New phones are exciting. :) I don't have a contract, just pay as you go so I don't get new phones often but it suits me anyway.

I'll probably be reading and watching TV for the rest of the evening I think. Do you have much to occupy you?

I have a Huawei P20 now, Lillie. Made the jump and switched to an Android phone... it's ok I suppose, but maybe not as slick as my iPhone but at least the battery doesn't fall from 100% to 1% in minutes.

It was fine to start with but I think as the phone got older and more and more system updates came out it just couldn't cope any more!

I'll get used to the new one eventually. This is it's first week of proper use so I should give it a chance before convincing myself I've made a big mistake. =P

Yeah and there was that whole thing about Apple intentionally slowing down the older phones so people would be forced to buy new ones

They said they did it to optimise the battery life of the older phones... which does make sense but it was all a bit backhand, I think!

We're having near tropical double digits over night tonight - 11 degrees!

I don't mind the cold when I'm inside sitting by the coal fire, I hate being out in the cold. Probably why I spend of my time at home in my cozy pyjamas.
