Apparently it is extra pay on xmas eve...but only after 7pm. Ffs.
It was the busiest shift of my life! Could barely move in the bar! Also kept running out of glasses. Standard.

Lol, Jenna. Car wash trip sounds like a good day out! My friend offered to take me to a car wash once but I think she's forgotten, or maybe didn't realise my utter lack of humaning ability.

I walk past a car wash on the way to work and it was packed! I did think of you np!

I don't think it would be possible for it to get busier! There was literally no room! People were even sitting outside! But there were some people causing issues (vaping inside, being unnecessarily loud!) So glad i don't have to deal with that!

Well, that's one of the activities for our first ever hang-out sorted!

Still sad that they didn't have the vegan battered sausage at the ALDI I went to. Going to try another one at some point as I simply must have it.

I'm home. Tired. Slight headache. Eaten much more meat than my body is comfortable with (and my feelings about animal welfare!!!)

Now it is 11 pm and mr. Asshat next door is having a party. No, not a Christmas party. A party with rave like music and very silly shenanigans. As he did yesterday evening as well…. Every day, when i first hear lifesigns from his flat, i sigh and just accept that the assasins failed once again >:(

Car wash's are a legit death trap, NP!!!! As a kid, our car once Got stuck inside one. It just kept on washing amd washing. I was so scared we were going to starve to death or something like that, trapped in a car wash!!!! Such trauma!!!

For christ's sake, stop scare-mongering! I'm never going to get np to overcome her car wash fear now!!! Car washes are a perfectly safe way to avoid having to spend hours scrubbing a car.

What have you got planned for today?

Off to the parents’ house soonish (via my friend’s house as I’m looking after her snake while she’s away!) for standard family Christmas. Minus my sister and also minus christmas dinner as my mum draws the line at out dietary requirements and so they’re having Christmas dinner later in the week when my sister comes :P

I'm hoping by the time i get there, the food prep will have been done. Usually end up peeling potatoes or brussels and i hate it.

I had a fire tv stick. Between downloading and setting up the various apps it took me an hour and a half. I also did my new diary that also took over an hour. Now watching Keeping Up Appearances.

I got a fire stick years ago and it's still awesome!

Beckie yes, we’ll go grab all the reduced vegan/GF christmas food in the shops tomorrow and have a feast!

My mum bought a cheesecake this year. Turns out it is a vegan cheesecake. My dad didn't like it. I havent tried it yet as I stuck to trifle.

We have caterpillar cake (for brother's birthday) and a Christmas pudding which mum is making a massive deal of because it's from Harvey Nichols :eyeroll:
But I'm too full!
Also had slow cooker baileys hot chocolate which was INCREDIBLE!

I had a baileys latte before too.

I had 4 hours at home but it went so quickly! I had my two favourite breakfasts, opened presents from Father Christmas, had hot chocolate, opened the rest of the presents, falafelled a bit including cutting my toenails (!) And then it was time to come back to the ward.

It is absolutely boiling! Their house is an 'eco house' which means it just retains heat. One side of the house is all floor to ceiling windows!
It was 26°C upstairs this morning and mum said that was cold! Genuinely feels like a summers day.

I have just washed and dried my hair. I have my aunt and uncle coming later. A bit anxious about them coming though.
