Morning lindsay!
I'm ok. Got to go for my depot in a minute. Booooo! How are you? Oh that does sound like a surprise! |
Morning both. I slept really well last night. I'm really hoping today I will be less spasmy!
What's the point of the scaffolding osc? Have fun Cacoethes! |
I don't know what the scaffolding is for. The people said they're just contracted to put it up. I think the council will be doing whatever needs done. A bit of notice would be good.
Will you get some rest after getting your depot Beckie? I'm glad you slept well Tamo. What causes the spasms? |
Very strange lindsay!
I have been to asda and been to get my prescription. Though they inexplicably only have one of my medications even though I ordered them all so I have to go back after 2pm to see if they've managed to get them together. So that's annoying. |
Hey guys, oh that is so annoying beckie, my pharmacy is like that. And then they moan I go the day the prescription is sent. Makes no difference, I could wait 4 years and they still wouldn't have gotten it together.
|
Hi Lillie. How are you?
It is very annoying! Usually they're pretty good but its all gone wrong today! I got the text saying it was ready and everything! |
Oh dear, at least they are normally ok, fingers crossed this is a one off.
Im not good at all really. Called in sick and am using today to try and decrease my stress levels and get things done. I will have a bath to try and help my muscles at some point too. I also spoke to the gp who altered a med. |
Really hope so!
Sorry to hear that Lillie Well done for calling in sick. Sounds like that was the best thing for you |
Thanks beckie, Im trying not to beat myself up for it and have put the day to good use so far and it is helping me.
|
No need to beat yourself up about it.
You aren't feeling well and that's a perfectly valid reason to call in sick! I'm glad the day off is helping Sounds like you're doing all the right things |
Well done for taking the day off china. Hugs.
|
What's everyone up to this afternoon?
I have to shower at some point. Ugh |
Recovering from my cpn appointment.
|
Thanks tamo and beckie :)
I had a nap and am doing more coursework and drinking large volumes of tea. |
Tea solves everything!
|
It is certainly making things a lot more bearable.
|
Have you tried the jam and toast tea, Lillie?
|
I too am curious about the jam and toast tea
|
I want to try it but tesco doesn't stock it :-(
|
Order it online?
I kinda want to try it too. There's a tea and biscuits one as well though that doesn't sound so nice. |
Tea and biscuits tea just sounds like it would taste like the soggy bits of biscuit left in the tea after you've had a good biscuit dunking session
|
It all depends on the kind of biscuit surely?
|
I was thinking digestive
|
Is that too crumbly to be a good dunker?
I have dark chocolate digestives at the moment. The chocolate layer seems to stop them falling apart when I dunk in hot chocolate. =P |
The chocolate definitely does keep them together!
The plain ones are a bit crumbly for dunking |
Chocolate ones are the only way to go anyway, even without dunking.
|
Dunking is one of those words that loses its meaning the more you say it... o.o
Dunking Dunking dunking dunking |
Oh god don't!
I had that with 'Alabama' earlier! It doesn't sound like a real place/word after a while |
Alabama
Most American places don't sound like real words! Except the ones they nicked from us of course. =P Only joking, our place names sound odd too. Counties ending with "Shire" spring to mind. |
I live in a county ending in Shire!
I like to tell people I live in the shire. Though there are many! |
Me too, hehe. It's nothing like the Shire here though.
|
Nope not here either unfortunately!
|
I’m really struggling can’t seem to enjoy anything at the moment, I feel so flat ... I feel like having an early night and going to bed. Zzzz
|
Early nights can be helpful.
|
Also (probably said this already but only just made the link) the town where I grew up has LotR themed road names so that was nearly like being in the Shire for real!
|
That is so cool!
I went past an estate which had all norse mythology names for their streets. Like Thor drive and Asgard close! |
Random question which mold/mould is the one of the non fungal variety?
As in 'we took a mould/mold of the patients anterior teeth' |
Now that is awesome.
Imagine living in Asgard... =O |
I think it's mould
I know np! I would take great pleasure in telling people I lived in Asgard! |
Mold, I think.
Also Google tells me that's a town in Wales. |
Oh no, conflicting advice!!
|
Google is now telling me that "mold" is the US English version of "mould".
So it's mould, whether it's a mouldy plate or a mould of teeth. |
Imagine living in mould!
Lol you people should have conferred. Im going with mould as thats the one my computer doesnt object to. |
Hmmm, yeah Asgard or Mould, tough choice, hehe. =P
It is definitely mould. Sorry for adding to the confusion there! |
Theres a place nearish me called Pratts Bottom.
|
Wonder what sort of people live there. =X
|
I did think mold was the American spelling of it but wasn't sure so didn't say so!
Ha! Pratts Bottom. The UK is so weird |
I trusted that Google knew I wasn't American. Should have known better. *hangs head in shame*
|
It's the cone of shame for you np! :p
|
Oh no! =(
I must be bored - actually thought of fishing the cat's one out and putting it on myself for a second there.... |
