I used to have a small collection of the Jinny books, but they weren't the best pony books for me. I also have a book called the black stallion revolts.

The Hundred-Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out of the Window and Disappeared - I loved the title and premise of this, it's a really amusing and quirky read.

About to start Alice in Zombieland by Gena Showalter.

The War Doctor 22-10-2012 05:36 PM

I just finished Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte. I absolutely loved it. My one complaint is that there were no really likeable characters, so it was hard to become emotionally invested and hope for anyone to succeed. All I could do was watch with horror and amazement as these crazy bastards tear themselves and each other to pieces. Oh wait, I have one other complaint, but this is directed at (some) fans of the book: do you really and truly think this is a beautiful, romantic love story? If so, you have serious issues. Your idea of love is more twisted and unhealthy than people who think Edward Cullen is the perfect boyfriend, if your swooning over the Catherine/Heathcliff fiasco is any indication. :P

I've started reading Hard Times by Charles Dickens. I'm only a few pages in, but I'm enjoying it so far. The writing style alone is pretty entertaining.

Just read 'The Happiness Project' by Gretchen Rubin which I quite enjoyed.

Now reading 'Far From the Madding Crowd' but it's taking a while!

Dancing Daze (Ask Amy Green) by Sarah Webb. Yes it's a kids book but I love anything to do with ballet, plus I do enjoy children's books.

Cross between Midnight's Children by Salman Rushdie (as I decided I should read some Rushdie at some point) and The Sense of an Ending by Julian Barnes.

Really rnjoyinh both; you understand why they have such acclaim when you read then, but in very different ways.

Goddess of Spring by P.C. Cast. A retelling of the Persephone myth, which is just about my favourite myth ever.

Also re-reading Harry Potter and The Order Of The Phoenix for the hundred-and-somethingth time.
