Why thank you Daisy :-D

It took about half an hour to do. Plus a lot of imagination. lol.

You won't believe it, but I've always lurked in here. I found the Fun and Distractions forum to be really useful to me, as all the threads that I used were good fun and helped, as they were intended, to beat the urges. But There was this one thread, called "This message should ALWAYS be in top 5" that I wasn't so sure about. I wasn't quite sure about the point of it. Yes, I understand that there's not much point in most of the threads here, but this thread in particular scared me. I looked at it and all it seemed to say was *bump* or variations on the theme.

But one day, I got into it and I bumped. I found it was really quite fun, and more challenging than it had appeared to be at first. I posted again, and again. I got into conversations and I made friends with people. All through this one thread. I worked out imaginative ways to bump the thread, including hide box after hide box after hide box, bright colours, hide boxes AND bright colours, many, many different ways. And now, as stated by Fairytales Tell Tales, I "show true dedication to this thread". And that's the way it's going to stay.

The lesson to be learned from this? Thank you all. Lets keep this message in the Top 5. Let's make it fun. Lets have conversations and keep the thread going, so that people don't see page after page of *bump*. Lets go, guys!!!! :-D:hop: :jumpin:

Schleier von Dunst 14-05-2009 09:31 AM

I WILL keep this thread up until everyone returns to have conversations with me.

Schleier von Dunst 14-05-2009 09:41 AM

Even if it means returning every five minutes to keep it going. *refuses to say the B word*

Schleier von Dunst 14-05-2009 09:51 AM

And here I am again. With a very itchy back.

Schleier von Dunst 14-05-2009 10:52 AM

I just got cravings for a slice of bread. Which I had. But now I want one with Marmite on. I don't know if I can really be bothered to go all the way downstairs again just to microwave a bit of bread and put Marmite on it.

Schleier von Dunst 14-05-2009 11:43 AM

I'm starting to feel somewhat lonely here on my own now :-( I guess it comes with having so much time on my hands during study leave...

*experimental bounce*
*sits down*

ravynsoul 14-05-2009 11:52 AM

hiya! just reading through your past few posts. Definitely can have some fun conversations here. I was scared of this thread for a while too. Now I'm starting to warm up to it and not see it as so scary. I'm off to get ready for work, but hopefully will be able to chat more another time!

Schleier von Dunst 14-05-2009 11:58 AM

yay!!!!!! Another poster :-D

yeah, you should definitely return to the thread... It kinda... grows on you... if you see what I mean.

Schleier von Dunst 14-05-2009 12:13 PM

The problem is, I swore to keep the thread in the top 5 today whilst everyone's at school and work, but I'm going out in about 20 minutes to meet some mates in town for a friend's birthday. And I'll be leaving at the time that more people are starting to come online, meaning that the thread might fall down the page and I won't be able to stop it :crying::cry:

Schleier von Dunst 14-05-2009 12:28 PM

5 minutes until I go out... one final push just to get it right at the top to give it more of a chance before I go out.

broken butterfly 14-05-2009 03:31 PM

oh nooo...it's 7th....
major bump

broken butterfly 14-05-2009 03:32 PM

thank you :-) I like telling stories. I like this thread. But it's a bit um... untrustworthy. It keeps moving from where we told it to stay :-(

Frenemies 15-05-2009 01:48 PM

I love it too, but as it's always disobedient I figured I'd try a new approach to see if it complies :-D

Schleier von Dunst 15-05-2009 01:57 PM

Trust me, the cuddles work.
