Mmmmmmm Christmas choccies

one_step_closer 02-01-2019 07:32 PM

How do you even still have chocolate left over from Christmas? If it was in my house it would all be eaten.

tamobhuuta 03-01-2019 12:59 PM

Good afternoon how goes it?

not_so_insig 03-01-2019 03:44 PM

I have been for my weekly walk around the park at the bottom of the road. I have a headache which feels like a phantom hangover as I didn't drink any alcohol last night. Just drinking lots of lemonade.

tamobhuuta 03-01-2019 05:33 PM

I hope the headache passes soon.

My godmother came to see me, which was nice. We just talk and pray together.

I am now drinking a herbal tea.

one_step_closer 03-01-2019 07:50 PM

Evening.

How are you all getting on?

nonperson 03-01-2019 07:56 PM

Hey Lindsay.

I'm hurting from work today and have eaten too much soup so may fall asleep soon...

How's your evening?

one_step_closer 03-01-2019 08:09 PM

Oh dear, do you have things that help with the pain? Eating too much soup is probably not the worst thing. Maybe you should suggest it as a sleeping aid for everyone! What are you occupying yourself with?

I seem to have been quite rushed this evening. Just washed my hair. Supposed to be reading time now but I wanted to come on here for a bit since I was out through the day.

nonperson 03-01-2019 08:15 PM

Not moving helps with the pain. Ha, yes I do recommend soup as a sleeping aid. It's because it makes you all warm inside, I think. I'm now watching Star Wars and cuddling a cat, who I have now just realised managed to change the tv channel without me noticing!

Rushed evenings are never fun. Hope you can chill out a bit now though.

one_step_closer 03-01-2019 08:17 PM

I hope it was changed to something very similar to Star Wars otherwise how on earth did you not notice?!

nonperson 03-01-2019 08:22 PM

He changed it during the adverts! =P

one_step_closer 03-01-2019 08:27 PM

Haha! Maybe he wants to watch something else. Did you ask him if Star Wars was ok with him? :tongue2:

nonperson 03-01-2019 08:31 PM

Well... no I didn't ask... but he was fast asleep when I put it on so I assumed he didn't want to watch anything! Guess I was wrong. =P

tamobhuuta 03-01-2019 09:43 PM

When our cat was a babbie he liked the telly but now he ignores it.

chinahorse 03-01-2019 09:46 PM

My cat just fell off the sofa...

one_step_closer 04-01-2019 03:38 PM

Lol at cats!

Also lolcats used to be a good site, haven't been on it for a while so have no idea if it's any good now.

How are you all today?

Bless! My dog (not seeming aware of her own size) falls off the window sill fairly often trying to look out on the street when the chair just isn't plain good enough.

Buttons. 04-01-2019 04:28 PM

I'm stressed but managingish Lins, how are you?

Currently on a comedy binge so watching Josh Widdecombe then Sarah Millican I think.

one_step_closer 04-01-2019 05:22 PM

I hope you can keep managing-ish and also improve on that. A comedy binge sounds like an ideal stress reliever. Do you have a favourite comedian?

I'm trying to hold things together.

Will need to get some spot on stuff on the cats later so please wish me luck because it's hard doing it on my own.

Buttons. 04-01-2019 05:56 PM

Favourite comedians either Russell Howard or Peter Kay. Do you like any stand up comedy?

Well done for holding things together. I hope the cat thing isn't too traumatic.

one_step_closer 04-01-2019 06:17 PM

I don't really like stand up comedy, no. I do like Scot Squad and comedy injected into things but not stand up.

Are you watching dvds or online stuff or what?

nonperson 04-01-2019 06:19 PM

Good luck with the spot-on, Lindsay!

Russell Howard is one of the few comedians who can make me laugh. =)

one_step_closer 04-01-2019 06:21 PM

How are you doing today NP?

nonperson 04-01-2019 06:25 PM

I'm alright. Today wasn't as bad as it could have been... but I am ****ing freezing. How're you?

Buttons. 04-01-2019 06:44 PM

Mostly on Sky Lins.

Glad day went better than you thought NP. Hope you warm up soon *shares eletric blanket*

nonperson 04-01-2019 07:02 PM

I have a kitty warming me up. But now I have a numb foot...

Someone cook me dinner? I can't get up.

one_step_closer 04-01-2019 07:31 PM

A numb foot is surely not tolerable.

Dinner is served. Emm, not really.

nonperson 04-01-2019 07:34 PM

It wasn't tolerable. Managed to slide it out from underneath me without disturbing the cat though...

Oh I nearly got excited that dinner was served. =(

Buttons. 04-01-2019 07:45 PM

Well played with the cat releasing foot exercise.

I just had lasagne for dinner.

one_step_closer 04-01-2019 07:52 PM

Mmm.

I had pizza.

Poor NP. It's your turn to have dinner.

nonperson 04-01-2019 07:58 PM

Finally got up to put some burgers on.

Buttons. 04-01-2019 08:03 PM

Burgers are nommy! Do you have yours plain or with stuff on?

nonperson 04-01-2019 08:07 PM

I usually go for chicken burgers... but decided to have beef burger this time with tomato and blue cheese sauce and a bit of salad on the side.

If I have chicken it has the works - bacon and cheese. =)

zombiehunter 04-01-2019 08:12 PM

brewdog does awesome burgers

and awesome beer :-D

Buttons. 04-01-2019 08:18 PM

Chicken burger is not a true burger -_- glad you went the right way and had beef! I usually have plain but will sometimes have cheese on if is a decent cheese.

Zombie you're scaring the villagers, get out.

zombiehunter 04-01-2019 08:19 PM

I'm staying the **** right here *presses buttons* :-D

nonperson 04-01-2019 08:36 PM

Beef isn't generally my meat of choice. =(

Buttons. 04-01-2019 08:40 PM

Gosh darnit zombie.

Beef is awesome Np, you are strange.

nonperson 04-01-2019 08:44 PM

I know. =(

Buttons. 04-01-2019 08:49 PM

*will forgive the beef thing when I get my pumpkin wheelchair*

zombiehunter 04-01-2019 08:49 PM

NP is strange but that's why she is awesome :-D

nonperson 04-01-2019 08:50 PM

October is a long time to wait for forgiveness!

nonperson 04-01-2019 08:50 PM

Thanks... I think. =P

Buttons. 04-01-2019 09:29 PM

Well my birthday is in October so we can have a joint celebration: birthday, pumpkin wheelchair and forgiving NP.

not_so_insig 05-01-2019 12:43 PM

Morning all. I have had a delivery and my recycling has been collected so far today. Now to hope that the cars use their new scratching post.

one_step_closer 05-01-2019 02:27 PM

Hello everyone.

How are the cats getting on with the scratching post Dawn?

not_so_insig 05-01-2019 03:35 PM

one_step_closer 05-01-2019 04:24 PM
