tamobhuuta 10-05-2019 03:57 PM

I hope they make the best decision for you Cacoethes.

Cacoethes 10-05-2019 04:00 PM

Thanks tamo

How is everyone this afternoon?

tamobhuuta 10-05-2019 04:02 PM

I am Ok. Looking after my tamagotchi. Just had a cup of tea.

Cacoethes 10-05-2019 04:13 PM

The verdict is no, I can't be discharged.
Ugh.

Sounds good tamo

chinahorse 10-05-2019 05:04 PM

Urgh beckie how rubbish.

Didn't know they still made tamogotchi!

tamobhuuta 10-05-2019 05:19 PM

Sorry about that Cacoethes, I hope they look after you.

Tamagotchis are awesome.

nonperson 10-05-2019 05:24 PM

I had a fake Tamagotchi when I was a teen, maybe they're more hi-tech now than they used to be?

Tamagotchi is also the nickname for my insulin pump because one time at work a student thought I was busy feeding a Tamagotchi when I was actually giving myself a dose of insulin. =P

one_step_closer 10-05-2019 05:24 PM

I hope you get well and get home soon Beckie.

Raise your hand if you had a sign on your bedroom door as a teenager that said 'do not disturb I'm disturbed enough already.'

*raises hand*

Just wondering!

one_step_closer 10-05-2019 05:25 PM

Insulin pumps look like tamagotchis???

tamobhuuta 10-05-2019 05:32 PM

*Googles insulin pumps*

one_step_closer 10-05-2019 05:35 PM

*also Googles*

Is something permanently attached to you for an insulin pump?

nonperson 10-05-2019 05:51 PM

Well they're quite a bit bigger than Tamagotchis but it does beep at me occasionally when it wants something!

Yup, a teeny tiny soft needle goes into my skin which is attached to a tube that goes to the pump. I have to move it around every three days.

Also the sign on my door said "Do Not Distub" which I am still mocked for to this day.

Cacoethes 10-05-2019 06:00 PM

Thanks guys

Lol do not distub!! :p

nonperson 10-05-2019 06:04 PM

Don't you start on me too, Beckie. =P

tamobhuuta 10-05-2019 06:19 PM

Hope you don't mind me asking Cacoethes but have you been told you've been sectioned?

Eska 10-05-2019 06:28 PM

I just persuaded myself to log onto the supermarket's website and finish my shopping and it's just gone down! Argh!

tamobhuuta 10-05-2019 06:29 PM

Oh no!!!

nonperson 10-05-2019 06:34 PM

Argh that is annoying. Maybe it will have saved your shopping basket? =/

zombiehunter 10-05-2019 06:49 PM

My Rob Zombie tickets arrived today :-D \m/

Eska 10-05-2019 06:50 PM

It's back up and my shopping was saved :)

Zombie I have no idea who that is but I'm happy for you!

nonperson 10-05-2019 06:51 PM

Rob Zombie! =o

Glad your shopping was saved, Eska!

zombiehunter 10-05-2019 07:14 PM

Cacoethes 10-05-2019 07:21 PM

Thats cool zombie!

Glad your shopping was saved!

I think the extra meds are starting to kick in because I feel sleepy

nonperson 10-05-2019 07:22 PM

Haven't heard that song for aaaaages.

Very early to bed tonight then?

Cacoethes 10-05-2019 07:28 PM

I hope so!
I'd get into bed now but my hair is wet and it'll dry funny if I sleep with it wet

not_so_insig 10-05-2019 07:29 PM

Found out (thanks to the local news) that the clock is now chiming. It hasn't chimed since 2007. I am just glad that I am far away enough from it not to hear it.

nonperson 10-05-2019 07:31 PM

That's cool and good you can't hear it, Dawn.

Beckie, get into bed and sit upright with your eyes closed until it dries? =)

nonperson 10-05-2019 07:40 PM

Ahh, I'm hungry. Someone cook me some dinner? =/

chinahorse 10-05-2019 07:43 PM

I want dinner too. I had 2 sandwiches and some biscuits and am starving.

nonperson 10-05-2019 07:45 PM

I had a Ripple earlier but have had a cat on my lap since then so I can't mooove.

...I might have to eat him.

Cacoethes 10-05-2019 07:50 PM

Thats good dawn

I'm in bed chilling until my hair dries.
Got to stay awake anyway for meds later

I would totally cook everyone dinner if I could!
My speciality is jambalaya

Eating cats is not recommended np

tamobhuuta 10-05-2019 07:50 PM

Ooo I haven't had a Ripple in years.

Dinner is an important meal people!

nonperson 10-05-2019 07:51 PM

Oooo, I think my mum made that a few times very long time ago. I don't remember hating it... but also don't really remember what was in it. >.>

chinahorse 10-05-2019 07:52 PM

I have like 0 idea what that is either!

nonperson 10-05-2019 07:58 PM

It makes me think of Mrs Doubtfire! Because Stuart orders Jambalaya but without one of the ingredients because he's allergic.

I'm also thinking it has prawns in it?

Cacoethes 10-05-2019 08:14 PM

It's a rice dish.
It can have prawns in it, I do mine with chicken and quorn sausages though.
Its a slimming world recipe!
So tasty.
And it makes loads so plenty to share around!

nonperson 10-05-2019 08:17 PM

Sounds like you've just invited us all round for a RYL dinner party. ;)

tamobhuuta 10-05-2019 08:18 PM

You know what i fancy? Chips and gravy.

nonperson 10-05-2019 08:20 PM

That's proper comfort food right there. =o

Cacoethes 10-05-2019 08:23 PM

An ryl dinner party could be cool :p

Chips and gravy is lush
Gotta have some cheese on there top though!

nonperson 10-05-2019 08:27 PM

Cheese and gravy?!?!?

tamobhuuta 10-05-2019 08:28 PM

No, no cheese

Cacoethes 10-05-2019 08:36 PM

Cheese goes with everything!!

Got to put phone on charge now
Good night guys!
Sleep well

tamobhuuta 10-05-2019 08:42 PM

Night

nonperson 10-05-2019 08:44 PM

Night night, Beckie.

I'm all for weird food combinations but I'm really not sure cheese goes with gravy.

chinahorse 10-05-2019 09:20 PM

Omg cheesy chips with gravy is the best!

I'm free! Waiting for my friend to come get me and take me home.

tamobhuuta 10-05-2019 09:23 PM

Are you feeling better?

chinahorse 10-05-2019 09:31 PM

Tired but a lot better than I was. It's been a very long day.

tamobhuuta 10-05-2019 09:33 PM

Can you look after yourself this evening?

nonperson 10-05-2019 10:01 PM

Good to hear you're feeling better, Lillie. =)
