I'm awake as well... blinking hospital wards making it difficult to sleep! I'm doing ok though.

Yep. But I have a bed by a window so it could be worse! Even if the view is of ugly hospital buildings.

At least it's not one of those windowless rooms where you don't know if it's day or night.

Exactly. It's a big window too! Definitely a relief after 10 hours in an A&E cubicle yesterday. The clouds are moving super fast today.

I'm a bit blargh but will be fine. Always am. Waiting until it's an acceptable time to put the washing machine on and that.

Plus two hours in the waiting room beforehand an an hour on the assessment unit afterwards - it's definitely one way to make you glad to have a bed!

It is so windy here too that it's hard to walk and breathe! Walking to town was interesting.

A lazy day sounds good! We all need them. I'm distracting myself with episodes of masterchef and catching up on the rugby (popular choices around here I know :P - I might move on to Holby City later, if that's any better?)

I bought birthday, mothers day and anot her birthday gift. A water bottle and some food that I'm munching my way through. Also browsed round some shops.

Lillie Lush is so good! Although I find the actual stores kind of difficult because they’re like an assault on the senses and the assistants approach you so much. Love the products though so I end up going anyway.
