Started chucking it down when I was in the coffee shop! So I got rather damp. But I've done asda, aldi and got petrol. There was a queue for petrol and a lot of the pumps weren't working. Hope we aren't headed for a fuel shortage!
It's just generally busy everywhere today for some reason

It may not be a fuel shortage. Everywhere was busy today and it may be something as simple as they were waiting on a delivery!
We always run out of things the day before the drinks order comes through every Thursday at work.
I did fill up more than I originally was going to, but it's not like I won't use it all! And got a longish drive tomorrow.

The bedding for the spare room still isn't dry :(

It was L's birthday yesterday so we're going to an air bnb, Italian restaurant and rage room. The air bnb has a hot tub! And you can arrange for the place to be set up with balloons and cake etc.

Nothing exciting, as ever. Went to the chemist, washed my hair, hoovered, went to Aldi, and did some reading.

It's been dry but dull here.

I have to go to the chemist at some point. Idk if I should wait until Tuesday (it's not urgent) as I have something to post next week and the post office is semi near the chemist. It might be less hectic than going tomorrow because Monday is a Bank Holiday here in Wales (idk if it's different in Scotland).

I put it in the dryer, i didn't trust the weather.

It's dry! We've had our takeaway :) how are your evenings going?

Going to an airbnb today (it has a hot tub!) And I paid for a package to get balloons and cake and sweets when we arrive because it's for L's birthday. Then out for a meal and then a rage room!
This morning I have showered, been to aldi, picked up meds and cleaned out the boys!

I decided not to bother going to the chemist today. Will go Tuesday and it's only prn meds so it's not like mega urgent that I have them before then. I have enough anyway to last me until then.

The dwp are sending out tax statement letters so dont panic if you get a letter from the dwp.

I have tesco coming later. Normally I don't have a order on a Saturday but due to the bank holiday I decided to have it today instead. If I had it on Tuesday it would have cost me more for the exact same items. 1 substitution and 1 unavailable item so not too bad.

Thanks all, nice welcome back. I'm struggling tbh but took that out on my RV. ;) I cancelled my only plans other than my PT session so just on my way into central London to wander around etc. I hope everyone enjoys theirs - your plans sound fab Beckie and I hope you and L have a great time, that sounds like a lovely birthday treat and extra gifts as a welcome! :)

Yes the unavailable item was a book and it's available on amazon for the exact same price as tesco so I can get it whenever i like. The substitution was my sausages but it's ok. More importantly they have my muffins.

afternoon all!

I've vacuumed the living room and packed up some Vinted stuff and dyed my hair, its just developing now.

I've got a show tonight and won't be back til about midnight, but tomorrow I'm going to Newcastle and the only train that gets me there is at 7am - but annoyingly the first bus isn't until 8 so I'm going to have to drive partway to the station to find another bus.

Sounds like a productive day so far! Hope the show is good, and that journey tomorrow does sound frustrating but hope it runs smoothly at least.

I have had my tesco shopping order and put nearly everything away. The sausages were acceptable and ended up with more sausages than I originally ordered. Will order the book at a later date as am currently on another one. Think either Lindsay or Jenna have read it so will ask their opinion on it. *pootles off to book thread*.

According to the book thread neither Jenna or Lindsay have read it though they have read other books by the same author. Lindsay the book was Little Girl Lost by Casey Watson.

I have changed my bedding and washed my hair and will go to the local shop for my essential Pepsi Max after lunch. How is your day going so far?

I did! Honestly it was so much fun!
The guy was pretty impressed that I kept going non stop for the full 15 mins because apparently most people have to switch out after a few minutes because it's so strenuous. quite proud of myself! XD
You get 15 means each and only one person is allowed in at a time, for obvious reasons!

Drove back, was about an hour. Unpacked the car and everything, tidied up, changed bedding, put washing on and sorted dosette box. Got a roast booked for 2pm at a local pub.

So you have stuff to smash like loads of glass bottles and old printers and computers etc. And there's a punch bag and tyres. You get bats and you can chuck the bottles to smash them on the wall!
I raided the glass bins at work to bring extra XD
So much fun!
