I do like hospital puddings except rice pudding. I prefer sponge/crumble and custard.

I had vegan cheesecake the other night, it was tastey.

The cheesecake and also trifle in hospital is god tier food

had a really good Eccles cake the other day. The scone was disappointingly dry though. But all the sponge pudding/ pie type of things have been good. I would say the quality of hospital dessert is a step above the savoury stuff. Although savoury stuff is better than it was 10 years ago at my local hospital.

Just arrived home. CMHT duty worker should be ringing at some point either this evening or tomorrow morning. But other than that have nothing to do until outpatient appointment at hospital at 12pm tomorrow.

It's so wonderfully quiet at home compared to the hospital and nowhere near as hot.

So nice to be in my safe space.

I fell asleep after writing about being tired. Then i had to rush around later because i refused to wake up when my alarm went off…..
Taking my wee canary bird to the vet tomorrow. He has a bad leg/foot. It hasn't got worse the past week but neither has it improved. He is really old and i fear that the trip might kill him but i can't stand to see him in such discomfort either. I shall wrap his transport cage in a million blankets and race through town with the speed of lightening on my trusted steed; the e-bike!!!

An e-bike is probably less stressful for him than a car would be. I hope he'll be ok, Zurg!

Steroids woke me up at 5:30am but managed to get back to sleep after a while and woke up properly at 7am. So around 7 - 8 hours sleep which is a big improvement on yesterday's 5 and Sundays half an hour.

My day is full of appointments and phone calls. Just about to hop in the shower so I can get one in before the offices of the people I am expecting to phone me open.

I'm ok thanks. Was feeling groggy and headachey but ibuprofen and a coffee has sorted it.
I have gym and cpn. That's it. No idea what to do to occupy myself in the afternoon!

Excellent! And yes they do!

Good you have her for support though. So much easier and less stressful to be driven there rather than do the mammoth train and bus journey. Hopefully spending time with her after the appointments helps you cope a bit better with them as well.

Keld the canary survived the trip and the vet and we Got meds for him. So painkillers and antibiotic ointment for 5 days and if he doesn't improve we go back (hopefully not!!! I honestly can't afford another appointment).
Findus is bunny offended. I probably didn't give him enough snacks before i left….
So many things you're all doing today. I feel tired just thinking about it.

Glad your canary survived and has meds that should help Zurg. (I hope your bank balance survives paying for Keld's treatment)

Just had a really good appointment with speech and language therapist and my respiratory physio. Got some more strategies reassurance on what I am doing well and a clear escalation plan for if I have an attack.

Should be getting an asthma clinic appointment letter come through in next month or so with Consultant and Respiratory Physio and asthma nurse altogether.

That all sounds very positive lr.

I had my hairwash. Apparently feeling 'ok' wasn't good enough to be allowed my razor. I'm getting very hairy.

Going to try and rest now. Last few days have been a lot. Fingers crossed I can nap.

Sucks about razor Tamo but they have to be sure you are safe.

I always have very hairy armpits in hospital, I was almost just brushing them with the razor when I was allowed one! Hope your shower and hair wash has left you feeling fresh, Tamo.

The gym was fine.

I spent it online.
Got a much needed t shirt and some jogging bottoms from boohoo.
And had a discount code for them too for 15% off. It worked out well!
