Eska my mum has been banned from giving blood because it takes them so long to find a vein so you aren't alone

Evening all. I'm not in the greatest place right now physically or emotionally so if anyone feels inclined to try and cheer me up here is your opportunity :P

Hope everyone is doing okay <3

Buttons. 23-04-2019 04:46 PM

Also also Eska can I advise weetabix-has a ton of iron and has helped me bring my own levels up

Eska 23-04-2019 05:19 PM

I was banned for a year at one point for being anaemic so I'm hoping that doesn't happen again!

Noted about Weetabix! I shall give that a go.

Cacoethes 23-04-2019 05:24 PM

I didn't know about weetabix's magic powers!

I can't give blood at all because meds and epilepsy.
Shame because I'd love to!

Ummm *thinks of ways to cheer Buttons up*

nonperson 23-04-2019 05:37 PM

I'm not allowed to give blood either! =(

For Buttons:

chinahorse 23-04-2019 05:40 PM

I'm also not allowed to give blood ever. Booo.

I don't know the context but that photo is awesome.

I survived my first day back at work. About ready to collapse in a heap.

Cacoethes 23-04-2019 05:43 PM

Well done Lillie!

chinahorse 23-04-2019 05:44 PM

Thanks. We had cpr training. The take away message was that if you're not breathing you're dead.

Cacoethes 23-04-2019 05:50 PM

Sounds informative!

nonperson 23-04-2019 05:51 PM

It's because Buttons' thread says she's out of spoons so what could be better than a pile of smiling spoons. =)

Hm, worthwhile training then?

Cacoethes 23-04-2019 05:58 PM

Ah good one np!

nonperson 23-04-2019 06:08 PM

On closer inspection I see some sad ones in the pile!! Let's ignore those.

chinahorse 23-04-2019 06:14 PM

Ah epic idea np!

It was being paid to sit on my ass so it was good. Now need to shower and eat dinner and *flops*

Cacoethes 23-04-2019 06:19 PM

Yes ignore the sad ones!!

Thats good then Lillie!
What have you got for dinner?

nonperson 23-04-2019 06:25 PM

I can't seem to find a better picture. The other pics all look a bit creepy... o.O

Being paid to sit down is the best. =D

I need to go to the shop...

chinahorse 23-04-2019 06:25 PM

Not a clue beckie. What did you have?

chinahorse 23-04-2019 06:26 PM

Best is when you get paid to go to the loo!

Hope you don't need too much at the shop np.

Cacoethes 23-04-2019 06:28 PM

I didn't have dinner.
Not really hungry
There will be supper later anyway

Booo shop!
What do you need to get?

nonperson 23-04-2019 06:30 PM

Dinner. =)

And sandwich stuff and cereal bars and something to unblock my nose. x.x

chinahorse 23-04-2019 06:34 PM

Urgh stuffy noses are horrible.

Cacoethes 23-04-2019 06:35 PM

Blocked noses are the worst

not_so_insig 23-04-2019 06:36 PM

Hope my PM cheered you up Buttons!

nonperson 23-04-2019 06:39 PM

Yeah, I don't know if I've got a cold or really awful hayfever.

Stellata 23-04-2019 07:01 PM

Pollen is up today. My eyes are irritated!

Hi everyone.

Cacoethes 23-04-2019 07:07 PM

Everyone on the ward is complaining of hayfever. Even when they normally don't get it.

not_so_insig 23-04-2019 07:08 PM

I have had a bad head over the past few days.

Stellata 23-04-2019 07:12 PM

It's meant to rain tomorrow, might clear the pollen.

Buttons. 23-04-2019 07:18 PM

It did Dawn and so did everyone elses' messages although still bit confused by yours Lins :P

Speaking of hayfever my dog now has it after sticking her head in a bush (no lesbo jokes please :P) luckily it seems to be easing off.

Cacoethes 23-04-2019 07:19 PM

Yay rain!

Buttons. 23-04-2019 07:19 PM

Dog also seems to believe she can catch birds, green flies and wasps -_-

Cacoethes 23-04-2019 07:21 PM

Your dog is so special

Buttons. 23-04-2019 07:30 PM

Well she's mine of course she's special :P For example I just laughed at life of Brian and she sat up looked at me like what the actual **** then went back to sleep :P

Life of Brian is awesome

Buttons. 23-04-2019 07:38 PM

Of course. We worship you oh Brian.

Cacoethes 23-04-2019 07:49 PM

I want to watch it now!

nonperson 23-04-2019 08:30 PM

I can breathe again!!

But now my ears are blocked...

Cacoethes 23-04-2019 08:33 PM

Yay for breathing!

Boo to blocked ears though!
I'm prone to it and it's so irritating

nonperson 23-04-2019 09:11 PM

It's mostly cleared now thankfully.

Also I bought a discount Terrys Chocolate Orange easter egg. =)

Cacoethes 23-04-2019 09:12 PM

Ooooo! Yum!
Love a chocolate orange

I am sad that I missed all the easter eggs

Stellata 23-04-2019 09:13 PM

Glad it's cleared.

Dairy milk ones were on offer in my parents' local Morrisons yesterday, someone had 4 of them in their trolley!

Cacoethes 23-04-2019 09:17 PM

Got to stock up on that discount chocolate!

Stellata 23-04-2019 09:18 PM

I got a kikat senses one from my parents! The egg takes up so much space on my fridge shelf!

nonperson 23-04-2019 09:19 PM

Mine don't sit around long enough to take up any space, hehe. =D

Beckie I'm so sad that you missed out on eggs! =(

Cacoethes 23-04-2019 09:21 PM

I'd be the same np!
Chocolate doesn't last long in my house!

Me too :(
I'll just have to treat myself to something else when I'm out
I have ben and Jerry's in my freezer at home!

Stellata 23-04-2019 09:22 PM

They're still in the shops, Beckie.

nonperson 23-04-2019 09:24 PM

Can you get someone to buy you one/some?

Oooh Ben and Jerrys is something nice to look forward to. What flavour?

Cacoethes 23-04-2019 09:28 PM

I went to the one shop in the area today and they didn't have any :(
I don't get any visitors so no one can bring any in

I think it was half baked!
Probably my favourite ben and jerrys!

Stellata 23-04-2019 09:33 PM

If I was closer I'd come and visit with an Easter egg for you!

Cacoethes 23-04-2019 09:38 PM

Aww thanks Katie!
