Shy_Bambi 10-07-2017 11:43 AM

I'm okay. It's currently 30 degrees in my room so I'm boiling hot. It's only 26 degrees in the rest of the house. Nightmare because the heat messes up my epilepsy.

chinahorse 10-07-2017 11:45 AM

Go sit somewhere else in the house?

Shy_Bambi 10-07-2017 12:38 PM

I guess I could but my tv is in my room so I'll be very bored xD

not_so_insig 10-07-2017 12:43 PM

I am currently waiting for the washing machine engineer. They may arrive anytime between 13.05 and 17.05. I hate having strangers in my flat and I hate waiting.

not_so_insig 10-07-2017 01:04 PM

Typical I have 2 spam calls in a hour.

Eska 10-07-2017 01:07 PM

Ugh Dawn how annoying! I hope the washing machine person shows up soon.

Shy_Bambi 10-07-2017 01:34 PM

I hate it when they give you such a large window for when they can arrive too dawn!
And for us, they always seem to visit us last because it's always late when they get here
I hope they arrive soon!

not_so_insig 10-07-2017 01:59 PM

Yes I wanted to go to the sorting office today and I can't. I will have to go later in the week.

Cacoethes 10-07-2017 02:21 PM

Had blood test and got bus to the hospital where I am currently waiting for x ray.
It is super busy in here!
Walking places seems to take forever now!

not_so_insig 10-07-2017 03:20 PM

The washing machine engineer is here.

Buttons. 10-07-2017 03:35 PM

Glad engineer has turned up z

Eska 10-07-2017 03:52 PM

I'm glad, Dawn! I hope they're done soon.

not_so_insig 10-07-2017 04:08 PM

Sadly he wasn't able to fix it. He also drew attention to my arm scars which made me feel super awkward.

Eska 10-07-2017 04:11 PM

Oh :( I'm sorry, that sounds uncomfortable and it's unfortunate that he couldn't fix it.

not_so_insig 10-07-2017 04:34 PM

It was uncomfortable Eska. He thought that they were cat scratches and I didn't feel brave enough to say that they were SI scars. The thing is I was wearing fairly long sleeves so he didn't see the worst.

Shy_Bambi 10-07-2017 04:42 PM

Wow that was pretty cold of him to do that Dawn, I'm sorry that happened.
Glad you've had your blood tests done Beckie!! But pretty soon you won't have to walk as much because you'll be driving :P

Cacoethes 10-07-2017 05:28 PM

Back home at last!
I have crutches now. Really takes the pressure off the ankle although asda was tough! :p

Whats everyone up to?

Eska 10-07-2017 05:41 PM

Ah I'm glad you have crutches now! When will you get the results of the x-ray? Or did they tell you already?

I'm listening to Disney songs :)

Cacoethes 10-07-2017 05:49 PM

They said call gp in I think it was 3 days? Im not sure, i wasnt listening properly!
I think i can look up test results online now anyway.

Yay for disney songs!!

Shy_Bambi 10-07-2017 05:55 PM

I think it is 3 days or so, when I had my back xrayed I had to wait a few days before going to the GP to get the rusults. But I didn't know you could get the online! Thats nifty!

Eska 10-07-2017 05:55 PM

Ah that's neat.
I should really sort out online stuff for my GP surgery but I'm not sure how much longer I'll be living here so I'm not sure it will be worth it.

Cacoethes 10-07-2017 05:57 PM

The online things is very handy!

Might be worth doing eska, all i had to do was fill in a form and take it in with ID and a proof of address so it didn't takd long

Eska 10-07-2017 05:59 PM

Does it let you see your notes and stuff? I would be kind of interested in that. I don't mind so much if it's just for making appointments and whatever, I'm ok with doing those over the phone.

Cacoethes 10-07-2017 06:20 PM

You have to sort it with them to be able to see your notes and stuff. It doesnt do that bit automatically.
I still need to go in and do that!

chinahorse 10-07-2017 06:22 PM

Oh that sounds so useful beckie. My surgery needs to hurry up and do that!

Eska 10-07-2017 06:22 PM

Ah ok.

I just had a cold caller hang up on me!

Cacoethes 10-07-2017 06:32 PM

My surgery has only just started doing it.
My old surgery had been doing it for years!

Cold callers are annoying!!

not_so_insig 10-07-2017 06:35 PM

I don't have to deal with cold callers on my landline because I have call guardian on the phone. My dad was so impressed with it he bought a call blocking phone too.

Cacoethes 10-07-2017 06:40 PM

That sounds handy Dawn!
I don't have a landline and my mobile alerts me to spam calls anyway.

chinahorse 10-07-2017 06:40 PM

Yay bland mine and sticky undercooked pasta. :(

not_so_insig 10-07-2017 06:48 PM

It's the only way I could have a landline Beckie because spam calls stress me out. Get tons on my mobile but I have an app that blocks any calls that aren't in my contacts. So I know that if it rings it's someone I know.

Cacoethes 10-07-2017 06:50 PM

That doesn't sound great Lillie :(

Shy_Bambi 10-07-2017 06:54 PM

You don't have a landline Beckie? How do you have internet? Our provider told us we have to have a landline otherwise we can't have internet! Charges us a lot to keep it and we never use the phone! D:

Cacoethes 10-07-2017 07:07 PM

Nope i don't have to have one.
I'm with virgin and it would be like an extra £5 a month or something to have a landline!

Eska 10-07-2017 07:43 PM

Lillie that sounds pretty miserable :(

I don't know what to do with myself this evening!

Shy_Bambi 10-07-2017 07:55 PM

Oh wow thats cool! I'm with BT. They're not great but my mum doesn't like change, so xD

I'm cooking a pizza I got from asda! I ONLY JUST REALISED that the asda I've been going to for THREE YEARS does pizza that they can make for you then and there. What is wrong with me, honestly xD

chinahorse 10-07-2017 07:59 PM

Lol rebecca :P

Cacoethes 10-07-2017 08:03 PM

Haha Rebecca!!
They do that in my asda too. It's pretty hard to miss :p

Eska 10-07-2017 08:10 PM

Apparently they did that in Sainsbury's where I was living before, I never had it though.

Cacoethes 10-07-2017 08:12 PM

I never go in sainsburys. Bit posh for me :p

Whats everyone up to?

Shy_Bambi 10-07-2017 08:25 PM

Oh my god my mum is eating her pizza with a knife and fork?! What kind of madness is this?!

Cacoethes 10-07-2017 08:34 PM

Whaaat?!?

Eska 10-07-2017 09:08 PM

The only options there are Sainsbury's or a tiny mini Tesco so yeah.

Lol Rebecca!

Cacoethes 10-07-2017 09:11 PM

Ah that sucks.
Tesco and asda are my favourite shops!

Shy_Bambi 10-07-2017 09:17 PM

We have 2 asdas, 2 sainsburys, a tesco and an iceland near us. It's like they're all trying to aggressively duke it out or something!

Cacoethes 10-07-2017 09:22 PM

Wow that's a lot of supermarkets to choose from!

We have an asda, aldi, iceland and Sainsburys.
But Sainsbury's is just outside the town centre so i never go there. And I've never been to aldi because its not on my asda route (it's literally like a 3 minute walk out of my way but I'm lazy!)

Shy_Bambi 10-07-2017 09:31 PM

I've always wanted to go to an aldi just to see what it's like. And a lidle

Cacoethes 10-07-2017 09:35 PM

Everyone is always telling me how cheap aldi is but you cant really do an entire shop there so I'd end up having to go to asda anyway.

Might go in one day (which ive been saying for 3 years) :p

chinahorse 10-07-2017 10:10 PM

Dude I do my whole shop at aldi bar sweetner.

Cacoethes 10-07-2017 10:14 PM

Hmmm! Will definitely have to give it a try then i think!
Its en route to the doctors so i could go in then!

How are you doing Lillie?
