Last year I went out for a meal but it was actually my friend's baby shower! It was a secret birthday celebration for me, lol.

There's an Indian/Thai restaurant near home that does buffet lunches on Sunday. Always choose there to eat out.

Otherwise don't really eat out very often but if I do it's usually places like Harvester or local pub grub. =)

My favourite pub has under new management. Judging from the specials they are having fancy food and jus. I liked it because it had traditional style pub grub/British food. I can't see what's wrong with good old fashioned gravy!

Lots of old pubs are turning into gastro-pubs now... Got to make things modern and fancy to make money, I guess!

They were number 1 on trip advisor for the past 5 years and if they turn it too fancy I can see it losing the title. It's set in a traditional area so if they turn it into a gastro pub it won't do so well. It's popular because of its traditional style.

I see we have turned to food chat again. My favourite. I had some pasta bolognese for dinner then ate a small tub of Pringles. It's not just Pringles that has the saying 'one you pop you just can't stop' for me, it's food in general. Minus the popping bit.

Yes, pate is generally made from liver! It doesn't taste like liver though. I like pate too. Quite like it on Dutch crispbreads. :)

Also.... really should read recipes properly... This is going to take like an hour to cook... Better get started or I'll be eating at midnight.

Hey all. I’m back.

I’m back in my own flat and just out the shower. It was sad leaving Molly in my sister’s flat, but my sister will be home from work soon, so she won’t be alone for very long. Molly was giving me kisses and being adorable.

I used to always buy Turkish delight for the exchange students at art school to see their reaction to it. One American lady called it perfumed chocolate. She thought it was strange.

Yes. It’s a quorn fillet with cheese and breadcrumbs. It’s yummy and easy to cook. I’m being lazy tonight.
