I just finished A Great and Terrible Beauty by Libba Bray. It was really good and I'm looking forward to reading the next 2 in the trilogy :)

I've just finished Jodi Picoults book 'The Pact'. Good book.
Now I've just started a true life book called 'Abandoned' by Anya Peters.

Afterwards by Rosamund Lupton. She is such a talented writer. I thoroughly enjoyed her book 'Sister' and this book is equally as gripping.

I'm currently reading the girl who kicked the hornets nest. I have never been so gripped by books until I started reading the Millennium Series. I've read the first two (and watched the movies after each book). They are the kind of books that I cant put down but I dont want to finish them (if that makes sense lol).

just read 'Bang,Bang, you're dead!' by narinder dhami, its about a bipolar mother looking after her two children (Mia and Jamie) but it has a good twist at the end which involves one of the children (Mia) finding out that she's ill too. Its a really good book, I recommend this one for sure. :)

Talk about a spoiler!

I'm reading Meridon, the final part of Philippa Gregory's Wideacre trilogy. I'm not usually a fan of historical fiction, but it's an easy read.

A Clash of Kings - George R.R. Martin
About 60 pages in so far, not liking it as much as the first book yet!

The War Doctor 10-08-2011 01:37 PM

Finished The Running Man by Stephen King (writing as Richard Bachman). It was one of his better short novels; I loved it.

Currently reading (and almost finished) Vampire Hunter D: Volume One by Hideyuki Kikuchi. I don't think much of it, partly because I'm not a big fan of vampires (though at least Kikuchi's vampires are the sadistic monsters they should be), and partly because the prose style is just terrible. At times it actually reminds me of My Immortal. Also, the main character is your typical Boring Invincible Hero. I only bought it for Yoshitaka Amano's illustrations, which are as beautiful as you'd expect from him.
