NP, or someone else plant knowledgeable, am I supposed to take these tie things off? Thank you.

I hate it when they put ugly ties on plants. I'd be tempted to take it off but be careful in case the plaited bit starts to pull apart but it doesn't look like it will.

Thanka Tamo.

An interesting plant there! predogs I had a yukka (spell?) plant which was my Life, and used to love having bonsais but with a dog that can reach nigh on everywhere can't risk real plants anymore :(

Join the club-I haven't been able to wear my game of thrones clothes and memorabilia since! sure the grieving process will happen and we'll move on some day *sniffle* I did see somewhere something about a prequel....

nonperson 19-06-2019 05:52 PM

I'm glad it's not just me who doesn't know what to do with themselves now it's finished then. I've already decided I'm going to buy the boxset with some vouchers I've got! AND it's out in July so not long to wait. =D

Yup, I saw that too. Apparently they've started filming the pilot already.

Cacoethes 19-06-2019 06:01 PM

I want an Arya spinoff where she explores west of westeros

nonperson 19-06-2019 06:02 PM

That would be awesome. =o

Hmm... Did you know the hide thing doesn't work on the Live Forum View! =o Except if you put a < or > somewhere because that seems to mess it up... but it's not doing it now for some reason...!!!

I know if I do >.> or <.< or <3 or something it doesn't show it properly...OR just keep typing and editing and waffling on and it makes the message too long! XD

one_step_closer 19-06-2019 06:22 PM

Of course you get a badge Eska!

Did they say when the blood tests will be complete Dawn?

I'm glad your Godmother is ok Tamo.

Buttons, I recognise all that you do. Some people focus on negatives or things that aren't important to you as an individual but make sure you hold on to all your achievements. Good luck with the course, hope you enjoy it.

Thanks NP for the plant advice.

I have no idea about anything related to GOT.

She wasn't a bad person but she did go a bit batshit

I think Bran knew
Didn't he say something like 'why do you think I came all this way'?

Love Tyrion

You are all so bad having such a public discussion.

Buttons. 19-06-2019 06:46 PM

Tyrion is the hero of the thing. I think we should name hi King of the realm of RYL. Any objections?

I tried using a hide box but evidently that doesn't work then I put in bold and red writing don't read next few pages if you haven't seen end of game of thrones, what more could we do???????

nonperson 19-06-2019 06:49 PM

We could have started a different thread with spoiler alerts in the title, I suppose.

I feel bad now. =( Will go back and edit posts now we've had the conversation!

one_step_closer 19-06-2019 06:49 PM

Keep your mouth typing fingers shut! :tongue2:

I'm sure it'll be ok.

Could you make such a thread and copy n paste our discussions here into it? Then let me know when done and I'll delete my posts.

Says you duck fingers!! I hope you are using them to type!

nonperson 19-06-2019 06:54 PM

Oh I already edited mine!!! Damnit. But good idea I'll do that now, Buttons!

Cacoethes 19-06-2019 07:00 PM

It's been out for aaagggesss now though!!!

nonperson 19-06-2019 07:01 PM

I know but I only watched the finale last night!

Stellata 19-06-2019 07:02 PM

Hi everyone!

I don't know about films, but I do know about heavy heavy rain!

Cacoethes 19-06-2019 07:08 PM

Keep up np :p

Not raining here for once!

nonperson 19-06-2019 07:10 PM

Right, all GoT discussion has been copied into it's own thread!

I'm always behind everyone else with stuff like this. Didn't get into Harry Potter straight away either!

Hey Katie. It's not raining here now but I got caught in an awful downpour this afternoon.

Cacoethes 19-06-2019 07:23 PM

I was into Harry Potter as soon as it came out
All the other kids used to laugh at me and call me a Harry Potter zombie. I was just ahead of my time :p
But tbh I didn't get into GoT straight away

Buttons. 19-06-2019 07:31 PM

Rain can suck Katie hope you aren't out in it-been a very warm day today here. How's your day gone?

*celelbrates GOT thread*

I read HP books before they were cool as well Beckie *preens* but like you took me a while to get into GOT, once I did I was hooked. I've given up on the books though, it's a very rare (if ever) event where the TV series is better than the books

Stellata 19-06-2019 07:32 PM

I wasn't out in it thankfully but it gave me a bad sinus headache!

nonperson 19-06-2019 07:34 PM

I feel so uncool compared to you guys... *sob*

Sinus headaches are awful =/ Rain just makes my hayfever worse for some reason (sneezing, itchy watery eyes, etc)

Stellata 19-06-2019 07:37 PM

I'm not cool either, np.

I know.. my eyes went all blurry it was horrid. Sorry it makes your hayfever worse.

nonperson 19-06-2019 07:40 PM

People always say rain is good for hayfever because it flattens all the pollen to the floor but it seems to make mine worse! Not that it's very bad anyway.

It gave me some pretty explosive sneezes last night!

Stellata 19-06-2019 07:42 PM

Yes the pollen is really high at the moment anyway!

nonperson 19-06-2019 07:43 PM

I'd rather have rain and hayfever than scorching sunshine.

Eska 19-06-2019 07:48 PM

My sister got all the allergies in our family, I escaped!

nonperson 19-06-2019 07:52 PM

Ooh lucky, Eska! =P

I got all the allergies in my family! Grown out of a lot of them now though which is good.

Eska 19-06-2019 07:53 PM

Oh, poor you! I'm glad they're not as bad as they were. I have a friend who is anaphylatic-level allergic to strawberries... He calls them death fruit.

nonperson 19-06-2019 07:57 PM

Aw but strawberries are lovely.

I never had anything that bad. Random bits of my face used to swell up though!

Eska 19-06-2019 07:59 PM

I know! He was my housemate for a whole which meant no having anything strawberry in the house. Now I live on my own I can have all the strawberry stuff I like.

Swollen face does not sound fun.

nonperson 19-06-2019 08:01 PM

I can just imagine you having strawberry stuff everywhere now, just because you can. =)

Noo it was not fun. It hurt and quite often would only be half of one of my lips so I'd look absolutely ridiculous going into work. =/

Eska 19-06-2019 08:06 PM

Well so far today I have had strawberry granola and strawberry sandwich biscuits, so you may have a point! I don't generally eat tons of strawberry stuff, it's just when you're avoiding it like the plague you notice the things it is in more!

Cacoethes 19-06-2019 08:09 PM

I'm luckily not allergic to anything

There was a kid in my primary school who I swear was allergic to everything
He couldn't even sit in the canteen when it was lunch time
He had to sit in a separate room
Must have been awful for him!

Stellata 19-06-2019 08:14 PM

I'm sensitive to many things but thankfully don't have any full on allergies. Except hay fever.

nonperson 19-06-2019 08:18 PM

Eek, that must have been so bad for him, Beckie. Wonder if he grew out of any of it... or if it lessened somehow.

I don't think I've had any random swellings or waking up covered in hives for more than 10 years now. It just suddenly stopped happening!

Cacoethes 19-06-2019 08:19 PM

I do sometimes wonder about him and if he grew out of it!

I had hive type things when I was pregnant but thats it
