I am rather hot but otherwise ok. It's 18 degrees here according to my phone. I am waiting for my clothes to dry.

I'm ok. Got a nurse appointment at 11:50. It's not an official appointment so may not be on time, but the GP has asked the nurses to squeeze me in between appointments, which was nice of them.

It's 18 here too but downstairs it's not too warm. Today is laundry day for me.

I hope the nurse is helpful.

It's just to check on a couple of wounds to make sure they're not looking sketchy. Said I was pretty sure they were fine, but GP thought it was best to be sure.

Anyone have any plans today?

What are you up to?

I have had a busy day so far. Put the bin back and waited several hours for the recycling boxes to be collected. Then my mum came and helped tidy up the bedroom. Then I had the boiler man to do the annual inspection and I put the air fryer back (it lives under the boiler). Then I have set the washing machine going as I didn't want to do it whilst the man was there. So I just have the dishes, clean the sinks, shake the rugs outside left to do tonight. Plus dry the laundry once it's finished in the washing machine.

I found out some important dates and wrote them down in one place so I can remember them on the day and go, "oh, that's nice."

Hey everyone,

Had a rough night last night. Didn't sleep until sometime after 6:30am and woke up just before 2pm.

Have just finished playing a board game with partner as a distraction and now about to attempt to meditate as I haven't managed it the last 3 days after a period of mediating nearly every day for a month.

I don't have a diary myself just use the calendar on my phone.

Hi everyone, have read but don't feel able to respond. Had an exhausting appointment with my CPN mostly talking about himself. Look after yourselves.

I do have a diary, most of the dates have passed by unnoticed but I will put the others there too.

Morning all. I have had a cold shower and have put my bedding in the washing machine. Might hang it on the communal washing line if the one particular neighbour hasn't taken it all.

I hope you get some space. I've had to put washing on the line because I hung it up indoors yesterday and it's still a bit damp.

At the moment there's space but that could change by the time my machine has finished.

Hope your day goes well, Beckie. I'm getting blood taken too and I usually have a very good vein I can rely on but recently it's not been playing ball so I don't know how easily they will be able to get blood today. I'm so sad that my special vein is failing me!

Have read but low on words/ energy.

I have the exact situation with my veins! Have one that's been reliable for many, many years, but it has been a bit temperamental lately! And I have so many blood tests, it's mostly just scar tissue so the nurses sometimes aren't sure whether they feel a vein or the scar tissue!
Hope they manage to get one!
Mine went well!

Have painted, just standing in pharmacy queue now, then I'll do asda, go home and make some phone calls and that's it I think!

My veins have been good recently.

The nurse managed to get blood ok. Maybe she was just better at it than everyone else.

Anyone watching the Olympics opening ceremony later?

I have been to the chemist too as last week I put a prescription in and they didn't have enough of my meds. So I went to pick up the remainder today.

I am being bothered by an fly. It flew up my nose at one point but fortunately it flew out as soon as I shook my head. I was hoping my nose germs would have been sufficient to kill it but sadly not :angry: .

I just stand in queues not doing anything except avoiding eye contact. I guess going on your phone is a good way to avoid people.

Having the skip will make it a bit easier instead of repeated trips to the dump!

That was our thinking. But we've got some stuff in there that still has to go to the tip.

Going to the tip is a pain. My advice is don't go on a sunny weekend! So busy!

I didn't watch the opening ceremony, what was weird about it?

It's not sunny here. I am currently watching the olympic Dressage. It's on discovery + not the BBC. I fell back asleep and slept for ages. Woke up with blurred vision.

We've filled the skip and need another!

Clearly I have been living under a rock!

I've had a pretty successful day so far!
Cleaned out boys, washed cars, called insurance company, showered, made 2 batches of brownies (some heading your way asap lindsay! At last!)
Put the boys out on the grass for a bit also, after the trauma of nail trimming!
