The bridge near my mum's is flooded so not sure if the bus is going to go all the way there tomorrow. There are routes around it as the other bridges on the other side are currently still open.
Downside to living near a river!

I feel you beckie. Bottom of my town is flooded and we struggled to get back from my PIP assessment on Friday because of the huge amount of rain and that was just bad roads and field run off. And CPN was worried about getting home, which I think is the other side of said river.

What a pain!

Luckily the shop is super close, like, two minutes away! I'm going to motivate myself by getting something nice. Perhaps cheese!

It sounds like the flooding is awful! I think our river is okay, haven't heard anything on the news about it so far.

Knew I should have bought two lots of everything.

I don't have cheese very often due to lactose intolerance but stilton doesn't really cause me problems & I have medication anyway.

I'm working tomorrow and then travelling (with the cheese) the day after so that will be enough of a distraction... hopefully =)

Funnily enough I was just looks at chutneys on a website and I come here to find a discussion about cheese.

I am watching Olympia (boring bit on atm) but keep on getting sharp shooting pains in my calf.

Both my calves are completely numb for some reason so I'm the opposite of you dawn!

I realised that I've only had one mince pie before today and not had my usual gallon of brandy cream so had to remedy that!

I'm also messing around with a security camera app to keep an eye on Geordi while I'm away.

Hehe, yes Geordi cam! I've set up my old phone as a camera and can watch live on my normal phone and it will record when it detects movement. Got it pointed at the cat flap and food bowls at the moment which is where most of the activity will be.

Mission successful: I have gotten the cheese. And also soup which was on sale.

I like mince pies but I react badly to cinnamon so I haven't had any in ages. Was tempted to buy some at the shop but got distracted.

Olympia is big horse show that is held in London every year just before Christmas. It's covered by the bbc every year Indigo.

Oh I wish I had cable, more for Love Actually than horse show, and also for the ability to just go through channels randomly and maybe find something cool!

I'm sure I can make cinnamon-less mince pies, if I made my own mincemeat with nutmeg and maybe ginger. Should have thought of this in advance! Perhaps next year XD
