not_so_insig 11-04-2019 04:35 PM

I dont know Beckie but I have been getting bored with life lately.

Cacoethes 11-04-2019 04:36 PM

I need a job
Or something

Buttons. 11-04-2019 05:11 PM

Is there anywhere you could volunteer Beckie?

Evening all.

Cacoethes 11-04-2019 05:15 PM

Possibly!
I have thought about trying the charity shops but I have MAJOR anxiety with handling money
I think the library are looking for people so I'll go and find out!

Hellooo

chinahorse 11-04-2019 05:16 PM

Evening buttons.

Cacoethes 11-04-2019 05:17 PM

Hey Lillie
How are you?

Eska 11-04-2019 05:19 PM

Hiya people

Library sounds good, Beckie, I can definitely see that suiting you!

How's your day been, Buttons?

How are you doing, Lillie?

chinahorse 11-04-2019 05:19 PM

Once I volunteered in a charity shop and just steamed the clothes in the back-still helping but no scary money! Library sounds good as well :) Plus any volunteer work is going to look good on your CV.

Buttons. 11-04-2019 05:21 PM

Oh hi Eska sorry didn't spot you there! How are you?

My day has been good, went to group was good fun and support worker helped get a lot done house-wise.

not_so_insig 11-04-2019 05:24 PM

That's good Buttons.

Cacoethes 11-04-2019 05:25 PM

I'll try with the library then
And that's a good idea buttons
Just remembered that I used to volunteer and just tagged and priced stuff in the back which suited me fine!

Sorry you're feeling meh Lillie
Anything we can do to help?

Glad you had a good day Buttons!

not_so_insig 11-04-2019 05:28 PM

I can hear an ice cream van *shakes head*

Buttons. 11-04-2019 05:32 PM

Let us know how you get on with the library. And of course it's a good idea-I'm FULL of good ideas!

*hugs Lillie gently*

We had an icecream van in sodding Winter Dawn, it's annoying isn't it!

not_so_insig 11-04-2019 05:35 PM

Yes I know it's sunny here but definitely not ice cream weather. It will probably go to the park next week as the kids break up tomorrow.

chinahorse 11-04-2019 05:38 PM

It's not warm enough for ice cream vans yet!

Buttons. 11-04-2019 05:39 PM

Agreed with both of you!

Cacoethes 11-04-2019 05:39 PM

I saw an ice cream van a few weeks ago!!

chinahorse 11-04-2019 06:09 PM

There are vans that live permenantly by the seafront near me.

Cacoethes 11-04-2019 06:12 PM

They can't get much business at this time of year!

chinahorse 11-04-2019 06:23 PM

They must get some or they wouldn't be there!

chinahorse 11-04-2019 06:27 PM

What's everyone having for dinner then?

Cacoethes 11-04-2019 06:29 PM

True!

I had chicken, chips and veg
I use these herb paper things for the chicken and its soooo good!

What are you having Lillie?

chinahorse 11-04-2019 06:36 PM

Herb paper things?! Glad it was nice.

I've had some toast.

Cacoethes 11-04-2019 06:39 PM

By Maggi i think
Its like baking paper with italian herbs on and you wrap the chicken in it and cook it in a frying pan 10 mins on each side

Did you have anything on the toast?

chinahorse 11-04-2019 06:45 PM

Oh that makes sense.

Butter

not_so_insig 11-04-2019 06:45 PM

I had jacket potato and beans for tea. Complete with gin and lemonade.

Cacoethes 11-04-2019 06:48 PM

I miss toast

Sounds good dawn

one_step_closer 11-04-2019 06:59 PM

I had those chicken sheet things tonight and last night too. Maggi So Tender. I like the garlic ones.

Cacoethes 11-04-2019 07:00 PM

I haven't tried the garlic ones
Will have to because I love garlic!

Buttons. 11-04-2019 07:01 PM

The sheet things sound ace, especially garlic (EVERYTHING can be improved by garlic :P)

I had quite a big lunch so am waiting a bit before I have my tea, have had a snack though (why oh why do I buy cocktail sausages in???)

Cacoethes 11-04-2019 07:05 PM

I looovvee cocktail sausages!!

chinahorse 11-04-2019 07:07 PM

Garlic is amazing.

Cacoethes 11-04-2019 07:11 PM

Yes garlic is amazing!

I would do Buttons
That is why I don't buy them!

chinahorse 11-04-2019 07:13 PM

The quorn ones are good

Stellata 11-04-2019 07:17 PM

I have mushroom stroganoff.

Hi everyone.

Sainsbury's was fairly ok, thanks to those who asked.

I'm bored too but restless legs are restless.

Cacoethes 11-04-2019 07:18 PM

I like quorn stuff

Mushroom stroganoff sounds good!

Restless legs are annoying

Stellata 11-04-2019 07:19 PM

I like quorn too.

It is nice. I try to vary things.

They are indeed. It's my meds...

chinahorse 11-04-2019 07:22 PM

Eeww mushrooms.

I get them cos of the fibromyalgia sometime stellata. They're horrible.

Buttons. 11-04-2019 07:24 PM

Glad Sainsburys went okay Katie. Hope your legs settle for you lovely, I don't know much about restless legs.

In other news I am totally not watching Joseph's technicolour dream coat on Netflix and singing (with a bit too much enthusiasm) along :P What's evveryone else up to?

Cacoethes 11-04-2019 07:24 PM

Variation is good
I mostly eat the same things these days
Should vary it really!

I used to get them a lot due to meds
They are awful

I've never seen it buttons!!
Im still watching GoT

Finally a fellow mushroom hater!

Stellata 11-04-2019 07:27 PM

Sorry others have/had restless legs too. They are no fun! They're reviewing my meds but I'm waiting forever!

Sounds like a good singalong, Buttons!

Buttons. 11-04-2019 07:29 PM

Hope the reviewed meds help.

Is an epic sing along. Wonder if a neighbour has ever made a noise complaint about someone overenthusiastically singing show tunes :P

Cacoethes 11-04-2019 07:30 PM

I think I'd make a complaint if my neighbour was loudly singing show tunes :p

You do realise now that I know that, when you come down in November I'm going to be singing show tunes all night. Loudly.

Stellata 11-04-2019 07:35 PM

When I had a housemate who was heavily into Andrew Lloyd Webber there were no neighbours only the school where we both worked! He would have them on at full volume every evening and weekend! Thankfully I like Lloyd Webber but it did get a bit much!

Cacoethes 11-04-2019 07:37 PM

Don't you dare!!

I can imagine Katie!!
