I remember the last time i was on a ward they did this interview/screening thing that seemed to last forever before letting me out. It was a bit annoying as my room had already been passed on to someone else so i had to sit around and wait with all my stuff….

Is everything sorted yet Beckie? The last things to do before getting home can be really frustrating when you just want to be at home.

We'd have to carry giant PCs around with us, or talk to people face to face and learn things through asking people, not Google... and be uncontactable for most of the time. =D

Smartphones are good. If I just had an ancient basic phone I'd cry. I remember my first ancient phone predicted your future for the day by showing a number of hearts under a category if you put your dob and todays date in.

Ah snake. Yeah I remember throwing my old Nokia on the floor so many times and picking up a million pieces and popping it all back together again.

In comparison I threw my current phone on the floor not long after getting it and smashed the screen.

Was thinking about the new Samsung Galaxy S22. They all seem to be getting bigger and bigger though and this one is exactly the same size as my current one.

I've had my iPhone 7 for a long time. They're now on iPhone 13 I think.

Not a clue about iphones but that sounds about right!
Jasmine is always going on about wanting the latest iphone. She's not even old enough for a phone yet!!

When do you think you'll give in and get her a phone? I rarely have the most recent iPhone. When I picked the one I had now it was with the highest space to save things (whatever you call that) so it would last me longer and it has.

Like with me and my siblings, she'll get one when she goes to secondary school!

But she also has to wait until she's 11 to get her ears pierced. I think she's old enough to have them done now and understand how to keep them clean etc. But i dare not ask my mum if i can take her to get them done! She'll definitely say no!

That sounds sensible about having a phone. Maybe your Mum would ok piercings if you asked. Is she anti piercing or just not at this age?

I do like shiny things too. I was going to buy the latest iPhone when the money matters people were telling me to buy lots of things so I wouldn't need to come off my benefits but that's so bad.

It's just the age i think. I'll ask if i can take her for her 10th birthday. That's close enough to 11!
I mostly just want to make sure she doesn't get pierced with a gun!
