I think At the Mountains of Madness is on my 'to read' list, is it any good so far? |
I agree with you for sure on it seeming slow at first, but once it picks up, it's really fantastic. I think a lot of the historical padding out of Derry is what makes the content difficult to get through, but once you finish, it makes a lot of sense and you appreciate the time it took for everything to be set in motion and such if that makes any sense.
The Lovecraft novel is interesting so far, though i'm only a couple of chapters in :D |
Matilda - Roald Dahl. My favourite book from childhood.
|
I've just finished reading, To Die For by Carol Lee.
I'm just about to start reading, Smashed by Koren Zalickas. |
I'm reading Evermore by Alyson Noel.
Pretty good so far. |
I'm reading Christiane F. For the 10th time or something. But I love that book.
|
i seen IT as a tv series was brilliant !!

IT is a fantastic book. Takes a while to get going, but it's well worth it.
Just read: To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee. Currently reading: Michael Collins by Tim Pat Coogan. Next: Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy. |
Finished Evermore last night....TRYING Wuthering Heights now :)
|
I started Tom's Midnight Garden this afternoon for children's lit.
|
I'm reading Invisible Monsters (Chuck Palahniuk) for like, the seventy-eighth time. It's about a girl. Birds ate her face. Yes, I enjoy being cryptic. It's a good read though.
|
Just finished Impulse - Ellen Hopkins.
Seems to be a pretty popular choice around here. I liked it, too. = ] |
Just popped in to say hi and thanks. I picked up a copy of Flowers in the Attic from the library today that I hope to get started on soon.
