Afternoon everyone
I've only just properly woken up |
Hi Cacoethes, was it a good sleep?
It was thanks. Eventually!
Have you been up to much today? |
Just normal stuff. Had to do my meds dose box for the week - should have done it yesterday.
Fun times!
I'm just catching up with taskmaster |
My postcard to Germany has arrived. Plus I have had an parcel today which I am making use of. I am expecting a boring parcel to arrive sometime this week hopefully tomorrow.
Was it a nice parcel?
I had a parcel today too.
It was hot chocolate sachets |
Hey everyone, sorry I'm quiet. Just popping in, don't know if I can get back into the flow of things yet but maybe I'll be wrong. Sending love to you all.
Nice to see you lindsay
Sending you lots of love |
Hi osc, good to see you.
Oooo hot chocolate! |
Yep! They never have any here so I decided to buy my own
I had an shredder in my parcel before tamobhuuta. Needed as I knackered up my last one.
Exciting!
Hello Lindsay don't worry about being quiet. I hope you stick around but if not hope you come back soon xxx
Hey Lindsay <3
Evening everyone. |
Hey np!
Hi np, how are you?
Hey Beckie and Tamo.
I'm tired =( How're you both? |
So tired I'm going to bed.
Aw, sleep well!
I am not tired and slightly hyper!
Morning all.
I had a dream about you Beckie. Basically instead of taking them to the charity shop I gave Beckie a load of children's books for Jasmine. You were initially grateful but then proceeded to slap me with a court order saying that I wasn't to contact Jasmine. I hadn't at that point so was very confused. The address where Jasmine lived was in Flintshire North Wales. Then my ex gf turned up and basically said that a 3ds xl with Super Mario Bros 2 wasn't for her. She then began to ban me from the fish and chip shop that she owned. She ran a raffle but it was only for people in Fulham where the fish and chip shop was located. She then proceeded to give Beckie an free fish and chips. It was weird. I dont know where Jasmine lives but I am pretty sure it's not Flintshire or Fulham. My ex gf and I never visited Fulham (and I have never been there) nor lived there and Beckie doesn't live in Fulham either so who knows why of all places half the action occurred there. |
Fun dream, Dawn!
Beckie seems to have a way of sneaking into people's dreams =P |
That is a very odd dream dawn!
And don't worry, i would never get a court order on you! I do! :p Maybe it's because I'm here so much! |
Hi everyone.
That is a weird dream! I've had coffee, now it's tea time. |
Ooo I didn't tell you, a few days ago my sister went to Costa and got me a chai latte. I love my sister.
That sounds good tamo!
How are you?
I'm good! Still slightly hyper!
I've been annoying the staff but they're being boring and locked themselves in the office :plain: Lunch time soon |
What do you think you'll have?
I had a tuna mayo sandwich :)
Do they do proper sandwiches not on grey bread?
They come pre packaged but are handmade.
I only really like the ones with mayo (egg, chicken and tuna) because the cheese or ham ones are really dry. And it's a random selection of what they decide to deliver that day! |
I like a plain cheese sandwich.
They can be nice
You inspired me to have one.
Haha! Did you enjoy it?
Those mixed cheese and onion sandwiches are good.
Oooh yes i love those!
Just floating through and saw the sandwich debate. And it amused me greatly so had to comment. I do not understand how the chicken Mayo ones can be so yummy, but the ham etc is so dry! I used to always choose chicken Mayo, or at a push cheese and pickle for that very reason. I feel like there should be some feedback forms or somewhere cos I always thought it was me being fussy!
Hi Emma!
Definitely not you being fussy! I've spoken to several patients who say the same thing! |
When I'm feeling fancy I like cheese and caramelised onion but I can't do the onions myself.
Also, fun fact. In the staff canteens, those sandwiches are £3.50! Literally the exact same sandwiches. Which is why staff get ward food put aside, cos it’s free :-p
Sneaky
No way Emma!
Staff always eat the dinners here! We even have one staff from next door (male ward) come and take our food! It's only because there's always loads leftover. We are only a 10 bed ward and next door is 19 so there's never any food left over there |
Yeah and although there is a bit more selection and choice in the bigger hospitals, the hot options are also usually the same as ward food. So, like why pay £5+ for dinner when the nice catering staff will put some of the ward food aside? After patients have eaten of course.
Exactly! It's only sensible!
L got me party rings
Nice!
I've just had dinner It was this pasta thing with ham, cheese and leeks and some mixed veg and I had chocolate angel delight stuff for dessert. It was all tasty! |
