Hey Beckie, what're you up to today?

I dunno what I'm going to do with my time off.

Cacoethes 31-01-2018 01:40 PM

Not much
Need to clean and do work
But meh

Pomegranate 31-01-2018 01:46 PM

Ha I know that feeling Beckie!

Cacoethes 31-01-2018 01:56 PM

Haha!
I'd rather just stay in bed tbh!

I have a chair thats just got a load of stuff on it.
Old CC and new CC randomly turned up earlier so I just dumped all the stuff on the floor.
I really need to sort it out...

How did CC appointment go?

chinahorse 31-01-2018 02:04 PM

How'd the appointment go Beckie?

Cacoethes 31-01-2018 02:06 PM

It was fine.
Brief!
I'm seeing new one next week anyway.
I was really thrown off my them randomly turning up so didn't talk much!

Pomegranate 31-01-2018 02:09 PM

Ha, mine did that last week and I was a bit like ‘Urm...hey...all fine. All good here. Go away’

Pomegranate 31-01-2018 02:42 PM

This train smells. What’s everyone upto?

Cacoethes 31-01-2018 03:09 PM

Public transport usually does!

I'm just back from Asda.
Turns out I didn't actually need anything and I went there out of habit

Pomegranate 31-01-2018 03:19 PM

Haha oh Beckie!

Cacoethes 31-01-2018 03:27 PM

Well, it got me out at least!!

Sketchy 31-01-2018 03:30 PM

Hey all.

I’m going to Asda later. Too tired just now. Might make a coffee to waken me up.

Cacoethes 31-01-2018 03:44 PM

Good plan Lorraine
Im going to make a coffee too because I am cold!

one_step_closer 31-01-2018 03:53 PM

Just wanted to say hello. I'm keeping myself mostly busy and I don't have the right sort of focus to form replies to support posts right now but I'm letting you know I'm still about. Will try to be a bit more social around this thread at least.

Hope everyone is warming up ok!

Sketchy 31-01-2018 03:55 PM

Hey Lindsay. Good to have you here.

I have the fire on and am starting to heat up.

Cacoethes 31-01-2018 03:58 PM

Hi Lindsay!
Nice to see you!

That's good Lorraine.
Ive got the heating on

Sketchy 31-01-2018 04:13 PM

I reeeeeeeeally can’t be bothered going to Asda, but I have to. I need gift wrap for my dad’s birthday and celotape. His birthday is tomorrow. We’re all going to an Indian restaurant for it.

one_step_closer 31-01-2018 04:23 PM

My heat source is coming from a snoring cat on my lap.

How long will it take you to get to Asda and back Lorraine? Hope you can motivate yourself and also hope your Dad has a nice birthday and you all enjoy the meal.

Cacoethes 31-01-2018 04:25 PM

Get it over and done with Lorraine!
Indian restaurant sounds good!
I love indian food

Nawwww kitty!!

Sketchy 31-01-2018 04:26 PM

Thanks Lindsay. Asda is a 20 minute walk away and I always get a taxi back, so shouldn’t take too long.

Sketchy 31-01-2018 04:27 PM

Right, I’ll take your advice Beckie and get it over with. The sooner it’s done the sooner I can be back home and changed into a onesie!

not_so_insig 31-01-2018 04:40 PM

I am back from the vet and now just waiting for my nurse.

wildly insane 31-01-2018 04:49 PM

Did the vets go okay? I've just been to the vets and now my dog is curled up on my lap wondering what just happened. He's had a gunky eye for a week, probably didn't even need to take him but £50 to make sure...

I'd probably not go to asda, wrap the present in a scarf and say that you're saving paper, but not all dads would appreciate that!

Cacoethes 31-01-2018 05:14 PM

I've decided I want fajitas for dinner so I'll be going to asda again!

not_so_insig 31-01-2018 05:26 PM

The vet went ok as she was only there for her booster.

My nurse appointment went ok.

chinahorse 31-01-2018 05:28 PM

OOO fajitas are nommy!

Glad it was okay Dawn.

I just had a cheeky nap.Not sure what to do now though :S

Aubergine 31-01-2018 05:38 PM

Heya.

Cacoethes 31-01-2018 05:39 PM

They are indeed!

Cheeky nap sounds good!
Im not sure what to suggest regarding things to do!

Hey Aubergine!
How are you?

chinahorse 31-01-2018 05:48 PM

I should see what washing is dry and juggle things around a bit and see if I have room for my bedding but Im tempted just to do it tomorrow cos I cba to clean my bedroom rn.

Hey aubergine, you ok lovey?

Aubergine 31-01-2018 05:54 PM

Rest, Lillie! Stay warm and have a chill out.

I'm ok thanks. At Dad's for dinner. Cheese and potato pie! :D CC came this morning and said I'm having "senior moments." I am only 30!

Yo beckie! How's it going?

Cacoethes 31-01-2018 05:56 PM

Aubergine has good ideas Lillie!

Cheese and potato pie sounds great!
Don't worry, senior moments happen to the best of us!
Earlier I got up and went upstairs to have a shower, forgetting that I had just got out if the shower 15 mins ago....

I'm just going out to asda again to get fajita ingredients!

nonperson 31-01-2018 06:18 PM

Y'ello.

Sketchy 31-01-2018 06:28 PM

Hello all.

I’m back from Asda. I think I have officially lost my marbles. I got my dad’s gift wrap for his present. I also got him a grandad card and pyjamas from the cat!

wildly insane 31-01-2018 06:35 PM

I thought you said pyjamas for your cat there sketchy

wildly insane 31-01-2018 06:35 PM

Hi nonperson, I'm Hannah, how are you?

chinahorse 31-01-2018 06:37 PM

Pyjamas for a cat would be awesome!

wildly insane 31-01-2018 06:38 PM

can you imagine them trying to squirm out of them!

Cacoethes 31-01-2018 06:42 PM

Haha! Cat pyjamas

Im also back from asda.
Fajita time!!

nonperson 31-01-2018 06:42 PM

Hi Hannah, nice to meet you! I don't want to give my name, people seem to be calling me Person though, which is amusing. I'm ok, really very tired.... and cuddling my cat. How're you?

Lorraine, I always sign birthday cards to my family from my cat!

not_so_insig 31-01-2018 06:44 PM

My cat had to wear an elizabethan collar. He hated it so much that he spent half his time trying to get it off.

nonperson 31-01-2018 06:47 PM

Shakespearean cat?

Sketchy 31-01-2018 06:48 PM

Your poor cat Dawn.

Haha, no the pyjamas are for my dad from the cat. Molly would not tolerate pyjamas.

Hannah, you can call me Lorraine.

not_so_insig 31-01-2018 06:53 PM

It was his own fault as he kept on making it worse by constantly scratching. At least he was spared a trip to the vet by having the collar on before it got infected.

nonperson 31-01-2018 06:55 PM

Oh I was thinking like a proper collar like Shakespeare wore! I've always called them buster collars. Or cones of shame. No cats like wearing them.

Sketchy 31-01-2018 06:56 PM

Poor kitties. Molly would claw it off.

nonperson 31-01-2018 07:01 PM

That's why you tie it on!

My cat has to wear one usually once or twice a year. He's always getting in scrapes and needing medical attention. =/

Anyway, I'm off to do some cleaning.

Sketchy 31-01-2018 07:02 PM

Hope the cleaning doesn’t take too long Nonperson.

wildly insane 31-01-2018 07:21 PM

Haha, one of our cats has a flea allergy, but luckily never had to wear a collar. He looks like your cat photo Lorraine, is that Molly? Both ours are all black.
