Shirayuki 15-01-2020 08:20 PM

hey np?
try it spicy, thats how i like it ^^

chinahorse 15-01-2020 08:27 PM

I don't like avocado and arent posh enough to have tried artichoke. Green cabbage and kale are also pretty grim. Which everyone thinks is odd for me to dislike because I like brussel sprouts.

Cauliflower is also alright. Nothing special.

I am clean and dry. Even completed the marathon of drying my hair.

Cacoethes 15-01-2020 08:28 PM

Cauliflower cheese is soooo good!
I'd do it more if I could be bothered to make the cheese sauce

I used to be into kpop when I went through my 'anime' phase. Tbh I still love anime, just not as into it as I used to be as a teen!

I've never tried kale but it doesn't look great.

Well done Lillie!

nonperson 15-01-2020 08:32 PM

Being posh is overrated, Lillie. =)

Cacoethes 15-01-2020 08:43 PM

I wasn't aware that artichokes were considered posh!

Shirayuki 15-01-2020 08:44 PM

er- whats posh? *nervous laugh*

nonperson 15-01-2020 08:47 PM

Like... fancy and rich. Upperclass.

Shirayuki 15-01-2020 08:56 PM

oh thanks np! ^^

Shirayuki 15-01-2020 08:56 PM

any ways what are you all up to?

i really should stop biting my lips because now they're bleading :(

nonperson 15-01-2020 09:00 PM

Watching Star Trek again.

Ugh, I do that too.

Shirayuki 15-01-2020 09:01 PM

i have to go might not be able to get on today, see you guys tomorrow maybe?

Cacoethes 15-01-2020 09:02 PM

Bye bye!

I'm watching holby

nonperson 15-01-2020 09:06 PM

See you tomorrow, Shira.

I miss Holby. Used to watch it religiously! I've put it on now seeing as Voyager has finished.

Cacoethes 15-01-2020 09:17 PM

I didn't watch it for ages and only started again about a month ago

nonperson 15-01-2020 09:29 PM

I recognise some of the characters! Just can't remember any of their storylines.

You have to keep watching for it to make any sense, I suppose.

Indigo. 15-01-2020 09:37 PM

I do love Brussels sprouts, bit only when they're roasted! They taste so much better & have a better texture.

What's Holby? I'm not much of a TV person.

nonperson 15-01-2020 09:40 PM

Holby City. It's like a soap opera in a hospital.

Cacoethes 15-01-2020 09:41 PM

I think the storylines have mostly changed from ages ago
It does help if you watch it every week though!

Holby city. It's a hospital drama on BBC one

Cacoethes 15-01-2020 09:41 PM

Ninja np!

nonperson 15-01-2020 09:42 PM

Mwaha =)

tamobhuuta 15-01-2020 09:46 PM

I used to love Holby, I should go back to it. Today I watched Doctors and Star Trek.

Cacoethes 15-01-2020 09:51 PM

I've never actually seen star trek.
I do like sci fi so I should watch it

nonperson 15-01-2020 10:02 PM

You should!

Which Star Trek did you watch, Tamo?

Indigo. 15-01-2020 10:13 PM

Never even heard of Holby then! Strange!

I do love Star Trek, have watched random episodes. Very much enjoyed TNG and, in a lot of ways, Disco.

nonperson 15-01-2020 10:15 PM

I've yet to watch Discovery...

Cacoethes 15-01-2020 10:17 PM

Which is the best? In your opinion

Indigo. 15-01-2020 10:30 PM

I haven't watched enough of each series to have a truly informed opinion. I have heard from many Trekkies that TNG is amazing though.

I think they're all good in their own ways tbh, kind of dramatic but very engaging and fun, including TOS (although you really have to consider just how old it is when you watch it! But it was kinda revolutionary for its time.)

Cacoethes 15-01-2020 10:35 PM

I quite like old sci fi anyway
I'll have to try it!
If I can find it online

tamobhuuta 15-01-2020 10:47 PM

It's got to be Next Generation

Indigo. 15-01-2020 10:54 PM

I think some of it is on Netflix Beckie! Not sure though, been ages since I watched it.

Does seem like many people agree that TNG is good.

(Off topic: I am eating breakfast biscuits for supper 😅)

Cacoethes 15-01-2020 11:11 PM

I'll have to have a look on Netflix then!

Breakfast biscuits are as good a snack as any!

Cacoethes 16-01-2020 08:44 AM

Morning everyone

I only got 2 hours sleep
Shattered

tamobhuuta 16-01-2020 10:23 AM

Aw no that's horrible, how come?

one_step_closer 16-01-2020 10:58 AM

Morning.

Oh no Beckie. Do you have much to be getting on with today?

How are you Tamo?

Cacoethes 16-01-2020 11:04 AM

I had a weird heart/chest thing going on and it was stopping me sleeping. Very annoying

I have a dentist appointment soon so had to get the bus for an hour, then need to go to TK Maxx and then bus back but that's about it

How are you guys?

one_step_closer 16-01-2020 11:06 AM

Are you feeling better physically today? I hope your dentist appointment goes ok.

I'm hoping I can make it to the gym group today.

Cacoethes 16-01-2020 11:11 AM

I'm still getting the same symptoms.
It just doesn't feel as strong because I'm out I suppose
Thanks :)

That would be good

Indigo. 16-01-2020 11:46 AM

Hi all!

I am late for work.

Sorry you haven't slept much and aren't feeling too well Beckie :( I hope your appointment goes well.

Hope you feel okay so you can make it to the gym group Lindsay x

tamobhuuta 16-01-2020 12:04 PM

Cacoethes have fun at the dentist!

Just come back from Costa with Dad and N which was lovely.

Cacoethes 16-01-2020 12:11 PM

Oh no Lucy!
Hope you're not too late

Thank you
Appointment was okish. Got to have another filling though. Boo.
I have bought a lovely little suitcase though! Usually £130 but I got it for £19.99 thanks to TK Maxx and my voucher I got for Christmas!

Glad you enjoyed costa tamo :)

tamobhuuta 16-01-2020 12:23 PM

I got swish boots from tk Maxx for 20 quid.

one_step_closer 16-01-2020 12:32 PM

Filling = not good, new suitcase at bargain price = good.

Lucy you should have been running to work not posting here! :tongue2:

I'm glad you enjoyed your Costa Tamo.

I can never seem to find anything in TK Maxx, I can't be bothered looking at all the stuff.

I'm not going to the gym group. :(

tamobhuuta 16-01-2020 12:40 PM

Why aren't you going to the gym group osc?

one_step_closer 16-01-2020 12:52 PM

I'm just a general failure.

tamobhuuta 16-01-2020 12:55 PM

You're not a failure, these things can be really hard.

chinahorse 16-01-2020 12:57 PM

Lindsay it's ok not to be able to manage things. Its doesnt make you a failure.

Glad the dentist went ok beckie and yay to bargains.

You're always in costa tamo!

I'm part way to Bristol Hospital. Caught the earlier bus to the train station so I could look around town. Got a headband, candles and super soft and snuggle pjs in primark. And some very odd chocolate orange segments with toffee in them. Very tired now though. And I still have the train. The bus. The appointment. Getting expenses back. Then the bus. The train. The bus. The walk home. Ugh.

one_step_closer 16-01-2020 01:07 PM

Thank you both. <3

Such a long day Lillie, I hope you manage ok. Nice purchases though. The chocolate orange segments sound tasty, is it the actual Terry's one? I know they have different versions. Maybe you can eat them to keep you going.

chinahorse 16-01-2020 01:29 PM

Yeah Terry's segments. Main deciding factor in their purchase was they were £1. I've eaten them. Not made me any less tired or cold. So sick of always being cold.

Cacoethes 16-01-2020 01:31 PM

I can never be bothered with tk Maxx for clothes. It's so much effort! But the suitcase section was manageable

You aren't a failure lindsay, as tamo said, these things can be really hard

Wow long day Lillie!
I hope it all goes ok

one_step_closer 16-01-2020 01:56 PM

*hugs Lillie if ok*

Thanks Beckie. What are you doing with the rest of your day?
