I have had my mum here. Am waiting for my jacket potato to cook.

I have packed almost all my presents.

I have wrapped all of mine.

I need to wrap mine at the weekend now that they've all arrived in the post today. Arse hole Amazon driver literally threw them over my gate though so I smacked the gate straight into them when I got home.

My day was surprisingly ok. I was doing something different with different people in a slightly different place - planting a load of trees - and it was a lot more enjoyable that I thought it would be.

We had well over 100 people booked into the restaurant for lunch today, and the bar was full! Double that amount of people were booked in for tonight! Plus the walk ins obviously.

Early parcels do suck. I've got Hermes delivering between 2 and 4 this afternoon.

Oh no not hermes!
They put my parcel ON TOP of my bins last time.
Not even behind them!
In full view of the road!
Most of the time they don't even knock.
My old hermes courier was much better

My mum works with a company called Hermes and they're always getting phone calls from people angry about non-deliveries.

Lots of horsey action on the telly tonight and for the next 3 days. Can't wait!

I fell back asleep but the postman woke me up.
