I always wear socks too!

I bought a pair of sandals, I was really pleased with them. They were pretty and comfy. But I discovered I can't walk in them for more than 10 minutes without getting blisters.

It must be the day for having appointments in the heat as I have a psych appointment today. I am not looking forward to it. I have drank an can of monster and had a shower in an vain attempt to wake me up. I so didn't want to wake up this morning.

I don't have plans today. Just to stay out the heat. We've put up the gazebo in the garden and yesterday it was quite nice to sit under it with a book. I don't know if it will be too hot today.

I'm wearing three layers... T shirt, uniform top and zip up hoodie thing. Plus black jeans, socks and shoes! It's ok in work though.

Even our downstairs rooms are super hot, fans aren't cooling the bedrooms. Does your office have air conditioning?

My journey home isn't long - fifteen minute walk, ten minute train, fifteen minute walk - so will probably be fine! If I find I am hot I'll take off the jacket and uniform top.

I made it to the cmht! Took me over 30 mins today.
Genuinely thought I was going to collapse!

There is now a bus stop outside the cmht!
(And also a pub, random as cmht is in the middle of nowhere aside from a new housing estate)
Don't even care that I have to wait 20 mins for the bus, I am not doing that walk again!

I am boiling! It's been over 30 degrees today. It was thundering and raining whilst I was waiting for the bus. Thankfully I was under cover at the time.

I know! Wasn't in there very long, thankfully.

Started early and finished early so I'm now sat on the sofa while my mind and body recovers.

Oooh the Met Office says this is officially the second hottest day ever!

Pretty much all trains have been cancelled here and from London. And lots of delays because of the heat.
I hope it's sorted by the time I have to get trains tomorrow!
