Hey Beckie. Hope you are enjoying your pizza.
Pizza is in the oven!
Print making sounds cool! |
Emma, have you ever tried felt making? Might be worth a try. I wish I could show you the workshops I taught, because I would be determined to find your art.
Nope! Never heard of that either lol.
Felt making looks really cool
Hey guys, I'm back with four cans of Tyskie.
Enjoy your beer Cheryl. You deserve a nice night in. Take it easy.
Everything that I wanted to do is done with the exception of ironing. I can do that in the morning. I'm lying in bed flicking through the channels and there's nothing on.
Do you have dvds you can watch?
I don't even own a DVD player. I have Sky Q, finding something to watch shouldn't be an issue. I've got last night's Silent Witness to catch up with. Captain America: Civil War is on Sky Heroes at 10:30, I might put that on. It's just for background noise. Oh in fact the Ab Fab movie is on just after 11.
I hope you enjoy whatever you choose.
I'm watching the news on BBC1. Did you hear about the guy caught stealing from bomb victims at the Manchester Arena? I've heard it all now.
Yes, I read about that today. Don’t even know what to say.
It is despicable.
I'm going to bed now. Night night everyone! |
Night night Beckie. Hope you enjoyed your pizza!
He was begging outside the venue so I'm guessing he's an addict. Giving beggars everywhere a bad name.
So I'm trying to learn German, it's taking forever and all I can really do is get by. I know loads of vocabulary but find it impossible to string logical sentences together so I started following loads of German groups on Facebook. Now when I scroll down my feed I understand about 40% of posts. I'm even following the German I'm a Celebrity... |
Goodnight Beckie. Hope you have a good sleep:
Night, Beckie, sleep well!
Sounds good Freeatlast! I did German gcse and a year at uni but doubt I’d remember any now. Which is a shame.
That must be an interesting language to learn. You’ll soon be fluent if you keep going.
It's a very literal language but the sentence structure is like Old English. The verb always comes at the end of the sentence. "To the shops I am going to walk." I struggle to understand the different cases, I think everything should be "das".
For anyone wanting to learn, use Duolingo and then switch to Yabla. And if you want my Yabla password then PM me because I pay the monthly subscription but it's limited to German only.
I think I've bored everyone to sleep.
I'm awake
Lol don’t think that’s you Free. Think it’s just the kind of time people start going to bed.
Hi zombiehunter. A fellow Glaswegian I see. I read earlier that Patrick is now officially cooler than Finnieston, according to some best neighbourhood poll.
Pomegranate, your status says you're in need of hugs, so here you go. (((((Hugs))))) And it should be my bedtime but I'm finishing my beers and hopefully having a late one. I'm watching something really disturbing on BBC2. |
hello fellow weegie *waves* as far as I'm concerned finneston and partick are both shiteholes but I have a cheek to talk cos i'm in the east end :-p
are you as raging as me at the new irn bru?? |
Naw mate, the East End is where it's at! I was in Carntyne today and my "brer" lives in Dennistoun. Personally I'm more of a Govanite. :p
As for the new in-bru, I'm addicted to diet brut so it doesn't affect me. Gave up the sugary stuff years ago and I really can't stand Xtra. |
Goodnight everyone and my fellow weegies.
Sweet dreams everyone! |
you were near to me today :-O
nighty night sketchbook |
Night Sketchy!
Sorry for the late reply. I was meant to text my mum's pal the plumber's number and forgot so she was on the phone. I'm the family information point, if anyone wants anything related to my family, they ring me. |
I'm watching Stacey Dooley on BBC2 and asking how she managed to get a job as an investigative journalist for the BBC. Her documentaries are so dumbed-down they're only fit for Blue Peter or BBC3. I especially love when she doesn't speak the lingo and she speaks in English and the interviewee speaks back in their own language and they dub in subtitles. Basically they're talking to each other without knowing what's being said. Do you ever notice that with BBC programs? :D
I’m awake, waiting for washing machine to finish. Think everyone’s gone now though.
Washing machine finished now, Person?
Morning people's :)
My body didn't get the memo that I'm not at work today. |
Morning Lillie. How's it going?
Morning people :-)
Hey Emma. How are you?
Hi Emma and Aubergine :)
I HAVE 2 DAYS OFF TOGETHER!! I have so far spent it cleaning and doing laundry :/ |
Omg! Isn’t that like, unheard of for you?? You definitely need to make sure you get some rest during that time as well :-)
Not too bad thanks Aubergine. Just washed my hair as heading into London for the Harry Potter exhibition at the British library. How are you? |
It was indeed unheard of but I erm gently demanded my boss give me at least 2 days off together 2 weeks of the month.
OOO that sounds like an awesome way to spend the day! What sort of things are on display? |
Well done you :-)
I think it’s like manuscripts and explains how the history of magic and folklore influenced the books. I’m not too sure. My friend bought our other friends and I tickets for Christmas. |
Oh thats different but sounds fairly interesting. I hope you enjoy it and if not hope you enjoy hanging out with your friends.
Thanks Lillie. Currently fighting with my employers payroll because they’re saying that because my sick note for October and November didn’t cover the whole period that they’re entitled not to pay me for December or January! They paid me £19 for 40 hours work in December. Pricks! Now missed the bus.
Sorry, just needed to rant! |
Afternoon all. I have an vets appointment and my nurse's appointment today.
What the eff?! Hope you get it sorted Emma, payroll can be a nightmare. Thankfully our lady is nice enough, and its only her and I have her work mobile and email so she can't hide for long.
That'll kep you busy for a few hours then Dawn. |
Sounds like a productive day Dawn!
Thanks Lillie. I know 40 hours may not seem a lot of money to some people but it is for me! Especially when I was off for October and November so didn’t get paid then either and got into debt. |
Its a lot of money to anyone! Like if you got minimum wage for someone my age it'd be £300!!
Thanks Lillie. What are you going to do with your two days off?
Hey guys!
Well done for arranging the 2 days off thing Lillie! Hope you have a good day Emma, the harry potter thing sounds awesome! |
All times are GMT +1. The time now is 08:25 PM. |
