the absolute worst thing (ok maybe not the worst but one of the worst personally) of the last year is that everything is now phoneall based so I'm getting several "have to answer" calls a week

Afternoon all. I am waiting for my tesco shopping order.

Well my tesco shopping order came so I have lots of yummy things. Plus lemonade. I am like Beckie with her diet coke addiction but with lemonade instead.

i used to be similar with irn-bru, but now my addiction item is ginger beer... mainly as cheep irn-bru isnt great but cheap ginger beer is still good :P

I LOVE ginger beer. I also like dandelion and burdock.

same! Also a mix of dried dandelion, burdock and ginger roots make an awesome tea

I'd not thought of that, I'll have to give it a go.

What have you both been up to?

I got up at 9.15am which is very early for me. I was too hungry to lie in. Now I'm having coffee.

L bought me some M&S hot chocolate, it tastes posh.

so far this morning I have taken the bin out and turned the laptop on... to say I have been up since 7 I really should have dne more but I have no idea what to do

oh, and made some danelion, burdock and hawthorn tea. Which I am currently drinking

hard to describe the taste to be honest... bit like a mild root beer


the fun of being taught herbalism at the young age :laugh: my Gran was very into herbal remadies when I was a kid and it's only grown in me into a love of foraging


and not really sure what I want to do... in one of those restless but unmotivatied moods. Might go for a walk later, looks like it might rain soon so will wait until after that

The only things my mum ever made was an elderflower drink, rosehip juice and i think also dandelion and burdock.
I didn't like any of them as a child!

I just had a loose leaf tea delivered and they sent a different one to what I ordered... sent them an email so will have to see what happens

its annoyingly hard to get anywhere else to be honest. I m certain shops used to sell it... like normal supermarket type shops, no tth espciailist pricey shops that I have to go into town for :laugh:

the tea people have replied to my email, they are sending the tea I actually ordered and an extra free small sample of a third tea and said to keep the incorrect tin!

So I will soon have ALL the tea




so that's all good, I hate contacting customer services so had to really force myself to email them...



I can see where the confusion came from, I had ordered "gingerbeer tea" (which is rooibos tea with ginger, lemon and lime) and a sample bag of gignerbread chai to try out of curiousity. And they basically sent a sample plus a tin of the chai. So I think they just saw ginger and got mixed up.
