I'm reading The Divide by Nicholas Evans (The man who wrote The Horse Whisperer)
It's good, but could be far better.

I'm almost finished with A Clockwork Orange. Very interesting book, with a very "evil" main character. I love the language Anthony Burgess creates, and the philosophy in it (the novel).

At the moment I'm reading The Rules of Attraction by Bret Easton Ellis and am really enjoying it. It's a very cleverly written and interesting book and I'd really recommend giving it a look sometime.

I read 1984 (George Orwell) last week, thought it was a little disappointing because everyone says it's brilliant...I'm going to read it again soon though and give it another chance!

Urethra Franklin 04-06-2007 07:40 PM

I'm reading, well a more apt description would be obsessing over John Milton's Paradise Lost.

indiedyke 04-06-2007 07:45 PM

a series of unforunate events which is wicked!!!:-)

I just read 1985 by Anthony Burgess. The first half of the book is an essay about how rubbish and wrong 1984 is. The second part is his alternative to 1984, twas rather good.

I believe it's Tim O'Brian, my friend read that and loved it, I guess there are a couple out by him?

I just finished Startled By His Furry Shorts by Louise Rennin...? I dunno, I am madly in love with the Georgia Nicolson series and can't wait for the next one to come out!

Currently reading High Fidelity by Nick Hornby, haven't read enough yet to say whether it's good or not.

Before that I read Don't tell mummy which I think was by Toni Maguire... I really liked that book although it was a sad true story I think the ending kicked arse

One amazing book to read is Why I Jumped by Tina Zahn. It starts off being depressing but by the end it is sooooooo encouraging. And also the good ole Bible is great!

God Bless A.x
