I think it was built in the 70s with the building and hasn't worked in the 8 years I've been here until it was refurbished. It has taken a bit of getting used to but I quite like it now. It's not too loud with the windows closed.

Ah sounds very similar to my clock. The building it is attached to was built in the 1920s by local miners and the clock was used to get the miners up. It stopped working in 2007 but it was refurbished and has been chiming since May 2019. Fortunately I can't hear it in my flat but can hear it outside. Which is a good thing because it strikes every quarter of an hour from 6 am to 10 pm.

I haven't watched coronation street in ages.
I only really watch it when I'm at my nanny's because dhe watches it.

In my opinion, he's even more awesome because of how well he's doing in Strictly.

But he's like 55 years old. Most of the oldies are usually awful. They had to do a lot of work on his posture.

I know! It's so annoying! I'm half hoping I don't hear from them as they only suggest distractions which I do anyway and it frustrates me.

I usually hate it but today I just did not have the motivation to get dressed.

The crisis team called. Was on the phone for a whole 2 minutes and 22 seconds....

They can be so frustrating. Did they say ANYTHING helpful?

Nope. They asked how I was. I said not so good. They said ok. Said I can't be bothered to get dressed today. She said that was fine.
Ended the call with 'as long as you're ok' which I said I wasn't but I'd given up at that point.
