Cacoethes 18-06-2019 07:28 PM

It's pouring down!

nonperson 18-06-2019 07:28 PM

And I thought an umbrella was spoiling him!

Although... that might not be such a bad idea. Could line a litter tray with one and then he won't be tempted to use it all the time and might only use it for rainy day emergencies?

nonperson 18-06-2019 07:29 PM

Are you out in it, Beckie?!

one_step_closer 18-06-2019 07:35 PM

That could be worth a try NP.

I thought you just asked Beckie if she was out of it!

There has been no rain here so far.

nonperson 18-06-2019 07:37 PM

Hehe, well hallucinating really heavy rain could be better.

It seems to have stopped here for now. We're due loads more though.

tamobhuuta 18-06-2019 08:02 PM

It's still raining here

Cacoethes 18-06-2019 08:08 PM

Haha! :p

It's stopped now!

Wasn't out in it luckily but off to slimming world in a bit so hope it doesn't start again!

Stellata 18-06-2019 08:37 PM

Hi everyone.

It rained when I got home, thankfully. It's stopped again now.

Cacoethes 18-06-2019 08:56 PM

Hi Katie!

It started to pour down just after I left the house!
Not too bad to walk in though because it's quite warm and fresh!
Had a good loss this week at slimming world :)

Stellata 18-06-2019 08:57 PM

So sorry you got stuck in the rain, Beckie. But glad it wasn't too bad to walk in.

Well done. :)

tamobhuuta 18-06-2019 09:24 PM

Well done Cacoethes

Cacoethes 18-06-2019 09:31 PM

Thanks both! :)

It was absolutely torrential walking back!
And some idiot splashed me with his car so I was soaked from head to toe!

Stellata 18-06-2019 09:35 PM

I hope you get dried off soon. That's horrible when cars do that.

Cacoethes 18-06-2019 09:47 PM

I have changed into lovely dry PJs!

I think they did it on purpose because every other car managed to miss me!

Stellata 18-06-2019 09:48 PM

Definitely a PJ situation!

Cacoethes 18-06-2019 10:07 PM

You up to much this evening?

Stellata 18-06-2019 10:10 PM

I'm watching 999 what's your emergency?
Then an earlyish night I think maybe.

Cacoethes 18-06-2019 10:17 PM

That's a good programme
Not seen it in ages though
Think I'll be having an earlyish night too

Stellata 18-06-2019 10:18 PM

I hope that you get a good sleep.

Cacoethes 18-06-2019 10:20 PM

You too :)

Stellata 18-06-2019 10:45 PM

Thanks Beckie.

nonperson 18-06-2019 11:13 PM

Finally watched the last episode of Game of Thrones... :crying: <-- my actual face, no lie.

Buttons. 19-06-2019 08:26 AM

My face was more

Morning everybody. I have fairly busy day, got an appointment at support place, need to nip the bank and then first tutorial on the course I'm doing eek!

Albert Hall in Manchester, grade 2 listed building so no lift. Beckie and I are going to see Amanda Palmer there in November, I just wanted to make sure it was sorted with plenty of time to spare so I don't spend the next however many months worrying and can just enjoy looking forward to it.

Eska 19-06-2019 08:48 AM

Morning Buttons! Hope your busy day goes well.

Stellata 19-06-2019 10:16 AM

I hope all goes well, Buttons. What's the course?

tamobhuuta 19-06-2019 12:00 PM

not_so_insig 19-06-2019 12:19 PM

Morning all.

I had a dream that Buttons was shopping in my town and bought a load of stuff that was from the local bakery firm. Now on their packaging it says barms so Buttons went and showed it to Beckie. Beckie got a marker pen and wrote rolls on the packaging. Now the local bakery has a cornish pasty only they call it an short crust pasty because if EU rules about cornish pasties. Buttons loved her pasty as well as me only Beckie didn't. Beckie threw her pasty at Buttons because she dared to buy barm cakes. They were arguing down the street over said cornish pasty.

To stop them arguing I dragged them into a yours clothing shop. There was nothing suitable so we went into Evans clothing store. I selected 3 garments from the store and went into the changing room to try them on. For some strange reason every changing cubicle had a shower in it and a toilet. I set off the shower accidentally so it soaked some of the clothes. An assistant came and asked if I was ok. I explained that because of the shower I soaked some of the clothes. The assistant was discussing what to do with said clothes because i just wanted to get out of there. Then i woke up

not_so_insig 19-06-2019 12:53 PM

In other news I am off to the vet today. My old lady isn't well :-(

Cacoethes 19-06-2019 02:48 PM

one_step_closer 19-06-2019 03:49 PM

Hello everyone.

I hope you have a good day Buttons. I'm glad things are sorted with the Albert Hall.

How are you getting on Eska?

Hi Katie, how are you?

Hi Tamo, what are you getting up to?

Lol at your dream Dawn! Hope kitty is alright.

Have you managed to do any cba stuff yet Beckie?

Eska 19-06-2019 03:54 PM

I'm doing ok. Have sorted most of the stuff I need to sort which is a nice feeling. How about you, Lindsay?

one_step_closer 19-06-2019 04:05 PM

Well done, it's good to get things sorted. :-) Are you at work or doing home stuff?

I'm not sure how I am. Today feels weird.

tamobhuuta 19-06-2019 04:14 PM

I'm feeling sad because my godmother has had to go to the eye hospital.

one_step_closer 19-06-2019 04:15 PM

NP, or someone else plant knowledgeable, am I supposed to take these tie things off? Thank you.

one_step_closer 19-06-2019 04:16 PM

Oh no Tamo. :( I hope she'll be ok. Will she be able to let you know how she's getting on?

Eska 19-06-2019 04:16 PM

I'm in work. It's going reasonably quickly today!

I hope today feels less weird in a bit.

I'm sorry about your godmother Tamo.

one_step_closer 19-06-2019 04:18 PM

Eska 19-06-2019 05:03 PM

Aw thank you Lindsay! Do I get a badge??

Sounds like a productive day Beckie!

I hope you hear from her soon Tamo.

How is your busy day going, Buttons?

not_so_insig 19-06-2019 05:04 PM

Am back from the vet. They don't know what is wrong with my cat but blood tests were taken from her so see what that brings.

tamobhuuta 19-06-2019 06:14 PM

My godmother is ok :)

Sorry about your cat insig.

Buttons. 19-06-2019 06:26 PM

Had very very bad morning with alcohol team who are supposed to 'support me' in my sobriety, but instead of focussing on the fact that I've been over a month sober, got out about more, taking my meds correctly, starting my BSL qualification course and getting a nurses' letter to say I can do disabled friendly gym work and swimming in local centre, she focussed on every negative she could possibly find and also dropped a massive bombshell I can't even talk about. So after an hour's sulk I rang them back calmly and said they have my permission to pass on my mobile number to a healthcare person and that then I want to be deleted from their system as I don't trust them as far as I can throw them (put it more politely than that) and I will no longer be in contact or attending.

PLUS side first tutorial went GREAT tutor said I was way above what she'd expected (having Deaf friends has helped obv as I've picked up stuff from them) and she said it's a shame I have to do level one as she thinks I could be level 2 which gave me a massive confidence boost and it's encouraging that the first level of the course a lot of it I will already know, so getting back into education learning some new signs but not to pressured.

*end of life story*

Tamo so glad your godmother is okay :)

Hope your cat gets on the mend soon Dawn.
