Good afternoon all.

I'm in costa in town. I'm meeting my writing group in a couple of hours. I had an appointment and wasn't worth going home first, so I have a lot of time on my hands. Thankfully I have my sketchbooks. I might go the art shop too and look at all the pretty supplies!

What are you guys up to?

Have you got any distraction-y stuff you can do Katy?
Watch a film? Play with the dog? Read a book?

Appointment went ok. Glad it's over though. I'm rewarding myself an iced caramel latte and sketching away.

Writing group sounds fun

I've stuck Friends on and am watching the dog be her weird and wonderful self. Can't really concentrate very well.

Friends is always good. And your dog will be a good distraction. Try take it easy and keep trying distractions. You can get through this.

Writing group is fun. I missed it last month, so I'm looking forward to it.

At least Friends is one of those things you don't have to concentrate very much with.

Beckie it's good you've planned driving test. You'll be on the roads in no time. My dad bought his first car yesterday at the age of 62. He's been sending so many photos of it and planning journeys.

I've never had lessons. I don't think I would be confident enough.

Driving is scary at first and I was a very over cautious for the first few weeks but you do get more confident as you go along!
But if you live somewhere with good public transport i suppose its not such an essential thing

Urgh, my knee is hurting after my spectacular fall. Stupid clumsiness.

I'm definitely going into the art shop. I might treat myself to pastels or new pencils.

Sorry I fell asleep. Been as I had to get up early and didn't sleep last night it was needed. Internment went as well as can be expected. I am not so good.

I'm drawing wind turbines and landscapes.

I'm going to rest my knee tomorrow. It was probably a bad idea coming out today, but I had to anyway for my appointment.

Oh I love landscape pictures! You can just get lost in them. I bet it looks awesome.

Sounds cool. I like wind turbines. There's a cluster.of them near where i live. I find them quite relaxing to watch them turn!

I've only ever seen 1 wind turbine before and it was in the sea so I couldn't see it that well. But I know HUGE!

Thanks all. When I used to paint I did mainly landscapes.

They are huge. There's a massive wind park that I go to and the turbines are huge and kind of eerie.

Maybe you could start painting again Dawn.
