What's a chilli dog?

zombiehunter 10-01-2019 08:21 PM

a hot dog with chilli on it

in this case its my home made chilli :-D

not_so_insig 10-01-2019 10:33 PM

I had my pizza. A bargain 95p! Was rather yummy and worth paying the full price.

I have had my parcel. It came at 7 pm. I am expecting another parcel tomorrow hopefully this one will come earlier. Then probably not as it is coming via yodel and they always deliver dead late which is a problem as I am going out at 5 pm.

one_step_closer 11-01-2019 02:58 PM

Hello, hello.

nonperson 11-01-2019 04:08 PM

Is your voice echoing in here?

nonperson 11-01-2019 07:01 PM

Oh no, Andy Murray's retiring. That's actually pretty sad news. =(

Buttons. 12-01-2019 05:42 PM

Sad for Murray with his injury. He had a good career though!

Afternoon/early evening all. I'm slowly pulling myself out if negativity and depression and clawing my way back to the quality of life I had gained before things went tits up. Had lovely lunch with Mum yesterday and today met an old friend (also now in a wheelchair so that's sad but we must go on) and got introduced to a crafting class if I want to join :)

nonperson 12-01-2019 05:50 PM

Hey Buttons! Yes he has had an amazing career, I've enjoyed watching so many of his matches. It's just sad that's he's being forced to quit. It was heartbreaking watching his press conference.

I'm glad things are improving for you! What sort of things will the crafting class be teaching?

My HP box is sitting next to me, unopened. *twitchy fingers*

Buttons. 12-01-2019 05:53 PM

I know I watched part of that press conference too and nearly teared up and I'm not even a big tennis fan!

Thanks :) All sorts of bits and bats, making ornaments out of books and so on. They gave me a list of the things they do but I was desperate for the loo so only did a polite oh yes great thankyou before pegging it off.

Why is the box unopened????

nonperson 12-01-2019 05:58 PM

Haha. I'm sure it'll be fun. Making stuff always is.

And erm, because I'm strange and waiting for the right moment. It was only delivered this morning though.

Buttons. 12-01-2019 06:21 PM

*shakes head* you strange bean.

nonperson 12-01-2019 06:27 PM

I've done it now. =)

Buttons. 12-01-2019 06:29 PM

Happy with the results?

nonperson 12-01-2019 06:39 PM

Yes I think so! I treated myself to the special edition one. It's got a cool wand and a tshirt with Newt on it that says "Worrying means you suffer twice". =)

Buttons. 12-01-2019 07:09 PM

That's awesome!!

chinahorse 12-01-2019 07:25 PM

Awesome news buttons.

That's good np!

I have a bertie napping on me.

nonperson 12-01-2019 07:27 PM

Aw, napping Bertie.

Mine's being anti-social and is in the bathroom cupboard toasting himself against the radiator =/

chinahorse 12-01-2019 07:31 PM

He must be cosy in there!

Bertie is awake and purring.

nonperson 12-01-2019 07:33 PM

Squee! Look at those chubby white kitten legs. =D

chinahorse 12-01-2019 07:40 PM

Lol. I always worry he's too chubby.

nonperson 12-01-2019 07:44 PM

Nah he's just perfect. =)

I wonder how Alec and Aubergine are doing...

chinahorse 12-01-2019 07:45 PM

I happen to know they are ok.

one_step_closer 12-01-2019 07:49 PM

I'm glad you're doing better Buttons.

Bertie love!!!

I'm glad Aubergine and Alec are ok.

Buttons. 12-01-2019 07:50 PM

Bertie is very cute (for a cat :P)

Hey everybody :)

nonperson 12-01-2019 07:51 PM

Oh that's good they're ok. It's been a while.

Hullo Lindsay.

one_step_closer 12-01-2019 08:02 PM

Spread out the cat love Buttons, all of us with cats need to know that you think they are cute too.

Buttons. 12-01-2019 08:36 PM

Hmm your cats are all...cute for cats! However I still maintain my Alsation cross could beat any cat on a cuteness scale.

chinahorse 12-01-2019 08:39 PM

Haha thank buttons! Your dog is also extremely cute.

I want dinner but can't move the sleepy kitty.

nonperson 12-01-2019 08:45 PM

Cats and dogs have different cuteness scales. You can't compare one to the other.

And I'm speaking as an ex-Alsatian owner so I know how cute they are. =)

*shares my pickled onion monster munch with the thread*

nonperson 13-01-2019 12:38 AM

What's the problem with dogs and cats being equally good? =/

Ew, no thanks, Lillie! Roast beef flavour all the way.

chinahorse 13-01-2019 12:52 AM

Well, more for me then!

nonperson 13-01-2019 12:55 AM

Yep. =P I've never liked pickled onion flavour crisps!

Oh my gawd, I wish my browser would stop autocorrecting everything into American. >.<

chinahorse 13-01-2019 12:57 AM

Lol. Must be frustrating though np.

nonperson 13-01-2019 01:00 AM

Only when I don't spot the z's and missing u's. =P

I think you'll find that's not quite true:

Also, Isoverity, that's definitely my brain every morning!

chinahorse 13-01-2019 12:05 PM

Morning everyone.

The thread is now covered in dog drool, nice. Who's going to clean it up?

nonperson 13-01-2019 01:31 PM

Sorry. Buttons should do it, she's probably used to cleaning it up all the time anyway. =)

one_step_closer 13-01-2019 07:16 PM

*cleans*

How is everyones day going?

nonperson 13-01-2019 07:30 PM

Hi Lindsay.

It's going ok, I suppose. How's your day been?

one_step_closer 13-01-2019 07:41 PM

I've been quite productive.

Are you doing much this evening?

nonperson 13-01-2019 07:47 PM

Productiveness is good. =)

I've been semi-productive, but haven't achieved everything I wanted to.

Tonight is going to be watching Harry Potter (again, because I kept falling asleep in the week) and making some dinner. What about you?

Buttons. 14-01-2019 09:51 AM

I do that NP, full asleep part way through a film then have to try and track back to when I was last awake.

Morning all :)

chinahorse 14-01-2019 10:36 AM

I do that too.

Buttons. 14-01-2019 11:35 AM

Join the film vs sleep club Lillie :) How's you?
