Thanks. glad you managed to get some shopping done, hope the move goes okay Lillie, hope you're okay Beckie, Lins you're still a little cat orientated but I love you and if I've missed anyone I'm sorry my eyes aren't their best and reading loads of posts in one go is hard/.

Sketchy 11-12-2017 07:03 PM

I have chips in the oven! Yum!

Buttons. 11-12-2017 07:05 PM

Chips for the win!!!!

Sketchy 11-12-2017 07:07 PM

Indeedy!

What are you up to tonight Buttons? I’m just going to relax after my mad shopping trip.

one_step_closer 11-12-2017 07:16 PM

Chiiiiips!

I had a bacon and egg sandwich for my dinner, had the same yesterday.

Buttons. 11-12-2017 07:21 PM

I'm just watching reruns of Friends and chucking a toy repeatedly for my dog-think her having treats and having to deal with the miracle that is snow has sent her a little mental :P hoping to get her to the dog park tomorrow to run it off-she only had a short walk today to normal park and back.

Buttons. 11-12-2017 07:22 PM

Also cooked egg sandwich sounds amazing.

Buttons. 11-12-2017 07:23 PM

can't stand cold egg sandwich though weirdly

one_step_closer 11-12-2017 07:28 PM

Good exercise for your arm chucking a toy. You'll have one huge arm and one mini one. I think eggs in general are good but I do prefer them hot.

Buttons. 11-12-2017 07:46 PM

Oh hell I'll have a popeye arm :P

Sketchy 11-12-2017 07:47 PM

Sounds like the dog is having fun though.

My chips were yummy.

one_step_closer 11-12-2017 07:49 PM

If you have a Popeye arm it's a rule that you have to like spinach.

Glad you enjoyed your chips Lorraine.

Sketchy 11-12-2017 07:56 PM

Thanks Lindsay.

Buttons. 11-12-2017 08:01 PM

Actually spinach when hidden in lasagne is not that bad....would still prefer Lorraine's chips with a bit of cheese on though :P

Sketchy 11-12-2017 08:02 PM

Do you know I was just thinking the chips could have done with some cheese. Still tasty though.

I don’t mind spinach.

one_step_closer 11-12-2017 08:06 PM

Chips and cheese are so good.

Also chips and gravy.

Buttons. 11-12-2017 08:07 PM

Glad you enjoyed them :) Tbf cheese isn't everything, salt and vinegar and/or ketchup will do just fine for chips.

Buttons. 11-12-2017 08:08 PM

Okay Lins I have to respectfully disagree-gravy should only be used on meat or at a push on Yorkshire puddings and even then only a tiny bit. Chips and gravy is weird.

Sketchy 11-12-2017 08:09 PM

I did have vinegar on them. Yum.

I’m so sleepy now. Food always makes me sleepy. Don’t know why.

one_step_closer 11-12-2017 08:10 PM

Chips and gravy are the best! I think I only like Christmas dinner because I can put gravy on everything.

You must be feeling all content Lorraine since you have eaten and now you're ready to sleep.

Sketchy 11-12-2017 08:13 PM

I am content.

I have the vegetarian options for Christmas dinner, like a quorn roast or nut roast. I still get all the trimmings and vegetarian gravy. Yum.

Apparently it's so your body can absorb the nutrients back when fight or flight was necessary.

Get out.

one_step_closer 11-12-2017 08:16 PM

Buttons, your comment reminded me of that M&Ms advert when the guy tells the M&Ms to get in the bowl and the M&M says 'you get in the bowl.' So I'm going to say to you 'you get out.'

My brother usually has quorn roast when he comes to mine for Christmas.

Sketchy 11-12-2017 08:19 PM

Ah, that’s interesting Buttons.

I’m not going to nap though, because I want to sleep well tonight. I have a few errands to do tomorrow, then I’m going to our local with my sister. No hiding away for me for a change!

one_step_closer 11-12-2017 08:36 PM

Are you comfortable enough being out with your sister?

Sketchy 11-12-2017 08:44 PM

Yes. The local is a 5 minute walk away from our flats and I feel comfortable there. She’s on annual leave this week, so will be wanting to do nice things like that.

one_step_closer 11-12-2017 08:46 PM

Hope you have a nice time. :-)

Sketchy 11-12-2017 08:47 PM

Thanks.

How is your evening going?

Cacoethes 11-12-2017 08:51 PM

Given up with assignment for tonight.
At least I managed to start it though!

How are we all?

Sketchy 11-12-2017 08:53 PM

It’s good you made a start. Time to have a rest now maybe.

I’m ok thanks. How are you?

one_step_closer 11-12-2017 08:59 PM

Big praise with getting it started. Hope the rest of your night is relaxing.

Cacoethes 11-12-2017 09:04 PM

Thank you both :)

one_step_closer 11-12-2017 09:09 PM

What are you going to do with the rest of your night?

not_so_insig 11-12-2017 09:10 PM

It's freezing here. Hope everyone is warmer than me!

one_step_closer 11-12-2017 09:11 PM

Get all wrapped up Dawn.

I've just realised that I'm actually not so cold this winter because the houses in my street had external wall insulation put on. Strangely I forgot about that.

Sketchy 11-12-2017 09:14 PM

I’m frozen too. Probably too much info, but I really need to use the toilet, but I can’t bare the thought of taking my nice warm onesie off.

one_step_closer 11-12-2017 09:15 PM

That's one of the main reasons I don't like onesies. So cold when you have to go to the toilet!

Sketchy 11-12-2017 09:17 PM

I know, it’s really annoying. Thankfully the radiator in my bathroom really heats the place up.

one_step_closer 11-12-2017 09:21 PM

Do you keep your heating on when you're in bed? Going to the toilet in the middle of the night can be a cold experience when the heating's off. Mine usually isn't on when I go to bed.

Cacoethes 11-12-2017 09:24 PM

Im not too cold.

Thats why I don't wear onesies! They're so toasty but going to the toilet is a pain!

Sketchy 11-12-2017 09:25 PM

No, but I keep it on as late as possible. Sadly that means night time trips to the bathroom are rather cold.

I think I’ll fill my hot water bottles.

one_step_closer 11-12-2017 09:29 PM

Hot water bottles are bringers of good things. As long as they don't burst.

Cacoethes 11-12-2017 09:33 PM

Love hot water bottles!
I do worry about them bursting though!

Sketchy 11-12-2017 09:37 PM

Love my hot water bottles. I worry about them bursting too. Ouch!

one_step_closer 11-12-2017 09:50 PM

I have had the experience of one bursting through the night. Luckily (I suppose) the water was cold at the time but there was a lot of it and it soaked my bed.

Cacoethes 11-12-2017 09:52 PM

Ugh that would be so annoying!
Cant imagine many worse things than a soaked bed in the middle of the night!

Sketchy 11-12-2017 09:53 PM

That’s not fun. At least it was cold. I’ve jumped into bed with my hot water bottles and I’m nice and toasty.

one_step_closer 11-12-2017 09:56 PM

I wish you a warm and intact water bottle night!

Cacoethes 11-12-2017 09:57 PM

Im going to be heading off to bed now with my hot water bottle!
College tomorrow.

Night night all!

one_step_closer 11-12-2017 09:58 PM

Night Beckie. Hope you sleep well and have a good day tomorrow.
