Hooray for pizza! I'm not having pizza tonight, or we'd really be in trouble! :P

Cacoethes 09-01-2018 08:16 PM

Hahaa!! That would be far too weird!!!

nonperson 09-01-2018 08:30 PM

Hi everyone.

*joins foot size convo*

I'm 5'4 and have size 5.5 feet! Kind of in the middle of small and large I guess, for both height and feet.

skafunkrastapunk 09-01-2018 08:37 PM

Hello friends... been a while.

Shitty day, blah.

What's going around these parts these days?

Cacoethes 09-01-2018 08:45 PM

Hi nonperson!
How are you?

Hello skafunkrastapunk (that was tricky to type without auto correct throwing a tantrum! :p )
Not much going on really!

one_step_closer 09-01-2018 08:46 PM

Hello again.

I decided to go to Tesco on the way back from seeing to my friend's cat, just for a small snack, and ended up buying a pack of 5 doughnuts.

Sketchy 09-01-2018 08:46 PM

Yay pizza night Beckie. Lucky you!

Hello Nonperson
Hello skafunkrastapunk.

I just woke up from a nap. Back in my living room. Deciding what to watch.

one_step_closer 09-01-2018 08:47 PM

Do you watch 24 Hours In A&E? It's not on till 9 though.

nonperson 09-01-2018 08:47 PM

Hi Cacoethes!

I've had a stressful evening fighting with my smoke alarm. All fixed now though. How're you?

Skafunkrastapunk is an awesome username, hah.

Sketchy 09-01-2018 08:47 PM

Nice one Lindsay. Enjoy your doughnuts.

nonperson 09-01-2018 08:48 PM

And hi Lorraine.

So many messages appeared suddenly then.

Sketchy 09-01-2018 08:49 PM

It’s a busy thread this evening.

nonperson 09-01-2018 08:50 PM

That's a good thing. =)

one_step_closer 09-01-2018 08:52 PM

The noise of smoke alarms is horrible! Fire is one of my biggest fears, when I was younger and someone came to sleep over I would always mention not to talk about fire and would spell the word rather than say it. I remember a calor gas advert that was on quite a lot and there was scary music when the gas flame came on the screen. It wasn't nice.

nonperson 09-01-2018 08:54 PM

I think I'm ok with fire - I like staring at bonfires...

But yes smoke alarm noise is horrendous. Mine was just beeping constantly because the battery needed changing but it's still a horrid noise.

Cacoethes 09-01-2018 08:54 PM

Yay for doughnuts! Nom!

Smoke alarms are a pain in the arse!
Glad you sorted it

That must have been so awful lindsay

Im scared of gas.
Will NOT use isea gas cooker or anything
And had an hour and a half long panic in science when we were using bunsen burners!

Sketchy 09-01-2018 08:54 PM

I sometimes watch 24 hours in a&e, but at 9pm I’m watching celebrity big brother. I could always watch it on channel 4 +1.

one_step_closer 09-01-2018 08:55 PM

I think I'm not too bad with controlled fires.

Did you have a battery handy for the alarm?

Is it pizza time yet Beckie?

skafunkrastapunk 09-01-2018 08:56 PM

Everyone so nice here :-)

Great to see so many people that signed up so long ago as well.

Thanks for you all.

one_step_closer 09-01-2018 08:56 PM

The smell of gas makes it extra terrifying!

Has CBB just started? I kind of want to watch it but don't want to commit to it.

one_step_closer 09-01-2018 08:57 PM

How are you Nate? I cheated and looked at your profile for your name so I didn't have to type your username!

Cacoethes 09-01-2018 09:02 PM

Pizza is in the oven!

Yep the smell of gas was freaking me out!!

Nate is much easier to type :p

Holby is on!

one_step_closer 09-01-2018 09:06 PM

I kinda miss watching Holby. Are you a multi tasker like Lorraine and can watch TV and be on here at the same time?

Sketchy 09-01-2018 09:07 PM

Celeb bb has been on for around a week. I don’t normally watch it, but this time I am.

one_step_closer 09-01-2018 09:08 PM

Anyone good on it?

skafunkrastapunk 09-01-2018 09:09 PM

Hiiiii everyone.

Nate is certainly fine and easier.

I feel like I'm going crazy today tho. Want to leave work, go crawl in bed, and be depressed --- but it seems like I just don't get to do that anymore.

I have a wife and amazing 2 year old daughter. I shouldn't be allowed to be depressed, and it certainly doesn't allow me to take solace in imagining how I used to think I'd take care of my problems.

This isssn't the thread for that thooooo.

I need a drink. Do we have drinkers here or is that a bad vice?

Sketchy 09-01-2018 09:12 PM

I don’t know who most of them are to be honest.

Hi Nate, I like a cheeky wee drink. What are you going to drink?

skafunkrastapunk 09-01-2018 09:18 PM

I got some Baker's bourbon whiskey to sip on at home at a delicious 107 proof.

I see your posting from Scotland tho and probably laugh at my silly American whiskey.

I'm afraid that I'm about to run out though and will need to switch to the good and reliably cheap vodka and mixers.

nonperson 09-01-2018 09:21 PM

I want booze... =( Resisted buying some today which is probably a good thing really...

skafunkrastapunk 09-01-2018 09:23 PM

Saving some money for important things nonperson! Certainly better idea than drinking it away like me.

I wish I was good with saving money and resisting impulses. You're doing good!

Sketchy 09-01-2018 09:24 PM

I like bourbons. I like Woodford reserve. I’ve never tried your one though. I do like my Scottish whisky though.

Sketchy 09-01-2018 09:25 PM

I’m bored. I’m waiting for celeb bb to come on. There’s nothing on until then.

chinahorse 09-01-2018 09:28 PM

I'm watching a terrible program about dieting on 5.

Cacoethes 09-01-2018 09:29 PM

Busy in here tonight!
I can't keep up!

Sketchy 09-01-2018 09:30 PM

I’m watching that too Lillie.

nonperson 09-01-2018 09:30 PM

Thanks. =) I don't think resisting temptation will last much longer to be honest.

one_step_closer 09-01-2018 09:30 PM

I don't like the taste of any alcohol.

I was thinking about watching that dieting programme but I think I'll give it a miss after your review Lillie.

Hello again Beckie!

nonperson 09-01-2018 09:30 PM

I had to turn that off!

nonperson 09-01-2018 09:31 PM

I also don't like the taste of most alcohol.

chinahorse 09-01-2018 09:31 PM

It's doing a good job of saying nothing isn't it?

Cacoethes 09-01-2018 09:33 PM

I'm sick of all the diet stuff that new years brings!
I go to slimming world but you get told off if you call that a diet. Its a 'lifestyle change'.

skafunkrastapunk 09-01-2018 09:43 PM

One_Step, avoiding alcoholic drinks paves the way to drinking actual delicious drinks (assuming you don't mind the sugar). Now I want juice or a smoothie.

Also your handle reminds me of the song One Step Beyond by Madness. Just saying.

nonperson 09-01-2018 09:47 PM

As a diabetic I should therefore avoid delicious drinks and just stick to alcohol!

(Although that is sugary too...)

Cacoethes 09-01-2018 09:49 PM

I am addicted to coke zero!

Sketchy 09-01-2018 09:58 PM

I love diet irn bru and am sad that I have none! Must buy some tomorrow.

nonperson 09-01-2018 10:00 PM

I don't drink fizzy drinks. Can't stand Coke and Dr Pepper!

I'm sure I wouldn't like Irn Bru either.

Sketchy 09-01-2018 10:02 PM

That’s good though Nonperson, because fizzy drinks aren’t exactly healthy.

nonperson 09-01-2018 10:03 PM

I just drink water or squash! Sometimes fruit juice in the morning.

Fizzy makes me burp and feel bloated!

Cacoethes 09-01-2018 10:07 PM

Water or squash is much healthier!

Im off to bed.
My train is at 6:22 in the morning :(
Night night all!

nonperson 09-01-2018 10:08 PM

Night night!
