watch it as an adult because of my mh problems. I know that it will trigger it off so I try and avoid triggers.

I won't give a running commentary of what's happening then.

I have seen it before so dont worry nonperson. I can cope with reading about it just watching it is a different matter.
