Urgh maths. Yuck! It will be good to get it over with though.

Cacoethes 15-03-2017 05:20 PM

Yup!! I'll need to do it at some point!

Sketchy 15-03-2017 05:42 PM

It's no good. I need another tea before I brave the shop. Think I'll sketch for a bit.

Cacoethes 15-03-2017 05:53 PM

Shopping can be very stressful. Take all the time you need! Sketching sounds like a good plan

Sketchy 15-03-2017 05:55 PM

I'll have the do it. I really need to buy food. I'm buying healthy food now that I'm trying to lose weight. I'll need to buy more apples.

Cacoethes 15-03-2017 06:12 PM

That's good!
I bought a load of fruit today. Gonna take some to college tomorrow because I always get hungry after class!
Need to get a bottle of water for clubbercise too.

Sketchy 15-03-2017 06:45 PM

You looking forward to clubbercise? It sounds like fun.

I've been to the shop and got what I needed, including more apples. Pink lady ones. Yum!

Cacoethes 15-03-2017 06:49 PM

I am! It is good fun. I'm going to go to zumba gold the next day too (friday)
It's the same instructor and she is really nice so I feel comfortable going.

That's good Lorraine! Pink lady apples are nice!

Sketchy 15-03-2017 06:57 PM

That's great. You've actually inspired me to do more exercise (walking though), so thank you.

Cacoethes 15-03-2017 07:08 PM

Glad I could help!
I'm so determined to get healthy!
I've spent so long eating junk and smoking and not exercising and it never helped, so time for a change!

chinahorse 15-03-2017 07:21 PM

Evening all :)

I'm too lazy to read anything sorry!

not_so_insig 15-03-2017 07:28 PM

I am tempted to go to slimming world because of your efforts Beckie. There's one in the next village which is only a 8 min walk which means that I don't have to rely on buses etc.

Sketchy 15-03-2017 07:29 PM

Hello Lillie and Dawn.

chinahorse 15-03-2017 07:32 PM

Hi lorraine and dawn.

I agree that your efforts are inspiring beckie. There's talk here of a few people joining similar.

Cacoethes 15-03-2017 07:38 PM

Aww I'm so glad I'm helping people!
It really is worth it!

How is everyone this evening?

Sketchy 15-03-2017 07:42 PM

I'm ok. Getting ready to curl up with Netflix. I'm having a quiet evening and an early night so I get up tomorrow for another walk.

Cacoethes 15-03-2017 07:46 PM

Sounds like a good plan.

I'm really tired for some reason.

Sketchy 15-03-2017 07:47 PM

I hope you get some rest. Did you get your maths homework done?

Cacoethes 15-03-2017 07:54 PM

I tried but I couldn't understand it.
I couldn't concentrate in my last lesson at all (probably because I forgot breakfast) so nothing went in!
I'm sure she'll be able to explain it to me tomorrow though.

Sketchy 15-03-2017 07:58 PM

That's good that she'll explain it. Maybe you just need a rest today and to start afresh tomorrow. It will probably all make sense tomorrow.

Cacoethes 15-03-2017 08:06 PM

Hopefully.
Things do usually make more sense in class.
And I'll make sure to eat breakfast in the morning this time!!

not_so_insig 15-03-2017 08:24 PM

I have a eye test tomorrow afternoon. I am being prepared to be told that I need new glasses.

Cacoethes 15-03-2017 08:32 PM

I hate eye tests. I hate having someone so close to my face! It's awkward!
I got new glasses recently which I really needed because I couldn't see the bus numbers from the stop at college!

chinahorse 15-03-2017 08:34 PM

Always have breakfast before trying to concentrate and hopefully you'll understand it with fresh eyes tomorrow.

New glasses are exciting dawn!

Wonderland. 15-03-2017 08:55 PM

Beckie does your opticians not have all the computerized kinda stuff? I switched mine years back as I hated having this creepy old dude breathing all up in my face. Most chain places like specsavers etc don't get up in your face much. It's mostly technology nowadays, which is a major win for me!

Cacoethes 15-03-2017 09:13 PM

Well definitely eat a good breakfast tomorrow!

I go to specsavers and it is all computerised but they still have to lean in and change the glass things which is a little too close for my liking!
Plus that '1 or 2' business is frustrating!
Oh well! I think i'm good for a while glasses-wise!

not_so_insig 15-03-2017 09:16 PM

I am going to boots so fingers crossed that someone doesn't get too close! I hate it when they put your head in the brace thing.

Cacoethes 15-03-2017 09:24 PM

Yeah its horrible!
I quite like specsavers. And I got my glasses for free which is always a bonus!

[Luna] 15-03-2017 10:18 PM

Good evening!

not_so_insig 15-03-2017 11:53 PM

Hi there!

chinahorse 16-03-2017 09:20 AM

Morning all :)

Buttons. 16-03-2017 10:03 AM

Morning how you doing?

Cacoethes 16-03-2017 10:16 AM

Morning guys!!

Kinda want a cigarette but I will stay strong! I don't have any anyway :p
I bought a budget fitbit online (it's not an actual fitbit because they're like £100) but it still has good reviews and does the same stuff and it's purple!! :-D

Buttons. 16-03-2017 10:41 AM

Stay strong Beckie, I've reduced my smoking with patches although not given up completely, know it's a bit of a sterotype but it gets better with time.

The fitbit sounds positive :)

Cacoethes 16-03-2017 11:10 AM

Thanks Katy :)
I've heard day 3 is the worst!

Well done for cutting down! Your lungs will thank you for it!!

chinahorse 16-03-2017 11:39 AM

Well done to the both of you!

I don't get the obsession some people have with their fit bits. Seems a bit odd to me.

Cacoethes 16-03-2017 12:13 PM

Thanks Lillie!

Some people get really obsessed with them but I just want to use it for steps and heart rate monitor really. And the time!
I think it will motivate me to be more active.
I would never spend over £100 for one though!

chinahorse 16-03-2017 12:23 PM

I know I suppose if you were training for something it'd be worth it.

What's everyone up to today? I have my scary review.

Cacoethes 16-03-2017 12:30 PM

I'm hoping to do a 5k this year so we shall see!

Maths class is starting in a minute. Reeealllyy don't want to be here! I'd rather go shopping :p

Good luck with your review Lillie!

Wonderland. 16-03-2017 12:37 PM

Bex there is some really good 5k apps that build you up nice and slowly. I've got one on my phone and it's brill!

Hope the review goes okay Lillie <3

I'm still waiting for the gas men to come and fix my boiler. Woe. The housing association are going to get another phone call before long!!

chinahorse 16-03-2017 12:42 PM

Yeah isn't there a couch to 5k app?

Hope maths is ok beckie and you can understand it

How long has it been with the boiler?

Thanks guys I'm nervous.

Wonderland. 16-03-2017 12:50 PM

Theres a number of different couch to 5k type apps out there.

I think it's natural to be nervous lovely. The unknown is scary, but you are strong enough to deal with whatever happens, and we are all here for you!

My housing association said to ring back at 1.30 if they haven't turned up by then, as that will be 24 hours since I first rang. It's not looking very likely, and I've already given them a second nudge over an hour ago! I just want a nice warm shower.

chinahorse 16-03-2017 01:37 PM

Eek that is terrible to leave you without hot water! Know that feeling of wanting a nice hot shower. Haven't had one since forever ago.

Thanks lovelies. It's just daunting a room full of people all talking about me.

Wonderland. 16-03-2017 01:49 PM

At least it's warm weather! I wish we were allowed to call our own repair people out, would make life so much easier.

Can they not give you a shower chair?

You'll get used to reviews and stuff lovely. I remember when I first had ward rounds they were horrid and I couldn't deal with them, but after a while I got used to them and would be able to stay calm and assertive in them.

chinahorse 16-03-2017 01:56 PM

Yeah that's a point. Be much worse if it were the depths of winter!

It's that I can't get my whole leg wet rn because my donor site still hasn't healed.

Wonderland. 16-03-2017 02:04 PM

You can get shower proof dressings. One of the units I was in used to use them all the time with me when it was summer, as it was an old building so it was boiling in the summer. So I'd shower like twice a day because it was so hot and sticky in there. No point changing normal dressings multiple times a day!

Cacoethes 16-03-2017 04:08 PM

Hey guys!

I'll look for one of those couch to 5k apps. That would be ideal!

Have you had your meeting yet Lillie?

That's annoying amy!
A few years ago I was without hot water or heating for about 2 weeks and that was when we had all the really heavy snow. I had to try and make a bath by boiling the kettle a million times!!

not_so_insig 16-03-2017 05:00 PM

I have been for my eye test. My eyesight has changed so I had to buy new glasses. Apparently I have astigmatism.

Sketchy 16-03-2017 05:07 PM

Did you get to pick nice new ones Dawn?

Hello everyone.

Cacoethes 16-03-2017 05:21 PM

Hey Lorraine. How are you?
