I think quite a few people from here moved over to a site called the good limbo (??)
Don't know if it's still a thing!
I probably wouldn't join because i have literally like 96% of ryl on my fb XD

(Not an accurate percentage. I can't maths)

Couldn't get on for ages and it's at that stage now when it could genuinely die at any time XD

QUOTE=maii;4374325]Indeed it did and I got a v bulletin database error for a while and I was concerned and thought we were hacked or smth[/quote]

Oh no! I didn't experience any of this I was asleep but it doesn't sound good. Can we ask Jenna to see if she can contact someone? She did get someone to fix X the email issue a while back.

long road 05-01-2024 09:11 PM

It's too late for maths anyway Beckie. I am currently not capable of anything more complicated than counting and I have two maths a levels! Mind you I also have a neurological condition and have just woken up from a nap so that might play into it!

tamobhuuta 05-01-2024 09:13 PM

Mathsing has not been a thing in my brain since A level and I'm not sure how that happened...

Cacoethes 05-01-2024 09:13 PM

CONTACT THE AUTHORITIES

Wait
....are we allowed to say that??
I can't remember XD

I wish i could blame my lack of maths skills on my shitty neurological condition, alas, I am just stupid XD

But yes, i would imagine even if you are good at maths, neurological conditions are gonna interfere!

Hi Jenna!

Hello and nice day, Jenna, some of us are concerned about the shape and future of RYL as we experienced and outage today that left us with an uneasy feeling to say the very least.

Any information you could shine on this matter would be greatly appreciated and have a nice day and hope you are doing well. Well wishes and Kind Regards; Trisha

maii 05-01-2024 09:17 PM

Lol, Cacoethes, where's my tin foil hat. HAHA :)

I think we might not be able to say it about the state! :whistling:

Not stupid just people are good at different things. For instance I doubt I could ever be coordinated enough to ride a horse.

I do have to say one of the few good things about having the neurological condition is getting to use it as an excuse! :-p

tamobhuuta 05-01-2024 09:28 PM

Horse riding is scarey!

maii 05-01-2024 09:28 PM

BRB.........

tamobhuuta 05-01-2024 09:31 PM

Boobleeboo, sat here waiting for meds. Apparently they can't start till an hca gets back from taking someone on leave.

Cacoethes 05-01-2024 09:41 PM

Ah yes, the state!
God that was a weird time for ryl XD

I use the epilepsy as an excuse faarr too much!
I've used it to stop them cutting off my phone more than once. If i have to have epilepsy then I'm gonna take advantage of the very few perks, thank you very much! XD

I can see why people would see horse riding as scary!
Horses are massive and unpredictable. Like riding a bicycle that can make bad choices!

tamobhuuta 05-01-2024 09:43 PM

(I can't ride a bike either)

The hca is back!

tamobhuuta 05-01-2024 10:00 PM

I've had my meds :) sweet dreams all!

Cacoethes 05-01-2024 10:07 PM

I can't ride a bike
I tried a couple of years ago to get to work faster. I used it maybe a handful of times and ended up in a&e on 2 separate occasions XD
Used to be able to! It apparently is not, in fact, just like riding a bike!
Riding the horses was more like riding a bike.

Night tamo! Sleep well!

long road 05-01-2024 10:07 PM

Weird but fun! XD

I used non epileptic seizures to shut up a crisis team person trying to tell me to have a bath once XD The other main perk of FND is I have a blue badge, which I need because I can't walk very far, the perk is free parking most places!

I can't ride a bicycle either! The only times I have tried I have crashed and once I crashed so hard I broke my friends spare bike... I am super uncoordinated and very clumsy!

My nephew does RDA (Riding for Disabled Association) it took him a while to get the courage up but they were really good with his autism and introducing him slowly to the horses and now he loves it. It's been really good for his core strength as well which has helped his mobility.

Goodnight Tamo!

Cacoethes 05-01-2024 10:23 PM

I LOVE telling them i can't have a bath because i could die. The stunned silence XD

Blue badge must be very handy!

Horses are amazing for people with disabilities tbh
My horse when i was a teen was a right bitch, but whenever my little sister toddled over to say hello, she was like a lap dog! They know when they can try it on and when they need to behave!

long road 05-01-2024 10:42 PM

It's is kind of a fun way to be like **** you and your generic suggestion :-p

It is incredibly handy. Especially at the hospital because hospital parking is extortionate but you can park for free if you have a blue badge. There is however not enough disabled parking so sometimes we have to park in main carpark and partner grabs a wheelchair and I get a long bumpy ride!

They really are, he loves it. His horse he rides is called Blue Jack and now every horse he meets is called Blue Jack XD

Cacoethes 05-01-2024 10:46 PM

For sure!

Hospital parking is ridiculous!
One of the few times i am glad to not have a car!

Aww that's adorable!

long road 05-01-2024 10:58 PM

He has his adorable moments! It his birthday later this month, can't believe he is going to be 5 already!

maii 05-01-2024 11:56 PM

I hope you sleep well, tomo.

I don't know, I guess, but I'm struggling this evening even though I did make some progress today, my mood(s) shifted and my mind is telling me I'm a failure.

Cacoethes 06-01-2024 06:23 AM

Yeah kids grow super fast jen!

Morning everyone!

The authorities have finally arrived. (And no, youíre not allowed to say that).

Alas, not a lot I can do so probs should prepare for the RYL apocalypse.

I will obviously try to summon the more senior authorities but the email thing was a quick fix and I get the impression that the actual site isnít massively fixable and needs a full remake or something?

Cacoethes 06-01-2024 09:38 AM

Oops! :tongue2:

Would imagine it's all quite old school now
Sad times
Thoughts and prayers

one_step_closer 06-01-2024 12:28 PM

Morning everyone.

I do not want RYL to die! *cries hysterically*

Cacoethes 06-01-2024 01:00 PM

Will be a sad day indeed!!

Afternoon!

one_step_closer 06-01-2024 01:01 PM

We have had many scares.

How is your day going so far, Beckie?

Cacoethes 06-01-2024 01:03 PM

We have!
But we persevere!

Been a weird one so far! XD

How are you?

long road 06-01-2024 01:45 PM

Afternoon all!

Cacoethes 06-01-2024 01:45 PM

Good afternoon jen!

long road 06-01-2024 01:58 PM

I read that on the sing song assembly voice XD

I have just got out of bed to watch some TV. Bit fragile due to having acquired another minor concussion last night.

tamobhuuta 06-01-2024 02:17 PM

Oh dear that's not good lr.

Afternoon everyone.

long road 06-01-2024 02:29 PM

It doesn't seem as bad as when I got a head injury in October which is something. Just taking it easy.

How are you Tamo?

tamobhuuta 06-01-2024 02:31 PM

I'm ok. My mum should be here soon. My only job for the day was a shower which I have achieved.

Taking it easy sounds good.

long road 06-01-2024 02:33 PM

Well done on your shower. Hope you have a nice time with your Mum.

maii 06-01-2024 03:03 PM

Thank you, Jenna for the clarification, but that is sad and I'd be distraught if RYL were to go down; but I'll prepare as best as can be for this "apocalypse"

I hope something can be done and I'm sorry to hear it isn't fixable.

Again thank you - sorry I forgot to quote you.

long road 06-01-2024 03:32 PM

I am watching The traitors it is very silly and good fun so far.

tamobhuuta 06-01-2024 03:49 PM

What's it about?

long road 06-01-2024 03:54 PM

It's a social deduction game /reality show. There are 22 players most of them are faithful but a small group of them are traitors. Aim of game for faithful is to find and vote out the traitors. For the traitors it to remain undetected. Each night the traitors get to 'murder' a faithful (no actual death just secret elimination). And each evening there is vote where either traitor or faithful can be sent home. If there are only faithful left at the end they share the prize money but if there is one or more traitors the traitors get all the money.

not_so_insig 06-01-2024 03:55 PM

Hello all.

maii 06-01-2024 03:57 PM

HI, tomo, LR and insig ... how are you all?

not_so_insig 06-01-2024 04:13 PM

I am ok thanks maii.

tamobhuuta 06-01-2024 04:16 PM

That sounds fun.

Hi maii, I'm ok, had a nice time with my mum. How are you?

one_step_closer 06-01-2024 04:17 PM

I hate shows like that! I mostly just watch documentaries.

Did your Mum bring you Costa, Tamo? Have you tried a hot milkshake yet?

tamobhuuta 06-01-2024 04:22 PM

No she didn't :( she brought me chocolate milk from m&s which was nice. I've not tried a hot milkshake. What are you up to?

one_step_closer 06-01-2024 04:23 PM

Chocolate milk is good. I've just recently tried vanilla milkshake which I liked.

I've just finished reading a book now coming online for a bit. What about you?

maii 06-01-2024 04:27 PM

I'm feeling alright, tomo, thanks for asking.

long road 06-01-2024 04:29 PM

M&S do a good white chocolate milkshake.

To each their own with shows I am not the biggest reality TV person but like that this has elements of a gameshow and elements of the sort of social deduction game I have played round the table with friends (e.g. mafia, werewolf). But then I also like Survivor though much prefer the Australian version as it has more gameplay and strategy than US or UK.
